Worst product I ever bought from TV! It amplifies sounds close to you (like your breathing)...sounds like static. There is more ambient noise around you than you realize. Conseqently that drowns out anything you may want to hear. Had an air conditioner running...that's all I could hear. Plus the quality of the sound is horrible. I have never bought anything so worthless in my life. Within 5 minutes, it was relegated to the trash. I didn't even attempt to get my money back. I figured any company selling something that bad for that much, would make it more of a hassle to return than it was worth. Better to move on, not waste any more of my time and money, and chalk it up to a lesson learned.

This was the most worthless thing I have ever bought. Other reviewers of similar products got it right; you can hear amplified stuff allright - but only stuff within about two inches of the main box. I should have known this was too good to be true. I'll probably never buy anything else from an infomercial.

This product is a waste of money. If it can amplify sounds up to 60ft away, just imagine what will happen to sounds 1ft away - distortion! When using my Sonic earz I was expecting some sort of fancy technology that would enable me to pick up sounds that sounded crisp and clear. Instead, what I got was a cheap microphone all dressed up to look like something fancy, but with bad sound quality. If you can imagine recording something in the open, say with a tape recorder or mobile phone, and then turning up the volume really loud, this is how the Sonic earz will sound like. Better off buying a book to learn how to use your own ears to listen more carefully.
