I bought the Swivel Sweeper for my husband who is a vacuum-aholic. Every time he uses it, he says how awesome it is. We have a house without a lot of rugs or carpets, and it's so quick and easy to grab it and run through the house in no time.

What a waste of money. I used it on my hardwood & tile floors. It just blew the dust, etc. around & doesn't pick up. Sorry I bought it.

I was just sure this was going to work as advertised. I was so impressed with the infomercials. I picked it up at a local store and couldn't wait to use it. Once it charged, I made a quick sweep through my living room. Great, but it ran out of juice fast. That was the end of great. I charged it up again (always as the directions stated) and it never powered up again. Maybe a little dribble here and there but not enough to turn the brush rollers. What a waste. I tossed the whole thing in the garbage...best feeling I've had in awhile. I hope I can save others from the mistake I made

For the price, it's not bad. Good for quick sweep ups of the kitchen floor and running around the living room when company is coming and I have no time for a real vacuuming. My complaint is that replacement parts (I needed three) have their own s/h charges each and you can end up paying more than what you paid for the machine itself. Get another one at a department store and parts it out instead so you can have two batteries to shift back and forth. I keep a cleaner in the litter box room and it's good for picking up cat litter the cats kick out of the box. By no means a replacement for a full-size vacuum. I have very plush carpet and it doesn't run well on that.

I first saw this Swivel Sweeper on an infomercial, but like all infomercial products I never purchase them over the phone. A month ago I saw this same product in my local drug store [], who frequently carries "As seen on TV" products, so I decided to give it a try. I can say it does not clean anywhere near what you see on the Infomercial, in fact it didn't even clean my rugs (ended up using my vacuum) and the rechargeable battery can't even hold a charge it's so cheap. In my opinion, this product is a piece of junk and if I had rate the value of this product, at best I would say it was wroth $2.99. Why? Because you might be able to pull the motor out and actually find something to use for if you're a hobbyists. Fortunately I got my money back when I returned the product to the store for a refund, which as why (as mentioned above) I don't buy products on TV and wait until there in-store. I will offer praise to [] who promptly refunded my money, but shame on the company that makes this horrible product.

I purchased my sweeper about seven months ago and was fairly satisfied with it, bearing in mind that ads often are biased. It works well on floors and short (i.e. outdoor) carpets. Now the battery...it slowly went "south" and now will run barely 3-4 minutes. A replacement battery costs $14.99 plus shipping (+/- $6.00), but I was satisfied enough with the sweeper that I just ordered two more, since for a few dollars more you can get the whole sweeper, with batteries, for a few dollard more. If not for the battery, I'd give it a 4-5.

I recently bought this product and I absolutely love it. It works great on my hardwood floors. It's so easy and fun to use because of its light weight, incredible maneuverability, and the fact that it can turn sideways for getting into tight places. It glides around so fast that you're finished before you know it. I used to use a Dust Buster for quick clean-ups but this is so much easier on my back. It even does pretty well on my carpets although I wouldn't use it on them for overall cleaning on a regular basis. The Swivel Sweeper is the perfect back-up vacuum to have on hand for quick vacuuming. It's fast and fun. I have actually looked for things to be on my floor so that I can use it again. It's that fun to use. My floors are probably going to be in much better shape because of it since I am vacuuming several times with it in between the weekly general cleaning. FYI, I keep it handy in my garage right next to the outlet that charges the battery. Also, In case you don't want to buy tow of them, I got mine at a [] with one of their $5.00 off coupons and ended up paying $29.99.

I just got this, tried to put it together and one of the flimsy pieces broke off in another, now there are wires hanging out, completely useless. Called to get refund info, this thing is a very cheap 'made in China' product, do not waste your money. I told them I didn't want another shipped to me. Rip off on shipping too. Took 3 weeks to get here, for $15 shipping!

