Paint is chipping off & I'm afraid I'm burning my hair!!!! What a ripoff. I'll NEVER buy another product from infomercial. Only from professional salons. $120 isn't something I can waste.

Absolutely do not buy this product. It is a scam and the product, although seemingly awesome at first, will eventually break and/or chip and/or burn your hair. Do a Google search on this product and you will find other websites that will show the NUMEROUS complaints on this horrible product. The original marketer of this product has dropped selling this product and many many many many people have been left with defective, non-working products for $130. Others that have returned them within the 30-day trial period have not been sent refunds. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Do not waste your money. The so called ceramic plates start chipping after the first few uses and after about 4 months it stops working completely. Wish I knew then what I know now.

I could kick myself for buying this product! First of all, I could swear that the TCP I was sent was refurbished. It had scuffs on it right out of the box. It did straighten my hair like no other--fast! Loved it, until it stopped working after about 6 months. It just shorted out once, when I desperately needed it. I was able to get it back by straightening out the cord, but a month later it died for good. Don't waste your time unless you have money to burn. Get a Chi instead.

This flat iron only works for as long as the 30 day guarentee. They don't give your money back and your stuck with a flat iron that doesn't work. The first one they sent me wasn't even ceramic. They sent a replacement flat iron and the pant wore off of it too. At least it look ceramic under the red paint. Then they said they would send a replacement and instead the co. phone # isn't any good and you can't get a hold of anyone to help resolve the problem. Also after about the 3rd mo. the power on the flat iron goes on and off while trying to use it. What a rip off!!

Do not buy this product! I wish I knew then what I know now. I have very curly hair and nothing worked except this product. I was in love with it until 2months later the "true ceramic" paint came off and then as I was getting ready for a special occassion, it stopped working. I had only had it for 4 months. The web site is gone so I can't contact anyone, but I have been told "don't bother" because they won't refund the money. I am so dissapointed. $120 dollars down the drain.

Don't waste your money on this product. Plate starts chipping right away only works for a few months do yourself a favor and shop for a different product. It's a rip off buying this product

I did not believe this product would work like it said when I saw the infomercial. I ordered one and it was absolutely wonderful. A couple of months later, I ordered another one because I could not see myself without one just in case something happened to the original one. However, the second one was defective. The red coating began to flake off to reveal the metal underneath. I have waited for them to remedy this defect. I would still buy another one if I can get one without the defects.
I simply love it!!

I loved the trueceramic pro and felt like it did wonders on my hair. It really did its job just like the infomercial said it would. It straightens, flips, and curls! And stays that way until your next shampoo. Although when I recieved my first TCP,the pain started to chip off but still did great on my hair. So I ordered another one and the second one so far it is better than the first. You have to really read directions when you start using it though. You always have to start it at the lowest temperature before you get to the next. And don't forget to adjust the heat settings that is right for your hair. VERY IMPORTANT!! That is why you end up getting burns on your hair. I have wavy thick hair so I have been using this for 6 months so far. And I have the same wonderful results each time.

This has been the best Valentine (2005) gift my husband has ever gotten me! I love this product. My hair is thick and coarse, and with this product, my hair comes out soft and silky. I use it everyday, and I no longer need any hair products such as hairspray or gel. Nothing I've tried has ever left my hair so beautiful. I've been using this product for over a year, and plan on buying another if it ever breaks!

My True Ceramic Pro quit working after 6 mo. It won't even turn on! Not to mention the fact that the "ceramic" finish is coming off. The website is no longer available, so no way to contact anyone. Besides, they will just say that it is no longer under warranty! For $120.00 it should be working for a long time. My daughter's $19.99 Conair is still working after 2 years. I only used the product once a week so it's not like I burned it up! I feel "SCAM'd"

This product is NOT real ceramic plates! The paint will chip off and then damage your hair! The company is very difficut to deal with about refunds. Save your time & buy something else!

They state “The baked ceramic plates in the TrueCeramicPro are extremely durable” but in two months the red “paint” started chipping off, exposing bare metal. They state “Traditional metal heating systems dry out, damage and cause premature color fade” and yet this is exactly what their product does. The only thing that saved me was that it quit working after 3 months. When I went to my hair dresser she asked me what I had been doing to my hair, it was dry and burned and she had to remove two inches. Don’t ruin your hair with this product.

I tried this product out on the 30 day trial for $14.99 before i was going to buy it, i'm glad i did just that. The red ceramic coating started coming off in my hair on the second day of use! I did like the way it made my hair feel but was disappointed about the coating stuff coming off. I returned certified mail and then received a notice from some collection agency saying i owed the company the full 119.00! I called them and told them i sent it back and of course they wanted proof, i had the card where a person signed for it and never heard from them again!
This is a bad product and the company lies

This product took off 5inches off my hair. Then when I sent it back for a refund. They gave me the run around Now I'm still waiting to get the money but the last customer service rep told me I would receive my refund in 72 hours. Wow, I must say I have had the Greatest experience with this product. I've been a licensed Hair Stylist for 23+ years and an Instructor. I've used my iron in the Salon for months and have Never had any paint chip off. I've had it for over a year and it saved my hair!

I was very excited to receive this product and it worked great for the first 2 months or so. Now the red paint from the ceramic plates is peeling off and the whole thing seems to be falling apart. I would recommend buying a flat iron from a hair salon that knows the performance of their product.

Please save your money. Do not purchase this product. After my 1st use of this product-the red coating came off and started burning my hair! This by the way was after waiting 5 weeks to receive it! I have paid $159 for a product that I cannot use. As a mother of a new borm baby- every dollar counts! Save your time-frustration and money!

I purchased this product and about a week to two weeks after the paint starting peeling off the so called cermaic plates! I tried on numerous occasions to contact company, by phone and by e-mail and I could not get anyone when I finally did they told me it was after the thirty days and I would not get a refund, the product is garbage and I will not buy ANYTHING from this company again
