It worked for me!

12/20/2006 - Jen of Texas, USA writes:

I bought this product after seeing the infomercial for it. I have been using it for a year now. At first it was a bit hard to use and I did pull some hair, but after a few uses it got easier. I do see hairs in the little catcher compartment. The only downside is that it is a bit loud and your arms do get tired after a while..but I still think it was worth it.

Works great!

10/26/2006 - Skyla of Minnesota, USA writes:

I purchased this product in hopes that it would pay for itself. It took me approximately one hour to do my whole head of hair. I have somewhat thin, past the shoulder length hair. It did take about a 5 passes to actually get the hang of using it. Once you figure out how much hair to put on the plate...it works great. I will definately recommend this to anyone growing their hair out. Mine will pay for itself in no time.

It actually worked for me!!

9/1/2006 - Cynthia of Michigan, USA writes:

Like my fellow split enders, I was frustrated after using it at first. I got through my entire head, only to have a few pieces of hair in the chamber and w/ aching arms and neck. Then I realized that the little directional button is actually important. You must push the button in the direction that you're brushing. I tried again doing it this way. Made a huge difference. There was a ton of hair in the chamber, so I was just doing it wrong before. Also, if you're having trouble w/ it pulling your hair, this too gets better w/ practice. Put a piece of hair in the bottom bristles, not the part sticking out. A lot smoother. You also may have to just be patient and use less hair at a time. It is tiring and painful after a while. If you have someone willing to do it for you, I would definitely suggest that.

This is a horrible product!

This is a horrible product! It doesn't work at all. You can only put a tiny bit of hair in it at a time. Also it pulls your hair really hard. If anything, it is probably damaging to your hair.

What A Joke

10/30/2005 - Jessica of Michigan, USA writes:

I was very excited when I saw the infomercial for this product.. what an awesome idea. I was equally excited to get my "free gift" if only I would have gotten one. Was supposed to get a large rotating straightening brush.. never did. The Split Ender will trim the ends of your hair if you twist it up and stick it into the cutter.. and tweek the safety so it will cut without being closed (ya wanna see what you're doing). If you try it the "right" way it will only cut stray hairs.. ones that stick up away from the rest...ooooh big deal. So I guess if you have a freakish fear of scissors or salons this is the product for you.. be prepared to spend hours with it.. everytime you use it! You'll begin hearing the click-click-clicking noise it makes in your sleep.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! :(

8/24/2005 - Riana of California, USA writes:

When I saw the infomercial for this I was so excited, what an awesome idea.  The theory of it and explanation of how it works all seemed very foolproof.  Unfortunatley after trying it with the highest of hopes I was very unimpressed.  After running through my hair (and I have a lot of hair) there was barely anything to empty out. It snips hair randomly or not at all leaving very uneven results and the user still in need of a decent trim.  So lame.

Waist of money

8/15/2005 - Connie of Georgia, USA writes:

I was hoping this would actually work but it ACTUALLY DOESNT!! I tried over again HOPING that one way or the other it will work...never did! Stick with your 3 month trim to get rid of your split ends and maintain healthy hair because this product DOES NOT WORK and is a waist of money.
