As several others mentioned, cheap, not worth the money. They make it sound good on the infomercial but mess up the order, totally. I order one of the buy one, get one free. And wanted it spread out in the 3 payment option. My husband had been out of work for 8 months, so we were trying to catch up old bills, and I had settled a couple credit cards and trying to stay away from cc, so used my bank's debit card. I wish I had used a cc! They deducted over $350. from the bank account, and since as soon as I noticed this I called---I was told to refuse the shipment of the extra 2. I did that and still have not received any money back that was 6 weeks ago. Also, before the trial period was up I called for the RMA--and sent back the other two, because they are cheap, filter clogs quickly, and no suction for the upright, et. They gave me that song and dance about the refund taking up to 30 days. I plan on calling again tomorrow during normal business hrs. I agree we should all put a class action suit on them, seems they are scamming a lot of us---buyer beware, but this is to the point of it's time for them to be held responsible.

This product was the absolute worst thing I've every purchased in my entire life! I am 40 yrs. old and have never felt like such a fool. It doesn't suck up a thing, the attachments dont' fit right, the 2nd vac. worked for 5 minutes...literally! I called and got a complete run-around and was told I would not get another one or a refund! They charged way to much for shipping too! I will NEVER buy another thing from an informercial again!! Please, please, don't make the mistake I did.

The very first time I tried it a little peice broke off, the next time I tried it, it stopped working and has never started back up. I am still waiting for the steamer that is on "backorder". Almost 200 bucks for this crap. My kids toys last longer and work better. And by the time you pay to ship it back you have paid more than what it cost!

We cancelled our order for this vac, but they shipped it anyway and charged our card. We sent it right back with the UPS driver. It has been 2 mos. and we are still waiting for our refund. We were told we were suppose to have it last week, and still nothing. Can't even get hold of the accounting department. No one will pick up the phone. Buyers Beware...they are a bunch of crooks.

Do not buy this piece of crap. on 2/21/2008 I ordered 1 vacumn cleaner(buy 1 get i free, etc) They sent me 4 and took over $500 out of my account and I had to pay $68.20 to return them and they still have not returned my money. I have spent over 100 hours contacting the Attorney General of Dallas, TX and NC, the FTC, and others . They keep promising and I stillhave not seen my money. Remember, this product is also sold as Windstar, Lazervax, Space Saver and various other names and all are junk and so many people are sent multiple orders and never get their money back. This was told to me by the Attny. General. Have contacted the BBB in Dallas, Tx. CBS "Investigations" and Dateline.

The company does not offer the sale of replacement parts. If something goes wrong with the vac past the warranty time (two months), you're out of luck. The company will not only not help you by offering to sell you replacement part, but does not even help you to find someone who can help you. I purchased two vacs. One works fine, and the other is now worthless because the motor does not work. I would never again buy a product from this company through their TV offer.

I ordered the buy one get one free. They sent me four and I returned two of them. They did receive it and I have been waiting for a refund. Now they charged another charge on my account. This company is a total rip-off. I too did not get the free gift that I was suppose to have. They do need to be shut down and reported to the BBB. I too have made over 6 phone calls and I am going to keep calling until I get my money back. This company has the worst customer service I have dealt with in my life. I am a customer service specialist so I know what customer service is. I want this company reported all over the national news.

I ordered this piece of crap on 02/21/08 as I had just had back surgery and needed something light. The next a.. I received phone call from an employee calling herself "Kim". She informed me that my order did not go through and she would fix it. I asked her to affirm to me that I would not be double ordering or double-billed and she did. In a few days I received 4 vacumn cleaners. They had taken $433.20 out of my account, As I was still disabled and not supposed to lift or drive I had to get up post surgery, lift 4 boxes and drive across the county and pay $68.20 to send them ups ground. I was told by a "Judy" that as soon as they received the product back in their warehouse, my money would be credited back to my account. The product arrived there march 03 and was signed by Rodriguez. I was told by the shipping site it was left ata pharmacy. I have spent 100s of hours trying to get my money back. I have contacted Attorney General of Dallas(consumer protection division) and the Attny. General of North Carolina. Also, the FTC and hundreds of phone calls to the company, each time with a promise that my money will be returned the next week. The BBB in Dallas says they have multiple complaints. I called the CBS affiliate KTVT TV in Dallas, TX (Telephone #817-451-1111) who has a division called Investigations. I also spoke with the NC attny General's office today and they sent the company a copy of my complaint and gave them 10 days to reply, which they didi not. George Leggett of NC attny. general's office said it reeked of a similar case where the product was called "WindStar" as the scam is very similar. Anyone who has not received thei money and would like to contact me and join a collaborative effort to expose this company, please contact Kathie Winebarer/209 Southland Dr. Zebulon, NC 27597 (919) 269-0432 as there is strength in numbers. If enough people respond, we could contact something like DATELINE as the Attny General of Texas sent me a "sweet" little letter informing me that they did not get involved in civil matters(and they call themselves consumer protection and this outfit is supposedly operating out of thir state. I the number there is 512-463-2185. I called them and asked them if they did not get involved, then just exactly what was their job. The website for this outfit is Tvgoods.com and I just checked it and it says the Space Saver Vac is their biggest seller, so how many more people are being ripped off. If this is not enough for Atty. Greg Abbott to get off his behind and do something, what is. Anyone who reads this, I did receieve the original vac I ordered for $200 more and have yet to see the free steamer. Do not get sucked into this scamming company. I am on medication since this happened as I am on a fixed income and they practically wiped me out for the 2 months and my other bills have been affected. Please contact me.

