I purchased mine only last week and so far, so good. I found it very, very easy to assemble -- even a kid can do it. My floor felt really clean and dust free. I have a medium sized rug in the living room and I don't need to drag the vacuum cleaner out to clean it -- this little equipment does the job really well! I couldn't even find a crumb after I used it! It does everything the informercial claims it does. So far, I would highly recommend it.

This product works great!! I have had this product for over two months and I use it at least twice a day. I have a golden retrevier that sheds all the time the swivle picks up his hair on the kitchen floor and carpet very well. It also picks up crumbs easily too. The only thing that I find difficult is emptying the tray. Over all I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this after seeing an informercial and was so excited to receive it. I didn't expect it the day it came and had already vacuumed earlier in the day. I didn't care I want to see this "great" product work! Well, not 5 minutes after I turned it on, it died and hasn't worked since. Needless to say, it wasn't worth the return postage for me to send it back to be replaced with another worthless piece of JUNK! I would seriously refrain from wasting your money! Save up and buy a real machine! I DO NOT recommend this to any one and the inventor should be ashamed of their lousy merchandise!

I purchased the Swivel Sweeper about a year ago. The battery has needed to be charged about 3 times, but as often as I use it, that is not bad. I have use it every evening, before I go to bed, to sweep my kitchen floor and am very happy with the results it gives. When I am finished sewing or doing craft projects, I use it to clean up the mess that has been made and it works fine. I have tried using it on my carpet for small dry spills. It will pick up most of the loose objects but doesn't do what a good vacumn cleaner would do. But, I can say I am completely satisfied with the Swivel Sweeper. It is much easier to use on small jobs than having to get out the large vacumn cleaner.

What a rip off. I have had no trouble with the battery but it barely sucks up pet hair and that's what I bought it for. Maybe it is the battery not doing a good job.Plus I paid a lot for the shipping and handling and then saw it in []. This company sure ripped me off! Don't buy this product!

Loved my swivel for the first 4-5 months, after that, the battery would only last long enough to do 1 small bathroom. The tray is hard to empty and the brushes fill quickly w/ hair and does not work well when they are full. Also, it claims it won't scratch wood/laminate floors, but because the bottom is plastic, it has put fine scratches all over my laminate. I tried to contact the company re: the problems but after 62 e-mails, I still have yet to be acknowledged. I learned the hard way that this product is horrible but hoping this will stop someone else from making a huge mistake!

This Swivel Sweeper worked great for the 1st 6 months. Then it would work for about 5 minutes and then stopped. If I turned it off and wait for a minute and turned it back on, it would work again for a minute and then stopped. I called Ontel and was given the standard line of "Our warranty is only for 90 days. You need to contact the store you bought it from." No store was going to take it back after 6 months. I asked if they knew about the problem since it's been written online by other users. They said they knew but there's nothing they can do about it. The product is defective and the company knows about it but won't do anything to fix it and the customer service is non-existent. For those who love this product, I'd like to hear what they have to say after 6 months to a year of usage.

Works well for things like cheerios, pet hair and dust on hardwood floors. Will not replace your vacum. It sure is easier to pick up kids mess than getting out a broom and dustpan. Should sell for less as it does not do everything that the infomercial states. I am happy with it.

I usually don't buy stuff off the TV, but I was intrigued. I really like it! It works great on my hardwoods and vinyl, and my low pile rugs. (I don't have any carpet, so I can't rate that.) It is noisy, but it picks up all the visible dirt and crumbs plus what I don't see. It's not as thorough as a vacuum, but it's certainly a lot easier to maneuver and set up. My charged battery works for a decent amount of time. I do wish there was an easier way to clear the built up hair around the brushes, but overall I love it.

I bought this thinking it would do what it says... WRONG... 1. The battery would not stay charged. 2. When the battery was charged it would stop if you went from bare floor to carpet. 3. If the roller brushes get hair on them it quits picking up, and the battery dies much quicker Don't buy this product!!! A total waste of money..

The Swivel Sweeper worked great for about a week or so....I thought I had found the best product EVER! However, now it shuts off every few seconds, and I have to keep turning it off, waiting a few seconds and then turning it back on, just to have it shut off again a few seconds later. I could have my whole house swept and vacuumed in the time it takes to go through all that. I am very disappointed! Do not buy it!!

I LOVE this product. My mother bought one. She has wood floors and 2 cats. She was always using it to clean up the floor. So, I finally bought one (not off the internet). In 2005. I have 2 cats, wood floors throughout the house, and a 2 year old. Great for cleaning up snack messes, cat litter, dust bunnies, cat hair and more. I use it on our 2 area rugs only if I am just cleaning small messes. I think my larger vacumn does a better job on the rug, we do have 2 long hair cats. I am looking to get 1 or 2 more, so I can have one a couple places through the house. I usually have to clean out the brushes often, but again, I have 2 long hair cats.

Great commerical. Was very motivated to buy product, but always check for feedback. The positive responses I've read all appear to be written by the same person, probably by the company. The consistant comments about the battery were a big turn off and I will consider other products.

Works for very short period and then dies. The person who produced this product should be made to return all money to every buyer. This item is not worth the space it takes up.Anyone considering buying it,don't be dupedby false promises. It is absolutely worthless after a limited time of use Ie a week!!!!! I placed it into garbage can after parting with my money and then after a week found out it was junk.

I bought one of these for myself and one for my 80-year-old mother. I have had it since 11/05, and have not (yet?) had a problem with the battery holding a charge long enough for me to use the sweeper. 2 things I'd like to point out: 1. A replacement battery is $14.99 at the SwivelSweeper's Web site ([].com). 2. The only problem I had was when it picked up the edge of a throw rug, I didn't turn it off. I pulled the rug out while the sweeper was still running; the handle broke at one of the places where it is screwed together. I tried to glue it w/Epoxy, but that only lasted about a month. I am ordering a replacement because the part of the handle that broke is not available as a replacement part. NOTE: The cheapest and BEST place to buy the sweeper is at [].com, NOT the manufacturer's Web site!

The battery did not work at all at first-I tried it again a day later and it "somewhat" works-keeps going off. Also, the 'sales person' led me to beleive I was buying extra filters for it-It was a useless part that I won't ever need. It does not pick up well-the only good thing is that it's light-but so is my broom!

Have to agree with the other posters that the battery is big flop, which makes the product a flop as well. Don't waste your money.

I dare to say that I love it! I would not buy it on Internet or over the phone, but when I saw it in the store, I could not help myself but purchase it. I was at the time eight months pregnant and moving into a house which was in the middle of renovation. Bending to clean floors was out of the question and I don't know what I would do without it. Battery still works great and what I love about it the most, I'm able to quickly clean up my dining room and kitchen after every meal. I can say one thing it is much better than my expensive and bulky floormate.

Works great at first. I thought it was one of the best thing since sliced bread, but the now it stinks. It keeps turning off only after a few seconds of use. You have to keep flipping the switch on and off every 30 seconds to get it to come back on, but it turns right back off. My father purchased one too and has the same problem. I would NOT purchase one!

Works great, but the battery stinks. As long as it's charged, the sweeper does what they claims, but unfortunately the battery will only hold a charge for about a minute. It worked well for the first three months, but now it's useless. Since a replacement costs almost as much as the sweeper itself, it's not worth replacing.
