Believe the Reviews!

This product is useless. It may pick up liquids quickly, but not completely. Horrible for car washing - leaves lint and spots on car finish. Use your money to buy shammy or a bunch of real towels. Washing is insane. lots of orange mess in your washer! Avoid this product.

Useless Product!!

10/4/2008 - Albert of California, U.S.A. writes:

I bought these Zorbees to wipe my car and other towel duties. IT IS USELESS!! Yes, I did pre-soak it and wrung it out. It does not wipe dry. It leaves water spots. Imagine drying your car with a piece of plastic wrap. That is the results I found with Zorbees. I fell for the infomercials, don't you! Really! These are useless!! HONESTLY!! USELESS!!!

Has it uses if used right.

9/24/2008 - jerry of ontario, canada writes:

First, read the directions. Works better that way and sorry if this is a little long. Bought this to use to dry my car after washing, but after testing tonite (purchased today), likely won't serve its purpose for that, but I'll try it in the future. However, it does soak up a whole lot of liquids. My first test was a failure. Filled a measuring cup with 18oz of water. Put the cloth (large orange) in slowly, and watched the water spill over the edges. Not impressed. Then I saw the little page with instructions. Soaked the towel first, rung it out good. Tried again. Soaked up the water! Again, used the large orange towel - wet it first and rung it out. Folded it in four, and proceeded to pour 18 ounces of water on it. Picked up to towel and it held it all, except for a small spot directly below where it was being poured. Likely could have poured another 5 or 6 ounces on it before it would be completely saturated. Held the water as I took it to the sink. Next I poured some water in a small plate and used the smaller yellow cloth - soaked it all up, save for a bit of residue. Rung out the cloth and went back to get the residue, soaked up the rest, but when you move the cloth around it does leave some water residue on the surface. Cloth does not make everything bone dry, but if used right it does soak up a whole lot of water. I plan on bringing home a piece of carpet from work later this week and trying do duplicate the commercial. Will post a review on that attempt later. In the end, I did find it a bit disappointing in its ability to make things completely dry, since, as stated above I purchased to use for drying my car. However, I was rather impressed with its ability to soak up and hold water. Do I think I overpaid? Yes, but I also bought it at one of those tv product stores rather than direct. However, it also seems I saved on some headaches by not dealing direct. Would it be worth the online/tv price (around $14ish)? If it holds up, perhaps. Would I buy more? At this point I might, but definitely not at the price I paid, but perhaps if they were in a bargain bin at a local department store. That's it. Thanks for reading.

Do not buy it.

False Advertising: This product does not perform as advertised. I am suprised that Billy Mays would represent this scam. The product is the worst thing believe I have ever bought.

Very Disappointed

9/4/2008 - Scott of California, USA writes:

These do not work. The surfaces are still wet after using them. What good is a towel that you have to use another towel to finish the job. When using on a car it leaves lint.

Garbage

9/1/2008 - Brian of Georgia, USA writes:

These things are terrible. They dont soak up any more than towels, they shred, they just smear liquids around, and then they compltely fall apart in the wash. Garbage. Just buy a chamois or a bunch of paper towels.

Disappointing!

8/26/2008 - Sheila of Missouri, USA writes:

These are awful! They do soak up large amounts of liquid, however you can't get the area completely dry like you can with a towel or paper towel. They claim they can be washed in the washer on delicate. The thin ones were okay this way, but the big thick ones did not wash well at all. I had tons of orange fuzz in the washer and when I held them up, I could see through them in some places.

Holy cow these are terrible.

8/21/2008 - Jeff of MI, USA writes:

I really, REALLY wanted these to work as they advertised on tv. At first I blamed myself and my technqieue, and then I tried to copy exactly what Billy Mays Mr. BM did on the show. It's a scam. They do not absorb liquids like they show on tv. Now they work great for having dishes dry upon, but as far as cleaning up spills they're terrible.

Piece o' junk

8/10/2008 - Davy of MA, USA writes:

Fortunately I did not purchase this product through the mail or internet. My wife bought them for me from a local store. They are total junk. They do not absorb and they only move water around. I tried the larger orange colored cloth on my car and it left orange lint all over the surface.

Garbage!

Bought them, used them, hate them. Absolute waste of money. They don't even work as well as a cheap paper towel. I use them now as ordinary car rags. Save your money.

Barnum wasn't even close...

6/8/2008 - Richard of California, USA writes:

Saw the product at [] and bought a pack. First sign of trouble was when I put the cloth under the tap and the water beaded and rolled off. This miracle absorber actually repelled water. It's a 5 cent piece of felt that I spent 14 bucks on. I've been ripped off worse I guess.

Waste of time and money. Doesn't do a thing that the infomercial said it did. Took forever to even show up. I had to call and ask about my order.

Not as absorbent as a cheap paper towel. Just moved the water around did not absorb much. I have found no practical use for these pieces of junk.

Ridiculous waste of money

4/29/2008 - Amy B of MO, United States writes:

I NEVER buy into the infomercials on TV but my husband showed the ZorbEEZ to me and was really excited so I figured what the heck its only $25. I should have trusted my instincts. They work nothing like whatever cloth they use on TV. At all. I poured some water on the table and used one, it soaked up some of the water but far less than a paper towel or a regular towel would have. It pretty much smeared the rest around. I think an old cut up t-shirt would have done a better job. I ended up getting a paper towel and wiping it up. I put some water in a small cup and put the Zorbee in there, it soaked up again some but the rest it sloshed out onto the table. I tried using one as a kitchen hand towel, as I had guessed at this point it didn't dry my hands. I tried using one to dry the counter after doing the dishes, again it just smeared the water around. I found them to be quite the opposite of absorbant, if you pour water on them it beads up, and what is absorbed just drips out. The fabric on TV seemed soft and fluffy and absorbant; what you actually get is stiff, flat, and scratchy. The package insert declares that it's made of some "new" material but I honestly thing it's just some cheap cloth made of felt and wool. I don't want to pay to return them so I think I will use them as shoe mats for camping and such. It's a ridiculous gimmick and a waste of money. Don't buy them. They don't work.

SCAMSCAMSCAM

4/18/2008 - Disturbed of AZ, USA writes:

Horrible. Just horrible. While I did receive the product in a timely manner, the product is seriously nothing but a number of large pieces of felt. Not absorbant, not at all what the infomercial shows. It seriously blows my mind that this company hasn't been sued and the product taken off the market...absolutely do. not. waste. your. money. Hopefully you'll find this site before I did...believe me...it's a scam.

zorbeez

4/11/2008 - cheryl of pa, us writes:

Horrible - bought this for me and a fun gift for a friend. Read directions - said not to dry in dryer due to shrinkage - I don't care if they shrink. I washed them in washer and dryer and had a pilling mess. They push water around, not absorbed - how did this ever get on the market and how is it still ON the market!! Wish I had read the reviews before I bought!
