I first purchased the Bean in December after seeing the info with instructor Lisa Kay who I like. When it came I was disappointed to find the video was not what was on TV. I called and was told it was on backorder. I tried the Bean and found it uncomfortable and did not stay inflated. In Jan I caught the info. on TV and saw they have a deluxe Bean. I returned The orginial(which I have yet to see a credit for)and got the Deluxe Model. It came with the Lisa Kay DVD but was not changed from the old model and no instructions on how to do the crunches. Do I lift my head up or not? I'm not going to return it because I do like the Back and lower body workout. I didn't feel it my abs. Maybe if they update the dvd to match the product it will be more effective.

I paid $49 for this. I had difficulty inflating it. The instructions aren't as clear as I would have liked. There are two inflation parts and the top one doesn't secure easily, hence why I probably didn't get the right workout. However, I did feel some tightness in my abs after trying it, so it could probably be quite useful. Its versatility is greater than a stability ball as they claim, but you can probably buy any inflatable chair that's comfortable and use it in the multiple ways they did. The eating plan and weight management guide has some useful goal setting forms. I don't have a great place to store it, and inflating and re-inflating would be too much of a hassle. Unfortunately, it will end up going back to the store.

I ordered the bean, and was just a little disapointed. The bean needs to be blown up every time I use it,even tho I have plugged it securely..ie it could be better constructed. I enjoy stretching my back on it, it feels very good, especially after stretching. My daughter tried it and said she didn't see any benefit for it, but she's not 50 yrs old! I'd recommend the Bean for anyone that wants to stretch their back, hips & legs. I didn't like the video, it's a video you can only stand watching once...or as a reminder for the types of exercises. It is very boring. I think I would order the Bean again, after trying it, because it feels so good to stretch one's back. But it is not an overall body exerciser as the TV infomercial pitches.

Easy to use and it works as described in the infomercial. Once you arre able to figure out the right amount of air to put in, it is a pleasure to use.

I found the Bean to be as easy on the back as the infomercial states. I could also feel the muscles tightening after doing the exercises as instructed. You do break a sweat and breathe hard, but you are not killing yourself while doing it. The only problem I noted was that I tend to slip a little and have to reposition myself at times. The darned thing is comfy though! I think it's definitely a worthwhile expense.

I purchased the Bean from a local store just to try it for my back pain instead of purchasing an expensive incline board. The first time I tried the two positions shown in their instructions for back relief, I could feel my vertebrae loosening up. Within two days, my back pain was greatly reduced, and is still improving. It feels like the "pressure" is gone. I am also pleased with how much more stable this is than an exercise "ball". I was afraid to use a ball, thinking I would slide or fall off and hurt myself! This is a gentle, yet very effective way to tone up (and relieve stress on your back while doing so). The product comes with a book and video, with clear and informative instructions. Well done! I love the fact that I can deflate it and take it with me when I travel. I just wish I could inflate it faster!
