I love this product

I love this workout. It was fun to do, I love the music! I was sore the next day in places that I didn't knew existed on my body. I'm a big girl and I could to this work out. I would recommend that you dont over to do it the first couple times you this workout, they have other people you can follow until you feel comfortable in kicking it up a notch.

Killer workout

I have been jamming for a month now. It works out my huge stomach, legs and bums.And lost 10kg. The music is excellent and Charlene keeps on motivating you. You don't even have to kick that high. Think for your body , do according to your ability. You will built strenghth gradually. Her Learn and Burn is great. In that way you know excactly what you doing and get a chance to burn in the process.Get you Turbo Jam and start removing weight.

Fun, effective, addictive

I have all the Turbo Jam DVDs. They're all good-to-great, so you can't go wrong. I've been using the tapes nearly two years, and I'm still addicted. After dropping from a size 12 to a 2-4, I've only lost about 10 pounds, so people, forget the scale and go by how you feel and look! Muscle weighs more than fat, but it sure looks better.

Good Workout

I tried the Turbo Sculpt on demand with my cable company. The woman's energy was great! She was very upbeat without being annoying. (I actually had to smile when she started talking to her shoulders. lol.) The rest of the people I didn't really like though. They smiled too much, like they were posing for a picture the entire time. Ick. Irritating. The workout itself is TOUGH! Most of the time she has you standing sort of like you're stradeling a horse which works your thieghs tremendously. Added to that you're lifting weights, and I had to pause every 10 minutes at least. (But that's the beauty of working out at home, you don't have to be embarrassed when you can't keep up, right?) The whole "Shaking It" thing she does is also irriting. (Plus, in the stance she has you standing in, shaking it is killer on the knee's and I do have a slight knee problem.) But the shaking is optional. If I don't shake it, she won't know, and the workout is just as good without it. But overall, this is the best workout video I've ever tried. It's a greuling slave driving workout, with a fun upbeat host that keeps you coming back. And that's how you get results.

Been Jamming for Two Years!

I have been doing turbo jam for two years and I am in the best shape ever! The cardio workouts are so intense and fun. They will make even the most fit person feel the burn. Also make sure you try the toning supplements like Chalen's 3T video, which is strength training with resistance bands.

I bought Turbo Jam about a year ago and never really got into it. But, I recently decided to give it a try and I am enjoying it. I have been doing it religiously for three weeks. I have not lost much weight, but I have lost 1 1/2 inches around my waist. I have been alternating the 20 minutes Ab Jam and 20 minute Cardio Jam every other day. It doesn't give me that overwhelming feeling of having to do an hour a day workout, so the 20 minutes feels good for now. I plan on bumping up to the longer workouts in the next few weeks. So far, so good. If anyone has any pointers as to how to actually lose weight, let me know.

4 weeks and counting!

I really like these videos. Somehow I feel more motivated to keep going with this, partly because the exercisers look like they are having fun. I love all the twisty stuff, it just feels good, plus all the punching is nice on days when you're stressed you can really get aggressive with it. I've done it for 4 weeks now, following the advanced program. I've lost 2 pounds and an inch off my hips and 1 inch off my waist. I could probably be eating better to lose more weight but I'm working on that. I feel more energetic to run after my kids and I know I'm a lot stronger. Anyway, I really like this. I would like to get Cardio party 2 or 3 because I get a little bored halfway into Cardioparty1 but love the other ones I have(abjam, 20min,learn and burn, turbosculpt) I recommend this as a feel good work out.

Loved it, but had to stop

Chalene's energy is fun-loving and it's easy to stay motivated with her program. I did have to stop when even after using proper form, my knees started to hurt. I don't usually have a problem with my knees. When I felt better I started up again, and same thing happened. Finally figured out when using weights and 'shaking it' that it was causing my knees to hurt. Tried using the weights without dancing and felt like I was missing out.

Turbo Jam does work

4th day and feeling pretty motivated. I've purchased all Charlene's dvds because either I'll love the product but will need to switch dvds and workouts to keep from getting bored or I'd hate them and send them all back. So far I've tried the Learn&burn, T-Jam 20 min, Cardio Party, Ab Jam, L-body sculpt, and 3T. The 1st day I thought there'd be no way I could keep up so I tried the less energetic ones for two days and then today I felt more energized from either healthier eating or maybe working out but I had enough energy to get through the cardio party. After each day I've felt satisfyingly sore in my abs, legs, and sides. Those are my target areas and although I haven't lost any weight just yet I feel confident that these workout will help me achieve my swimsuit goals.

I'm still Turbo Jamming after a year!

