Not What It Looked Like

7/31/2007 - Colleen of Minnesota, USA writes:

We bought the worx gt and waited almost 3 weeks for 'rush' delivery. When we got it it took almost 2 hours to charge the battery. Then we looked for the string. What a joke that was - Two spools about the size of a Fifty cent piece. We packed it back in the box and are requesting return authorization. Guess we are back to the old loud gas powered one. We would not recommend this product to anyone.

Just Not what they said it would be

7/26/2007 - Pat of North Carolina, USA writes:

When using this product I had a great deal of problems with the line feed.I had to manuely feed the line most of the time. When I ordered the "free" replacement line the shipping was almost $9.00 for 3 packs of line and I was sent the incorrect line. Now the line feeder cap cover has come off some where when I was last using it and I have a useless product. I could only do about half of my yard with it before I needed to recharge. -BUT- It was light weight and easy to handle when it worked I would never buy this again and would have returned this but my husband threw the carton away.

works for me!

7/25/2007 - Ellen of Texas, USA writes:

I am a grandmother on a small farm. My husband is waiting for a liver transplant and I can't depend on anyone but myself. I needed something I could handle easily to do the trimming. I can't handle a gas powered weedeater (too heavy and messy)and the trees I want to trim around in the orchard would require too much cord. My brother-in-law put it together and used it while we were at the hospital. He cleaned up around our flower beds with it in such a manner that I can easily get the mower in close without running over the edging. I bought 2 batteries and have no problems there. It is not heavy duty, but I can use it without ending up with a back that has gone out. And, I'm not trying to use it on Johnson grass or the pasture! I use it in all the areas that are hard to mow between and under the rail fence line. So far, so good! re-order the line immediately as they say it will take several weeks when you place the order. I've just used up my first spool and have 1 left which came with it. I think the spool lasts longer than my old ones. I love how easy it is! My grandson fixed the handle when I undid it too much. I'd buy it again. We'll see in another month!

JUNK/FRAUD

Works for me

7/21/2007 - Harold of Nebraska, USA writes:

Will not replace your gas trimmer but good for light duty trimming...much more convenient. Mine was on back-ordered for a while but can't really complain as it was better then I expected from infomercial.

I'm pleased...

7/20/2007 - Lynn of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

I like my worx gt. It did take longer than an hour to charge but I purchased 2 batteries so a longer charge time doesn't matter to me. It ran strong and cut well. Still doesn't need recharged yet. Slow shipping but I'm very pleased with my unit.

SUCKER

7/19/2007 - Anonymous of Tennessee, USA writes:

I purchased this product in April and have been trying to get a refund ever since. I have been informed through customer service that it only has a 30 day money back guarantee. This product is a joke, it is not at all a purchase I would recommend.

What Was I Thinking?!?!?!

7/18/2007 - Elaine of Texas, USA writes:

We all know 18V power tools are never as powerful as their gas or electric counterparts. I was sucked in by a 'but that looks so real', moment. Don't do it, I knew better, but second guessed myself. No power, too expensive, not enough battery life, takes the batteries too long to charge, and there is not enough space on this page to list it all. How do I send it back?

Worst Product I brought

7/18/2007 - Eric of South Carolina, USA writes:

I purchased the Worx GT 3 in one weed eater and edger. Right now I have these products, but they are seperate. I thought the Worx would be a good investment and make my job easier. Boy was I wrong. It ate up the cord faster than I could cut trim the weeds/grass. The power was terrible. I barely had enough to do a small job. My hair clippers had more power. Stick to the electric or gas weedeaters/edgers. This was a waste of money.

Works great

7/9/2007 - Melissa of Ohio, USA writes:

I think this is a great product. We bought it from the www.[].com website. The only problem we had was that it took forever for it to arrive. I called customer service and they said it turned out to be a very popular item and that it was on back order right now. I waited another week and called back after still having not received it. They said it was still on back order and they should have it within 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, I called again and they said it was in and we should have it within a week, we got it 10 days later. Yes, it is taking longer than an hour to charge the battery. So what. I don't know how much line we used on it, but who cares, you get free line for life. So come on, how can you complain about that. I think it works great and it is very light weight and is very versatile.

No power to slow

6/28/2007 - John of Tennessee, USA writes:

This weed eater looks nice but has no power. I used it for 5 mins and stop when i was it was going to take 1 hour to do a job that my gas power weed eater only takes 20 mins to do. I wish i look at the reviews before ording. I'm going to try to get a refund.

Disatisfied Customer

6/20/2007 - Eric of South Carolina, USA writes:

I purchased the Worx GT Trimmer and Edger because on the commercial, it made yard work easy and I like the battery feature. When I received it, I charge it up for the required period and when I used it, it quickly ate up all of the cord, not enough power to do normal weed eater and edging jobs and overall, I was not satisfied. Power was lacking and I went through 2 cords in a very short span of time. I sent my unit back for a full refund. I will still to my weed eater.
