This vacuum does not work. It is a complete waste of money. I think the company is making its money on overcharging for shipping. I can't imagine anyone keeping it. We should band together to take legal action so that others are not scammed. I want my money and also my shipping charges (both ways) refunded.

I just recv'd the power vac the power head does not stay in the opening & the brushes do not move, I will be contacting support for either a replacement or to return this back otherwise it does have super suction, any thing that can be done to help the consumer would be greatly appreciated.

don't even think of buying this piece of garbage! what a total scam. they sent me four vacuums and a steam cleaner. i took all four to ups and returned them. it's been three weeks and they have not credited my visa card. i filed a dispute with visa and am now waiting for a response. No more infomercial products ever!

Husband bought this buy one get one vac with all the wonderful things it said it did. Claimed buy one get one free, order today and get smart space power steamer free ($80 value) only pay shipping. Order came today, and as all here have stated it was a total piece of crap. No suction, made of very cheap plastic, over heated and smelled of burning plastic and of course the steam is "on backorder". The price quoted on the automated order system was 119.85 for the vac, 18.50 for s&h the steamer was supposed to be free. When I read the invoice our credit card was charged for one vac at 119.85, (4) power steamers at 20.00 each for that "free" 80.00 value, this is the kicker.. s&h was 117.00 include the tax 26.14 for a grand total of $342.99!! on merchandise that was supposed to total 157.00. We live 15 to 20 minutes away from where merchandise was shipped, my husband is taking the merchandise personally to the company with brief instructions of what they can do with their amazing product. We disputed the charges with our credit card company and luckly were credited for the purchase. I will call first thing in the morning with probably the same results as everyone else. But to satisfy the cc company I will follow through. My best advice NEVER order from an informercial! especially if you can not talk to a real live person with questions or at least research first. My husband has ordered me a scanner from HSN with no problems, so buyer beware and make sure the company is reputable before ordering.

THE HAND HELD UNIT SEEMS TO WORK OK BUT WHEN YOU RUN IT TO LONG IT SEEMS LIKE THE MOTOR IS BURNING. DOES NOT SUCK WHEN IT IS ASSEMBLED.

This product indeed is a piece of crap. It's not only plastic but flimsy at that. It's hard to remove the tubes from each other thus making it difficult to take apart. It's cumbersome and doesn't pick up dirt like the infomercial. I wouldn't have minded the shipping fee of 57.00 if the vacuum was great, but this is highway robbery. I will never purchase anything from an infomercial again.

This vacuum a piece of junk. cannot call customer service you can hold on all day if you wish no one is at the other end.It is cheap plastic smells of burning when u use it. cost me over 200 dollars. the steamer has not arrive. Have informed my credit card co. to dispute charges. I am so so very disappointed. Infomercial is a total lie. Disgusted.

I agree with Teri dated 1/27/07. They ship you double what you ordered so that they get all their money in one payment instead of the 3 payments they originally said you could make!!! What a crooked set of business sharks! Then I had to spend my day off contacting them and their extremely rude and uneducated representatives and the rest of my day contacting UPS to pick up the EXTRA 2 cleaners that I DID NOT ORDER. Bottom line, they will not be in business very long I suspect! Thankfully!

I ordered one vacuum (buy 1 get 1 free), but I received 4 and was charged for all 4 on my credit card. They charged me $193.90, when I agreed to pay $79.98 total. Because of that, and the fact that they sent too many, my account went into the negative as well as causing difficulties with my other bills. I finally got someone to answer the phone and told them I didn't want these vacuums and is requesting a full refund. I waited on the line for over an hour and a half. Please, please, please don't fool with these people!

I purchased the Smart Space Power Vac, based on the infomercial. It works okay as a hand vac, is easy to clean, but, when I tried it on my carpet, it did nothing. Literally! Nothing was picked up. I am attemtping to return it, but no one answers the ph# I am referred to on their website. This is more frustrating than the vacuum cleaning not sucking up the dirt as advertised.

