KTrepeates the same information that is available in magazaines, etc. He does not mention injections. He ships 2 other books that I did not ask for. Because I asked for express shipment, all 3 books came with the express shipping rate. It has been over 2 months, I have not seen a cent of my guaranteed refund less over half being shipping charges. The company claims the book has not been received in its corporate shipping facility. I have been tracking it as a lost package. By the time I find the book and ship it back with delivery confirmation, etc., I will have recovered about 1/2 the refund. By the way, the book is at [] for $17, more or less. A rip-off.

My name is Dana and I tried to use this product to shed baby weight. When I called in and asked about it first the receptionist assured me I can use this book and keep breastfeeding my child, stop breastfeeding was not an option. When I got this book and started reading about all the chemicals I would have to inject into my body I was furious, because I asked before I bought and they lied, if they did not know they should have redirected me. I am a single parent of 2 in the USN I do not have time for people playing with my money. They wouldn't even give me a full refund and this has almost been about 2mts and haven't seen a dime. I want my money.

I think what people are forgetting is that Trudeau is right about the politics and economics behind keeping people fat. We still operate in an inherited and dysfunctional economic model that suggest we have to keep people poor, fat, stupid, and dependent in order to create wealth. The needs of all are not met. So clearly there's room for someone to win another Nobel Prize in Economics coming up with a few new ideas for economic models. However, I don't think it's a conspiracy in the way he presents it. Some of it is, sure. But sometimes, chemicals and toxins are injected and the food companies don't know the long-term effects. Other times, as crazy as it sounds, people in drug companies sometimes really do think that they're just trying to help for the greater good. And maybe they are? In any case, I applaud anyone who brings to public discussion the point that social stratification does exist and the tools used by the elite to "keep people in their place" are, in fact, quite complex and they take a while to understand. That being said, Trudeau I think came to a point in his life and realized this and decided to exploit the heck out of it. Read the reviews. The writing is scattered and really does read like a cheesy motivational speaker who has ADD. You have to wait until you get to p. 73 until he actually starts to give any real advice. And a lot of that advice even is widely promoted in a lot of health magazines, so, yes, a lot of it has something to it. Yerba Mate tea, probiotics, yoga -- yep, it's all good, hard to argue with that! And in the end, the only way to tell if it really works for you and your unique situation is just to experiment. But if there was one thing I could tell overweight America it would be this. Look, you're stressed, anxious, and desperate. Marketers know this and will exploit you until you cry if you let them. They know you're thinking more with emotions than with logic. Try to think for yourself. The first step to learning how to lose weight is just knowing how to relax and know that you are loved. Find a group of friends who can help you lose the weight and make it fun with proper eating, exercise, and mental conditioning.

Mr. Trudeau has put out a fantastic product. I enjoyed this book and his other two. Had no issues with timeliness of product shippment. I believe what Mr. Trudeau has to say simply because so many government agencies are trying to discredit him. The information is easy to understand and easy to comply with. The only thing I dislike about his book(s) is that he repeats alot of the information about his fight with the government. Sometimes there is a lack of 'flow' in what he wrote, as if he gets lost in thought or loses his train of thought. One of the things I like is that Mr. Trudeau had the guts to write the books. I plan on trying the protocal ASAP. And, all the other stuff that he suggests in Phase 1 - these really are no-brainers. Clean oneself inside and out, taking in only clean/organic foods. The receipe for health and success. This is not extreamly expensive when one consideres how much time and money will be saved in doctor visits and proscription medications + OTC meds. By no longer purchasing fast food, to include that daily stop for coffee and a muffin, the KT way will not kill the wallet.

I am a part of a [] group right now that has over 540 members...all of which are planning to or are doing this exact protocol as we speak. Let me tell you that EVERY PERSON that's doing this is losing weight and losing the weight they want. Most are feeling wonderful and have more energy then they have in YEARS! To all of you that are posting that this is crap...if you were to actually TRY this diet, you'd be surprised. It's not impossible...the things he recommends for Phase 1 are not NECESSARY for it to work...just suggestions. hCG is not hard to find or to get in the USA, you just have to do your research. It's not even that expensive! I've found it for about $100 for the WHOLE treatment by a reputable pharmaceutical company that doesn't require a prescription. Don't knock it until you have tried it people!!

This injection is not "banned" it was simply not recommended by the FDA for use in weight loss. You can get it in the US and its legal. I ordered some yesterday. Cost is $350 for lab test, $150 r doctors interp fee, and $200 for 6 weeks of injections. I found many postings of people having good sucess. I email one person and she lost 38lbs in six weeks. I was told you are not hungry so sticking to the 500 cal a day is easy. Total cost is $600. That may be out of reach for minimum wage workers. If this works it will be well worth it. Because I have wasted so much more money on hydroxycut, weight watchers, jenny craig, rapid slim, hoodia gordoni, atkins, just to name a few over the last two years only to continue weighing 207 and be 5'3". Hard to believe the ratings on this site from people who have not even tried the program.

