My feet were destroyed after 10 years in the military. I love to run and did not want to stop. It hurt to just stand for longer than 5 minutes. My grandmother actually bought these for me when I told her I had plantar fasciitis. These work fantastic in my tennis shoes and running shoes. They have cured my plantar fasciitis. If you have plantar fasciitis give it a try – it is worth it to see if it helps. I spent so much money on orthotics (hundred of dollars) and time seeing podiatrists and these were better than all that time & money! I ran the San Diego R&R Marathon with them in 2007 and I could not have run the marathon w/out them. They really did save my life.

I ordered them from the company which was one of the worst telephone experiences I had because they tried to sell me everything under the sun when all I wanted to order was the Walkfit innersole. Then, when I told the agent I was not interested in the long list of items for sale there, she had an attitude for the rest of the call. Ok, 'nough said about that. The innersole has three arches low, medium and high. But they are made out of hard plastic, not soft. They hurt so badly out of the box. I tried to gradually get used to them but, after about 3 days of pain after only 5 minutes of wearing them, I called the company and told him how they hurt me and the agent said: If you have foot problems, Walkfit might not be for you. Yet, the product was advertised as being for people with foot problems. I returned the innersoles and the company took almost 2 months to refund my money after two phone calls asking them where my refund was. Terrible company and unsatisfactory product.

UPDATE: I’m 47 and been walking consistently about four miles a day, four to five times a week. About four years ago I started getting a sharp pain in my left foot while walking one day (I thought I tore something). I went to my doctor and they took x-rays and all but found nothing. A couple of years go by and I keep trying to walk but in pain all of the time. It got to a point where I had constant pain in my left foot while just standing. It started to affect my right foot over time from over compensating. I finally went to another doctor last year and he suggested custom arch supports. He said my insurance does not cover it and recommended me to a friend of his. He said they cost about $400 for a pair. I thought that was too much so I never went to see him. Well about a week and a half ago I really pushed myself trying to walk and must have hit a nerve of something. The pain was so bad in both feet by now that I stopped walking all last week. Sunday night (8/31/08) I went walking with my wife. I was in a lot of pain so I walked slowly. So slow that heavy set women were passing me by. I’m not use to that because I walked about 4.3 miles per hour (I’m 175 lbs and 5’-11”). Believe me, I been doing this a long time now and in fairly good shape. I could hardly get 2 miles in before quitting and had my wife drive us home. Late that night I’m lying in bed (around 1:00 AM Monday, Labor Day). I’m flipping through the channels while my wife is rubbing my feet and came across the infomercial for Walk Fit. I get the phone and place an automated order for two pairs, only to get pissed off when they signed me up for every other product I didn’t want. It made me so mad that I called them back and spoke to a sales person and said I want to cancel my order. He said I would have to call their customer service and cancel. Later that morning I called and cancelled my order. I still wanting to try them so I found them online and called a local dept. store and found them there (on Labor Day). I put them in my NB shoes and went walking. Immediately I could tell this was going to work. I went walking at the park around 11:30 AM by myself and was able to walk my full speed and got in 5 miles (I kid you not). No pain! All of the sharp jolts of pain that use to run up my legs are now gone. I came home and wrote to review. The only sad thing is that I didn’t find out about them four years ago.

Hi, I was suffering from back problems and I saw the commercial for walk fit and said what the heck I will give it a try. Odering was easy and they did arrive quickly but that is the only good thing. These things are junk. It stated that you wear them a little to start and slowly work your way up to full time. I followed the instructions and within a month they started to crack. Then they just started to fall apart. After 4 months of tring to use these I was in more pain than ever. Now my feet hurt worse than my back ever did. Finally tossed them and bought NB shoes for the support and some cheap pads from [] and that combo has worked best.

After buying a pair of $365 custom orthopedics from a podiatrist, and over the years from the local pharmacy amounting into hundreds of dollars. I bought a pair of these from [] of about 16 bucks. At first I was skeptical about this junk but, hey I spent hundreds of dollars on the other junk insoles to. To my surprise, they work better than anything I own. The support under my arch has not hurt since I put this in. At first they do take a little getting use to, for me about a week. But, Wow comfort for 16 bucks and they don't need to be replaced. Oh, my 365. dollar pair sits in a pair of shoes I use once in a while. Great product for some but maybe not for all. Buy them on [] if you don't like them re-sell them.

After buying one pair of $300 custom orthotics from a podiatrist for awful pain in both my heels, I tried the Walk Fits. For the price, I figured it was worth a shot. It's been at least 5 years now, and I've reordered 6 more pairs (so I could just leave them in all my shoes instead of switching them around, none of them has worn out.) I keep the expensive custom set in just one pair of sneakers I rarely wear. I use the Walk Fits about 25 days a month. These things really do work! It took several months for my plantar fascitis to clear up, and I haven't had a recurrence (even though I've had the problem come and go over the years prior to keeping orthotics in all my shoes.) I was surprised that cheap crap from an infomercial actually does the job they promise.

