I love this product. Sure, I have to use a bit of strength to chop an onion, but with one good push half an onion is chopped. It takes a fraction of the time. Most things I chop are handled very well.

This did a very acceptable job on peppers (quartered), mushrooms, plum tomatoes (a little squishy, but not too bad), broccoli florets, and cauliflower. It wasn't overly hard to press down, but I haven't tried it with something as large as half an onion. I did try the "dicing" blade with a few garlic cloves and they were not nearly small enough for what I needed. Also, the little cleaning tool works OK, but I still had to pick out some pieces of yellow pepper from the grid on the lid even after a spin in the dishwasher. I will not say that this has forever replaced my cutting board, but it's not a bad little product as long as the sizes it can cut vegetables to work for what you're doing.

I found this to be a waste of my money. I had to quarter the onions before placing them in the chopper and then it took all my strength to use it.

I thought Vidalia Chop was the answer to our problems in the kitchen. But it was not. In fact, it adds to our problem. I had to use my entire muscle with the chopper just to cut through a thin green pepper.

My husband have a ministry for At-Risk Girls (boarding home). The girls urged me to purchased the ChopWizard after watching the commercial many times. We finally ordered it and, with much anticipation, waited 5 weeks to receive it! It looked bigger and easier to use on TV! Soft items like strawberries, mushrooms and eggs work very well, however, chopping peppers (red and green) and onions can be difficult. I had to slam the top down and use my fist to get it to close and chop. It is more difficult to clean than expected. The bits of food get stuck on the chopping lid grooves. It is a nice gadget to have, but not as great as we thought it would be.

You can't put the entire onion like they show on TV. I find it easier to use if I cut it in quarters. The same for the Green pepper. I do have to use a lot of force for it to cut through the onion. Once I get pass that, the outcome is pretty good. Little bits and pieces.

My MIL gave us this for christmas and I thought it would be like most of her kitchen gimmicks. It's not! It really works for things that are the right consistency. Too hard and too soft will either break your arms or the device and too soft just gums it up. It is useful when you have lots of chopping to do and want uniformity. It's more work to clean up than it is worth on small jobs.

Very disappointing. I have to apply the entire weight of my body with the chopper on the floor to cut through 1/2 of a fresh onion. It is easier to do the chopping with a knife.

My mother n law gave me one of these, and I absolutely love it. It is a big time save. the only thing I found is the container isn't big enough if your doing a lot of chopping.

I found this product to be a great time saver. It works well with everything I've tried on it - but do note what other people said about the size of what you're putting in it. I generally cut things in fourths or so before I put it in the chopper. The bigger the piece, the harder you have to push to get it to cut. It also cleans up well, but I don't have a dishwasher so it has been a little difficult to get the blades completely clean. I think in a dishwasher, this would not be a problem. I have bought several as gifts and people always love it.

I'm on my second one. The only flaw, as I see it, is that I wish the clear container had more reinforcement by the ears where the top attaches. I broke a corner off because I put something too big or hard into it. I slice onions first. Wham, their diced! Peppers go great. Carrots work also if you just cut them the long way first and don't try to put something to big in it. Other than that it works great. Absolutely the best kitchen gadget I've seen in years.

I make fresh pizzas at work in front of our customers. I use the chopper mostly for onions & green peppers to top the pizzas. The small dice blade makes nice size pieces for topping use. It speeds my prep time & cleaning is easy. So many people have seen me use it & ask where to get one I can only imagine how many bought one.

It took me a couple of tries to master it, but I think it actually works really well, especially for softer veggies like zucchini, onion, bell peppers. Not so great for me with carrots! Try adjusting the placement of veggies until you master it.

Pros: It does make chopping easier and quicker. I've used it for onions, tomatoes, peppers, pecans halfs, cheese, bacon and other things. The oily and sticky things make clean up more difficult, otherwise it's pretty easy. I do use it and like it. Cons: After three months of use an "ear" broke off the lower container. Information on replacement parts is not readily available.

I recently bought and tried the Chop Wizard. You need to be a Body Builder to use it! I'm not kidding,There is no way I could get anything chopped.I want it for vegetables mainly, and I can't get enough strength to push it down . I'm returning it.

This product worked as shown on the television. The only trouble I had was with a tomato. It squashed it to pieces. Other than that, I will be happy to use this product for chopping other vegetables. Its very easy to use and easy to clean.

If I had to chose one kitchen tool, this would be it!! Reduces vegetable chopping time to a few minutes - especially love uniform onion chopping (no smelly hands and no danger of cuts). Have used it several times for carrots, celery and onions in crockpot stews and soups and for misc. veggies in salads and skillet meals.

Bought mine at [] so there was no wait. I use it to chop fruit for my daughter. It cleans up pretty easy with the tool they include and it is much better than the Quick Chop.

I chop extra onion now and have a container in the "fridge" on hand at all times. I love this chopper. The chopper cleans easily and makes quick work of onion chopping now, and I use at least 1 onion every other day.