Wish I'd reviewed this one before purchase! Will cost more to return the book than to keep it. I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, osteoarthritus, depression, & other autoimmune disorders. Weight loss would improve my energy level and health. I bought the book hoping for "the secret". Who can afford the cost of supplements, colonics, human growth hormone shots, etc. This is the last time I will be suckered in by Mr. Trudeau. Shame on me for being fooled again by the "sincere" presentations on TV. Don't buy this book unless you are prepared to pay hundreds, perhaps thousands, to lose weight. Don't be fooled by the money back promise - you will barely break even. We are all looking for answers. Mr. trudeau is after my money and he uses my hopeful attitude to sucker me in. Yep, I'm an idiot -but, this is the last time I will be taken by this wolf in sheep's clothing.

I have listened to the informericals/was hoping they were true.I have been diagnosed with PCOS/Insulin Resist. Both were the said reasons for my weight prob. The Dr.'s talked me into trying 3 med's .The problem would be solved? I have been taking them for 4 yrs & I've gained more weight. Years ago, I never took any med's, & I was NEVER SICK. IF I gained weight,a little diet/exercise would whip me back into shape. Now, since taking the meds, I am in the worse shape ever! I diet & exercise daily. (There's no reason for me to be heavy). I always feel like I have the flu/sick now also since taking med's. I was hoping it was true.(I ordered the book,a free offer,I only had to pay S&H. But, I NEVER GOT IT! Who knows? I was hoping for something to give me HOPE!

Well. This book is about an inch thick and took me all of about 15-20mminutes to read, thats because this guy just paraphrases and repeats the exact same stuff litterally over and over and over again. I had to keep skimming pages to find new information! The protocol, scares me. I mean it would take so much time and money to complete, and impossible to find the hcg. Also, it says at the end in faqs, not to do it if im veg. apparently if i dont eat meat, it wont work, so waste of my time. but honestly, if you go to the store and see the book, the only useful info is three letters, hcg, just google that and you can find all the info for free.

I am so tired of all the cynical people in the world. This book is very good. It states exactly how to engage in the rapid weight loss protocol and it takes a little research but you CAN do it here in the US, you just need to LOOK and want to lose weight. How many other books on weight loss have you bought? I have read this book, made several of the recommended changes and lost weight. I even found the HCG products with relative ease. Ease up on Mr. Trudeau, he's got something here and furthermore, he has the courage to say it. Highly recommended.

4/5/2007 - Kim of Maine, USA writes:
A waste of money!! Other than a particular shot. KT doesn't tell you anything different than the diet industry. I would trust the medical and nutritional community before this con-artist, who is making alot of money off of his books. KT is not any different than the "corporate" companies he claims are out just to make money at your expense.

4/1/2007 - Audrey of New Hampshire, USA writes:
The book identifies a substance that is banned for treating obesity in this country. He (Kevin) claims to have gont to Germany to get the product. If you look at the phase 2 diet of 500 calories plus this majic injection- ANYONE can lose weight. If this regime is supposed to cure the weight loss problem forever, then why does he say that you can repeat the process when you gain weight. This is another why for Mr. Trudeau to make a pile of money from desperate people looking to lose weight.

3/22/2007 - Jo-Dee of Georgia, USA writes:
I ordered this book, and just as the diet industry and food industry rips us off, so does KT. Not once in his infomercial does he mention the 45 injections of hCG you must take if you are to lose 30 pounds in 30 days, plus it is not FDA approved in the USA, so it's impossible to accomplish. He flew to Germany, got his prescript and flew back home. He can afford this because we overweight people funded it. You will reap what you sow, KT, one day God will settle this score. You should be ashamed of taking advantage of people that are hurting.

3/22/2007 - Jennifer of Georgia, USA writes:
My husband bought this book for me one day after he watched the infomercial. He knows I enjoy reading about health and weight loss, so of course he thought I'd enjoy this book. I was so excited to get it! Boy......were we both wrong! It would be great if we were millionaires and could afford all organic food or the daily injections of hcG, which are not even available in the U.S. for the treatment of weight loss! I can't believe this guy is marketing a book saying this is a "cure" for weight loss that anyone can do in your home! You have to go to another country to get the main ingredient! Don't waste your time or money!

3/11/2007 - Jen of Minnesota, USA writes:
What a joke! I am totally ticked that I wasted my money on this book. I got it because he said it was easy and I would have no problem doing it in the privacy of my home. All natural no pills, no gimmicks. Right!! Had he mentioned that I would need a prescription for something that most doctors won't even consider prescribing I never would have wasted my money on the book! Not to mention the 50 or more OTHER expensive things recommended. I am very disappointed and feel mislead.

3/5/2007 - Kaye of North Carolina, USA writes:
If you are rich and can afford what K T offers you can lose.In the book it tells you you have to eat all organic foods and take a lot of "Natural pills" and he gives you a meal plan. On TV K T plainly states no diets no pills no exercise. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. The only thing you are gonna lose is your money.