Please do not waste your money. The vacuum is terrible. Customer service is non existent. Called and was on hold for 38.7 minutes before a rep came on the line. I told them that the vacuum is a scam. They gave me a RMA# to return the vacuums. Of course I have to return both in order to get the refund. I told them that I want to return the steamer as well which I just got after 8 weeks of waiting. Was told by the representative that if I do, I will not get any additional refund as it was a gift. The bottom line is stay away.

I received 4 vaccuums. That is an incorrect order! What can I do to get my money back? Plus, it overheats. I will never trust another informercial.

There should be a chart that shows negative number ratings! This product would get a -5!. What a piece of garbage. Like others, I was charged for two sets when I ordered one and that $94 shipping charge will not be returned! his is a total scam and a class action suit should be filed. Definately getting a call to the Better Business Bureau from me. The motor heated up and shut off after 4 minutes and the suction is non existant. Even the hand unit has little or no power. I got one so I could give my Dad the other one....I would be embarrased to give him this useless thing! And heaven knows if and when I get that steamer whether it will work better than blowing moist air from my mouth on the object to clean. Do not buy this product! I will say I am embarrased that I did not look for reviews before purchasing it like I do most everything.

I was another sucker. I only wanted two but got four. Been trying to return them with no luck. They work no better than the cheaper vacumn for twenty dollars. What a rip!!@#. They should close these peoples doors. Can not wait to return them. Pat in Texas

I only ordered one set and the company send two sets, but only 1 set of Power steamer which should be send in 4-6 weeks (mind you the 30 day money back garantee would be over). I haven't received the Power steamer yet and will send back 2 sets of so called Smart Space Power Vac's. The hand held isn't to bad, but the rest sucks. It is poorly build, has little sucking power as a vacuum and is way overpriced. What really gets me is the S & H cost. I will call my Credit Card and rebuddle this product. This is truly a scam and should be procecuted. I am beginning to trust any of the advertisements on TV any longer.

LIke everyone else who has reviewed this product, i found it to be junk. it arrived yesterday, almost forty days after seeing the infomercial and ordering it. the one i opened didn't pick up hardly at all and when i went to empty it i couldnt separate the hand helf function from the body (one of the supposed perks). i am mailing them both back a day later, will probably not get my $57.00 shipping fee back, but will report them to the attorny generals office. i have also informed my cred card company to go after the postate as the merchandise was defective. as far as reaching their office for a shipping number, forget it. i am sending my "return recepit requested". i am not even keeping the supposed free one; no one would buy these if seen in a store. i will always check the internet in the future before i buy anything i see on T.V.

this is the worst vacummn I ever bought and I was not happy with it but stuck with it cause I threw away the box. so if you are thinking of trying don't it does not pick up as a upright and as a hand held you have to hold it over the stuff to pickup.

1/15/2008 - Diane of New York, USA writes:
I waited for the power vac for at least six weeks. When it finally arrived, the first one broke at the connection to the brush/broom part. the second one worked for 3 minutes and then the broom/bristle thing stopped working..stopped turning, no vacuum pick up at all. The hand held part works well though. I didnt get the steam machine part. They charged me nearly $160 on my debit card and I still owe 80 according to the receipt in the box. My bank cannot stop payment on a purchase made with a debit card unless you cancel the debit card and wait for another to arrive in the mail. I need that card and use it for items during the week. This is a complete screw job on the public. I called their customer service no. and they put me on hold for 40 minutes and I finally hung up because I was at work and didnt want to stay on the phone. BUYER BEWARE. I DONT THINK THERE IS ANY RECOURSE.

Do not buy this product. I ordered one and the company sent me 4 vacuums and billed my credit card accordingly. I have spent hours on the phone trying to contact their "customer service" but have yet to get anyone on the phone. BY THE WAY, THE VACUUM IS GARBAGE. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!