I purchased this product in May, 2006 with every intention of returning it. I really didn't think that I'd like it or it would work for me. I noticed immediately that I had more energy during the day. I would recommend practicing with the Learn & Burn program at least two to three times before moving on to the other workouts because this workout really focuses on form. This product has helped me loose 80 pounds after the birth of my son in January, 2006. In fact, I weight less now than I did when I got pregnant with him. I have tried other workouts, but I keep returning to Turbo Jam. There are low impact options shown if you don't like to jump or have difficulty with joint pain. I highly recommend this workout to anyone serious about improving their health and well being!

It's Working for Me

I started Turbo Jam about 3 weeks ago. Did the Turbo Slim and followed the diet and workouts as they have them on the guide. I lost 6 lbs and 6 inches in the first 10 days. This is the only workout product I've ever stuck with this long -yeah 3 weeks isn't that long, but it's because I saw results. It's hard work, you'll sweat for sure, but it's fun and worth it. I'm starting to see real definiton in my muscles too. I work out 6 days a week and do the ab jam every day. I don't take the 2 rest days like the guide says. Maybe after I'm out of weight loss mode I'll do that.

Still Using It

I purchased Turbo Jam about two years ago. I love the orignal 5 (really 4 once you learn the moves) workouts and still use them. However, I love variety so I bought a couple more packages of workouts. Now I have tons of workouts to suit my mood. The Fat Burner (interval) workout is great for teaching the body to recover. All the sculpting workouts really help you work muscles to exhaustion. Plus all the Dance Parties (I think I have 4 now) are a great way to mix up the cardio. Along with a portion controlled diet, I have lost over 20 lbs, plus about 17 inches and am motivated to keep going.

it's decent

I got turbo jam 5 workouts on one dvd about 3 weeks ago.i got the dvd set because of the 3 20 min workouts on it(l and b, 20 min, and ab jam). since i have a 3 month old and a 3 yr old it is hard for me to find a whole hour to work out. i started with the learn and burn( did that fr 3 days to learn it), then moved onto the 20 min workout after i got the learn and burn. now for 2 weeks i have been doing the 20 minute cardio in the am and the ab jam in the am. then in the afternoon during the kids nap i do the 40 minute cardio on M,W,F and the turbo sculpt on T,TH. So i am really using the dvd. I have 65 pounds of baby weight to lose. I have gained 2 pounds since starting turbo jam. It must be muscle weight. the workouts do make me sweat and they are more fun than most dvd's. its still hard to get my butt up and actaully get motivated. charlene isnt as annoying as most work out ppl on dvd. so that is good. i dont want to beat her every time i work out. I am sore in some places. I just wish that for all of my effort, that i would be seeing results by now. I do eat right so its not like i eat little debbie cakes and all. my only real problem with the workouts is that they can be very hard on my knees, even when i go low impact. i can see where someone could easily hurt themselves with all the twists etc.

Love to Turbo

I purchased this product a year ago when I was at my lowest point. I quit smoking and gained 30 pounds over 3 years. I started doing Turbo Jam in April 2006 and lost 17 pounds by mid summer. For some reason I took the rest of the summer off and by Christamas had gained 10 pounds back. In January/07 I started again and am down to the weight I was before I quit smoking. Chalene is so motivational and keeps it fun. You just have to mix up the videos. don't always do the same one. And always eat properly. At least 3 of my friends are now doing Turbo Jam after seeing my results!!!! Thinner now

It does work

I tried Turbo Jam because it looked like fun and I had reached yet another plateau in my weight loss. When the package arrived, I was a little disappointed at how little it was, but decided to try it out anyway. I ended up losing (in 10 days) 8 inches overall and 3 inches in my waist. I was really blown away by that. The routines are a little hard to master at first and then the routines get a little boring, but the product really does work if you stick with it. I've been doing it for about a month now and I've lost 7 pounds total. I'm thinking about buying hip hop abs now to mix it up a bit or buy the other turbo jam dvds.

I've stuck with it

I"ve tried other devices to get myself up off the couch with the only result being an upset wife over a wasted purchase. I don't know if it is the music or the way Chalene makes it seem like fun, but I do get up 5 days a week and do the cardio workout. I have lost some weight but better for me as a 60 year old is that I have gained flexibility and strength as I have stuck with it for 9 months and counting. It has even helped my golf game.

Works Wonders!

I really enjoyed this product and think it works great! I used to before my wedding and was slightly overweight. Although I did not drop the pounds, this video was amazing at toning. I found definition in muscles that I never was able to get definition from in regular exercises. (I followed the recommended program to a "T" but did not follow the recommended diet.) It is also a lot of fun and I didn't dread doing it. I also felt very energized afterwards and found energy I didn't realize I had. One thing to keep in mind though is that this may be hard for people who are completely out of shape. My mom wanted to try it but was not able to start even the beginner exercises because it was too hard for her.
