Works Okay

This product somtimes works real good, but it does not not work on thick carpet, i still like easy light weight, i would recommended to people who have a thin carpet

Doesn't Work as Advertised!

3/17/2007 - Kenny of Massachusetts, USA writes:

This product works ok on rugs, of course it sounds like it is going to die when you hit the carpet. As far as the solid floor of tile and hardwood it STINKS! Does not pick up hair it just blows it around. This sweeper is a misrepresentation from the advertisement. The extremely high shipping costs basically is the only reason why one would not send this cheapo sweeper back. I can't say anything about the battery yet, it still works and I've used it about 4 times. I never write reviews about anything, I had to this time, to make myself feel better about a terrible purchase.

P.O.S DO NOT BUY!!

3/8/2007 - Grey of Florida, USA writes:

I bought this for my wife and while it worked ok for the first 2 times I noticed that it didn't pick up what they said it would. Now don't get me wrong, it did pick up some but it still left crap behind. The battery on it did not last but about a month. The only real work it produced was on carpet, but I have a real vaccuum for that. On hard floors you might have a problem with it picking up stuff. The only reason for 2 stars instead of one is for the carpet cleaning and the 2 hand brushes it came with that wrok nicely.

Not enough Power

3/1/2007 - Thomas of Ohio, USA writes:

I agree this is good for the small dry spills as they shown but for dog hair and for the time it is supposed to last does not coincide with what it actually does. For I have the Shark sweeper myself and it does alot better job at picking up dirt and dog hair and has a longer working time than does the swivel sweeper... My Kudos go to the Shark.

Don't waste your money

2/16/2007 - Juana of Idaho, USA writes:

It did work great for about 3 weeks and then would not sweep. Went back to the store and they gave me another one. Same thing happened. Starts to work and then stops. Do not waste your money.

A wonderful cleaner

2/15/2007 - Barbara of Idaho, USA writes:

It is a god send I love how it just gets in almost anywhere I don't have to move my furniture to clean under or around it. I follow the charging instructions for the battery and so far I have not had a problem with short battery life. I can clean for about 45 minuets on one charge. My handel has gotten a bit loose but I shored it up with duct tape and popcicle sticks. I have had it for 1 1/2 years and it still works great. You do have to empty it quiet often as the dirt trap is small but that is very easy to do. I love it and wouldn't think of parting with it.

Was surprised!

2/15/2007 - Kate of Ohio, USA writes:

We recently moved into a two story home and I wanted a quick sweeper so I wouldn't have to lug my vaccum up and downstairs to do quick clean up. I liked that it advertised getting into corners and along edges. We have 4 pugs and pet hair accumulates those areas. I really put this to the test recently, as we've had three weeks of freezing weather and our fireplace is going all the time. I pull this out to sweep up the small chips of wood. It has worked well. I use it for quick pick ups . . .and for that it works fine. Be sure not to over-charge the batteries. As long as you wait until they are depleted they will last . . .at least I've had not problem with it. I don't expect exceptional cleaning, but It's fine for a quick once-over and keeping traffic areas nice looking until I get around to deep cleaning.

Works well for me

2/11/2007 - Mary of North Carolina, USA writes:

I find this easier to clean with then a broom. I've had back surgery so it makes small cleaning jobs easier to handle. The bottom has to be snapped in well or your 'trash' will come back out. So far I haven't ran into any battery problems. If you catch the end of a frayed rug it has to be turned out right away or it can burn up easily. My mother proved that. But over all I like it but don't expect it to be like a heavy duty vaccuum. In between times it does very well. I'm satisfied with it.

1/28/2007 - Gary of California, USA writes:

I think this product is great. I bought it about two weeks ago. I use it for in betweens. I noticed the one guy wanting to vacuum a 2000 sq ft house this is not a heavy duty vacuum it is for in between vacuums small areas. I used it for my bathroom and kitchen which does not have carpet. Have not had any problem with the battery yet.

Perfect for Home and Work

1/26/2007 - Amy of Maryland, USA writes:

I bought two swivel sweepers about a month ago because I needed one for my apartment and one for work. They both work great! At home it picks up the dust from incense on hardwood floors and cleans the tiles and rugs in my bathrooms. It picks up kitty food, kitty litter, and other odds and ends with ease! I don't even have to pick anything up because the swivel just sweeps around everything. At work the swivel goes under my tables, desk, and chairs in my classrooms quickly without needing to plug in a cord into different sockets! The handheld sweeper that comes with it is perfect for picking up crumbs off a tabletop or debris left on couches!

Works great cleaning up after twins!

1/21/2007 - Shelby of Massachusetts, USA writes:

I use the swivel sweeper many times throughout the day. I have toddler twins who make a huge mess while eating. Somehow their cheerios end up all over my house. The SS is great at picking up thrown food on both carpet and hardwood. Sometimes if the cup if almost full it does require a few passes, but I'd rather use this than have to pull out my vacuum cleaner every 5 minutes. It passes effortless underneath and between the two highchairs. I found it very easy to clean as well. I thought it worked exactly as advertised.

sigh

1/21/2007 - Stephanie of Ohio, USA writes:

Tried this. Maybe mine is broken because all it seems to do is spit it all in different directions?? Now I just use it to scare the cats.

Works for me

1/20/2007 - Mary of Florida, USA writes:

I like it. It's great for a quick sweep around the kitchen, on little rugs, cleaning up dry coffee grounds accidents, etc. I don't like cleaning it: dog, cat, and my very long hair gets all twisted around the many, many bristles, but I'm surprised how often I can use it before having to empty/clean it. If I had kids, even little kids, I'd have one of these in every room for them to use. I bought mine at a local drug store on sale for $5.00 off. I thought of buying the two for one plus extra shipping from the infomercial (I think it's about $10.00 less than buying two in the store) but I didn't want to buy two until I tried it. Now that I have it, my place is small and the sweeper is so light that I don't need two.

Better than a vacuum cleaner

1/15/2007 - William of Ohio, USA writes:

Great all around sweeper. ++++ on cat hair, food and Misc. Better than any vacuum cleaner. Don't see how anyone could complain. First battery over a year old and still functioning.

GREAT GADGET

1/14/2007 - Brenda of Virginia, USA writes:

This little sweeper is great for all the little stuff. It is a great picker upper around the house. I have not had a problem with the battery as I did the 20 hrs initial charge and only charge the batter when it is completely dead. The down side is the handle was made unsturdy, so be gentle.

Love the Swivel Sweeper

1/13/2007 - Gale of Georgia, USA writes:

My sister, daughter, and 2 of my friends own this. Perfect for busy moms and those with arthritis or back problems. It easily picks up cat hair from floors and carpets. It's small dust tray is easy to remove and rinse under the faucet. It's easy to put back on. The battery works quite awhile on a charge; it's easy to remove the battery and use the recharger that comes with the sweeper. The sweeper reaches under and around things that a regular-sized vacuum simply can't reach without moving furniture. Although not meant to replace a regular vacuum for whole-house cleaning, I often use it to zip through my whole house as a touch up. I've had mine about 8 months, and it works perfectly all the time. I highly recommend it for what it was designed to do.

Waste of time and money

1/13/2007 - Kim of North Carolina, USA writes:

I bought this sweeper in Sep. As usual things never work as well as they do on tv...I DID charge the battery for the recommended time before using HOWEVER still experienced the dead battery syndrome. I think a class action lawsuit has merit with this product. The complaints are very wide spread and over essentially the same issue.
