This mop is horrible. The handle is cheap, the wringer is cheap. Save your money! If you do buy it don't buy the extra heads they charge you out the rear for the shipping.

This is the ONE and only mop I have ever used and will use. But, you have to know how to mop with it. It really is not a rocket science. Yes the handle makes me angry sometimes, it just need patience to screw it in just right. I do vacum my floors first and they shine after I am done.

I love the mop. Its great with the cat fur. The mop handle is cheap and breaks in half but I used a metal bar and put it back together like that. but where do I get the "free" replacement heads?

I bought this product about a year ago and used it twice. The mop heads are extremely hard and immobile. Whatever it is you have to mop up, you must wait until you soak the mop for quite awhile and then wring it out. That is, if you CAN wring it out. Instructions say it only takes a few minutes... nonsense! And the telescopic handle does not work! Are these mops to be used only by dwarfs? It appears that the only way to use this mop effectively is to pull it towards you but that is quite cumbersome not to mention very tiresome. Now I use a nice large sponge mop purchased at the local hardware store. Works just fine.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK

We have been using the Sweap and Mop for 2 months now. We have a liitle Baby and wanted the floors to be clean and dry easily. Not the case with this one. Also now, after two months, he sponges of both broke off. We are better off with a old fashioned mop. Save you money, avoid this one.

I bought this product in a store for $5. I figured, after reading the reviews, it wouldn't be much of a loss if it really is this bad. I filled my sink up with water, put the mop in it and went to the store. When I came back, the entire sink was empty, very absorbent! At first, I pushed it like a regular mop and like everyone said, it was hard to push. Then I realized that because of the material, doing that would rip it. You have to pull it backwards instead of pushing forward and back. It worked really well, it got a lot of dirt and debris in it. I am using it to clean a very dirty apartment that wasn't taken care of. I only have two complaints: It doesn't hold much debris at once and I have to rinse it frequently and the instructions didn't tell me if chemocal floor cleaners would ruin the mop head or not. I have used in 10 times and it has yet to rip on me. Sounds like everyone is using it wrong!

Garbage, mop heads fell out of metal teeth, could not undo all 4 screws, to replace head. Screw thread got stripped, totally useless. Don't buy.

I just finished using my Sweep N Mop for the second time--I had to quit, as the mop head fell off, and the handle does not stay together. It will untwist during use and I am left having to stop and screw it back together. Thank goodness I still have my Swiffer Wet Jet !!!

I purchased this a year or so ago. I am amazed that the other consumers could push this mop. I soaked it for the time required and it would not budge across my pergo or vinyl flooring. I pushed so hard that I ripped the mop head right off the mop. Took forever to get it back on. Don't waste your money on this one !

expensive to order refills, because of the shipping charges@$3.95 each. They claim they are free but it does'nt cost $3.00 to even by a sponge so I think it is a rip off.

To sum it up, everything that everyone said was true! Except instead of being five foot tall, you'd have to be Tatu from Fantasy Island just to use it properly. I bent over so far trying to mop my kitchen, I could really feel the reaming taking place. My regular mop bucket was too small, so I had to use my dishpan, which inexplicably caused a bigger mess than the one I was trying to clean up! And the mop head was so hard, I almost busted the squeegee part when I tried to squeegee it before the 20 minute mark. In fact, you'll need replacement heads for life, just so you can mop your floor. Be sure to have plenty of back pain medicide before use! A lil picture of me with my new mop: []

This seems to be nothing but an ordinary mop with some grooves in the mop head.I had to soak it for about 20 minutes to get it to soften enough to use the squeegee and then it seemed to work just like any other mop. Good luck trying to reach their customer service[always busy with other customers].Maybe I'll try the BBB.

The mop does pick up hair and dust. However, the mop is very wobbly when you apply pressure to remove stuck on dirt and works very poorly for this purpose. Further, applying pressure caused the sponge to separate from the metal strip on the mop head and it could not be reinserted. I had to remove the mop head and replace it. They do not demonstrate changing mop heads on the infomercial, probably because it is very difficult to do. First there are 4 screws which are VERY hard to remove, you practically need a power tool. Next, the screws would not go back into the replacement head properly and again you practically need a power tool. I got 2 back in, but could not screw them all the way down which left the screws in the way when you try to squeeze out the water. This product is terrible, one of the worst hoaxes out there.

Mop does pick up hair as described and does rinse as described, however, the mop head does not glide smoothly and is very wobbly. The handle length is made for people who are about five feet tall and is not adjustable as described in their directions. The handle also loosens as you use the mop. Suppossedly if you buy 1 mop (9.99) you get a second 1 free as well as extra mop heads. Here is what I paid.... Subtotal: $10.00 Shipping: $39.60 Tax: $0.60 Total: $50.20 Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