I ordered these a couple of years ago and as soon as I started using them I started getting cramps and spasms in my feet the likes of which I never had before. I still do occasionally get these cramps even after not having used them for years. I do have some problems with cold feet and they do warn you on a small insert that if you have circulatory problems not to use them but who reads everything that comes with it, Also there is no warning on the website or the infomercial so I am warning you to read and be very careful!

I have been a fitness instructor for over 20 years and developed very painful plantar faciatis and could not teach my classes, compounded by the fact that I am also a roller derby girl and could not skate! After a week of using the incerts, I was back to teaching and skating pain free! Of course, I had to work thru the break in period, but I know if I gave up I would not be back in action! They fit in all my sneakers AND in my skates very nicely and do not slide even during kickboxing! I highly recommend the product!

6/19/2008 - Camille of Oregon, USA writes:
There is a break in period for the product. Which I was disappointed to find out could take up to weeks. But once I used it I was actually happy. I haven't had any foot pain since I've gotten past the break in period, which was only about a week.

Im a police officer on my feet all day. Sufferred from Planter fascitius and a sore hip after long drives I missed 9 days of work due to this. I tried these figuring I had nothing to lose....WOW..the hip pain went away in three days . I noticed an immediate improvement in my leg and back pain. I go home from work with a bounce in my step that I didnt have before. I havent had the planter fascitius in over one year. I wear these every day. A little painful in the begginning but after a few weeks you dont notice it. Besides the pain in my back and legs went away so they work great. Best thing I ever bought

The product is no better than what can be purchased on the footcare aisle at the local discount store. The concern here is that the company, once in possession of your credit card info, enrolls you in a series of subscriptions for vitamins and foot creams. The "letter" they supposedly sent to inform me of this was not in my package and calls to correct the matter have gone unresolved. My bank opened an investigation and concluded that they had made unauthorized charges against my account and the USPS is evaluating charges against them. Beware!

This product is for those people who have sore arches. It comes in three height sizes. It is firm, but it is designed that way. The directions need to be followed...limiting use first few days. I went to physical therapy and was told they were what I needed. Give them a try. $20 plus shipping is cheaper than other foot orthotics offered on tv through a specific foot store.

I'm glad to see a website dedicated to expose all the scams being peddled out there in TV land. With respect to the Walk Fit inserts. I bought them a few years ago. While it is true you do feel a difference in the way you walk, that difference feels more like a discomfort in the arch of your foot. I followed their suggestions and even tried different shoes. No go, might as well buy shoes with arch support. They are cheaper and work better than these inserts. Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage!

we bought 2 and they were very painful to wear. we wore them like they said a little at a time.my girlfriend actually hurt her back so we sent them back and had to pay for the S&H which by far pays for there product with a healthy profit!! Think twice before you buy!!

My feet were always sore. My Doctor examined my feet and told me that I needed arch support. He gave me a RX for orthonics but said they were expensive, so I should try off the shelf items first. None of these worked so I tried Walkfit. Wow! This is the best product I ever bought from an Infomercial. They work.

I'm surprised that so many people had problems with their inserts. I've been wearing mine for almost 2 years, and my foot/leg pain is pretty much gone, except for a few occasional aches. My only complaints are: 1--They are not as durable as they appear in the commercial. The heels of mine began cracking after less than a year of normal wearing. Forget rolling over it with that steamroller. 2--My feet got so dependent on that arch support that now my feet hurt just walking around in socks. Overall, I love mine, but I'm sick of having to replace them every 9 months.

I run every day and started getting really bad shin splints. I don't wear these all the time, but when I wear them for running I don't get shin splints. The first time I put them in, the pain from the splints went away almost immediately- it was really weird!

8/13/2007 - Stephen of New York, USA writes:
I agree with Carol, the person above. These work well if you have Plantar Facitus, just give them some time. They are supposed to be hard, that is what gives your arch the support! You will not even feel them after a while. I can now also remove them for extended periods, this tells me my problem is much less severe than it was. The doctor suggested orthotics, I saw these in [], and I am glad I saved a bunch of money over the custom ones.

I purchased this product in early November last year for my wife. She tried it for less than half and hour because it hurt her foot. That pain lasted for days. The product itself arrived in a thin plastic bag that was crammed full of their junk and them plastered together with boxing tape. Buyer, beware. Getting our money back and getting them to stop charging our card has STILL not been concluded, and it is 3 months later.