Ok, so I have a huge house with hardwood, carpet and tile. I followed directions and charged the battery accordingly. And it worked great. It doesnt compare to my "normal push pull" vacume but thats just it. It is an alternative to "sweeping" not vacuming. It picks up a lot, every little strand no but most of it. My sister had one, and i didnt know, and she said she loved it at first then the battery starts to loose its life and you end up with a battery life of like one room. Mine is pretty new so Im good for now but the product isnt terrible or a scam. It does a better job then most women with a broom and never ending dustpan line. Sure I use it about twice a week just to keep my floors looking clean but you need to definately get in there with the vacume and deep clean everything once a month or so. It does swivel into small areas, I dont have to move furniture out of the way, it sucks stuff up sideways, but the thing is so darn light that I bang it into the furniture and baseboards (made cheaply..yeah ok) it is a good $35 investment to decrease the amount of housework in the end. The bristles do get tangled up with hair (long human hair) and they provide you will a desticher (a little tool we seamstress' use to de-tread stiches on a garmet) this tells me that the company knows that the item has problems. THe problem being it suck up hair and the bristles get wound up with hair and needs to be de-haired often (I would say after 3 uses to keep your machine at its best) those people saying it didnt work the first time are liars and just didnt charge it correctly and didnt bother to clean and maintain the machine. SO in conclusion, I would buy it again even tho I can see its slight faults, but in a house with lots of square footage it is cool to have to suck up those obvious dust bunnies and stuff. Also makes cleaning the stairs a lot easier.

I was hesitant to buy the Swivel Sweeper at first, because it just looked "too good to be true." But a friend told me I'd LOVE IT, so I went ahead and went for their "buy one get one free" deal. And I don't regret a thing! I gave one to my Mom, and she loves hers too. Works great for cat hair and picking up kitty litter, among many many other things. One of the few "as seen on TV" products that really works and is NOT a scam.

Junk!! Worked for a day and then doesn't hold a charge longer than a minute. Don't waste your money. No one calls you back from the company.

The swivel sweeper is nothing but a rip off. You can't send it back because the shipping is so high. I got 2 swivel sweepers( on line) for $19.99 each and $29.00 shipping and handeling for a total of $69.00.This is the TV special. You don't realize the total shipping cost until after buying the product. I gave one to a friend and I used the other one. It doesn't pick up well at all and the little hand sweeper is totaly useless. What a scam! Someone is getting rich!

I purchased this sweeper after using several other types that did not work for me, including the Shark. I use it daily on my carpeting and tile floor and it works great. I can't believe the dust and cat hair that it picks up every day!! When the container gets full or sometimes close to full, it will spit out some of the contents back onto the rug/floor. Just make sure that you empty it after every sweep as well as keep the rollers clean with the tool that they provide. I rate it as the best portable sweeper that is out there today.

I purchased this from the TV over 1 1/2 years ago and it still is used everyday on my hardwood floor in the kitchen and tile in the bathroom. I have never had a problem but I can only use it for smaller jobs like hair in the bathroom and crumbs in the kitchen. The sharp thing that comes with it is very useful to pull out wrapped around hair and strings. I'm very pleased. Would highly recommend for the little stuff, sure beats getting out the big vaccum everyday!!

5/7/2007 - Adna of Ohio, USA writes:
I feel so ripped off and foolish for believieng the infomercial! The only thing the sweeper does is blow the dirt, dust, hair, etc. AWAY! It is NOT a vacuum as it has no sucking power. The little brushes underneath the sweeper pushes the dirt away. I tried to use it on hardwood floors, linoleum, carpet and rugs; it does not work on ANY flooring. If it did not cost so much to ship, I would send it back. As it is now, the sweeper is sitting in my basement collecting dust.

Charged it for over 20 hrs initially and now only put it on the charger overnight every other night for about 8 hrs and it still runs great. I have a 2 1/2 year old and he makes all kinds of messes with his snacks so I have to use it EVERYDAY and it works great EVERYDAY. It's light weight and does what it promises on tile and floors and short carpets and rugs. I hated dragging out my dusty, heavy vacuum out and now, I look forward to sweeping and love the results after a few QUICK sweeps and it moves like butta! Love the way it stores away and mom has one now too and her boss wants one as well. I actually look for places to sweep now. Oh, the wireless thing is also awesome! Get one, just follow the directions on charging the battery and you'll like it too!

I bought this sweeper about a year ago. At the beginning I was very pleased with it. I bought it for those quick pick-ups in the bathroom and kitchen, so I wasn't expecting it to work like a big vaccuum cleaner. Worked great. After using it maybe 4 or 5 times, I noticed that the battery would not hold a charge for very long. Now it won't hold a charge at all. I wrote the company twice and to date have not received any reply and that has been 2 months age.

I love it!!! It doesn't work like a vacuum of course, but it does swivel like it's advertised. Perfect for stairs and quick pickups. My kids use it to vacuum their room because it's much easier than the big bulky vacuum.