My story is like all the others I've read and wondering if anyone has been fortunate enough to actually receive their refund? Every time I've actually spoken to someone, after holding for 15-30 min. the story is always the same. Now it's "their behind in their refunds - call back in a week!" What a total crock! My best advice is don't purchase in the first place, and, if you have, contact your credit card immediately to get the charges reversed. Unfortunately, mine was on my debit and it was past the time my bank could do anything about it. REPORT TO BBB & ATTORNEY GENERAL. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE STOPPED!!!

Never received the vac. Did received the power washer which was supposed to be free. Totoal price over the phone was approx. $120. However, we later found out we had been billed for over $195. The Vac was shipped to the wrong location. This event stated in Dec. 2007 and after 5 phone calls, we still have not received our money. They accepted payment by check over the phone but each time we call, they say it will take 4 to 6 week to refund our money. Total RIP OFF. Should be shut down by the local Attonoey General. I will make my feeling know to the BBB and also the Attorney General.

I refused shipment weeks after ordering it b/c I saw a vacumn with cyclonic action at [] for $19.99. They refused to stop shipment. When I received it,due to the weight of the box, I knew this piece of equipment that was highly touted as being strong enough to pick up a refrigerator wasn't worth the box it was wrapped in. I immediately refused shipment and sent it back. It's been 2 months and I haven't received my refund as of yet.

3/28/2008 - Vicki of Kansas, USA writes:
The vacuum did okay, as far as suction, not ideal but then it is cheap. It actually feels cheap, too. The bad thing is, after the money back return period was over, the vacuum quit working. I was vacuuming and it just stopped running. I can't return it because that time limit is up, I'm out $156.85 and still don't have a vacuum cleaner. Do not purchase this vacuum!!!

Thought this was a good thing for our camp trailer. sent both back. no power cheap plastic materials so far NO refund. will have to try through credit card co. I hate to even give 1 star its worse than bad.

Horrible! I've seen toys made better than this vacume cleaner. How dare they show such phony commercial about this junk??? I would not even give one star, too bad ther is no rating option for 0!! there should be way for all of buyers to get the money for the junk, shipping/handling back for inconvenience/frustration that it has caused!

Right from the ordering process this has been the worst purchase experience I have ever had. While ordering I couldn't even get off the phone without listening to a minimum of four other sales pitches as the attempted to get me to buy more products. Thank goodness I did not because the vacuum was total trash. I didn't even get my stairs vacuumed before it overheated and stopped. I even tried the free one after that and it overheated too. I was able to get hold of the company and obtained "permission" to send the product back. Of course I had to pay for the return shipping fees with the promise that I would be refunded. The product was returned on 12/17/06 and I am still waiting. I have called numerous times (I have been able to get through early in the morning) and keep getting told the return will come. I was last told on 3/3 that the credit would be given by 3/4. Well, it is 3/5 and I still don't have the credit. I guess I am going to have to contact my credit card company next to see if they can get the charges reversed.

I agree with most of the other comments. This vacuum is a piece of crap. The way it worked on infomercial looked great and it was so small I thought I would give it a try. What a mistake! I've contacted the Attorney General of Maryland and they are looking into it right now. Too bad there is not a minus rating.

I'm normally not an "impulse shopper" but when I saw the Smart Space Power Vac advertised I thought it looked like just what I needed. My current vacuum had just broke and I needed a new one. I even taped the show so my fiance could watch it with me. He was instantly skeptical and said if a company could give a vacuum away for free (only pay S&H) then how good could it actually be. Wow, was he right! However, as always, he told me it was up to me if I wanted to purchase it and I did...When I first took the vacuums out of the box, I could see they were not built strong..seemed very cheaply made. The handle of the unit does not stay attached to the base. At first, the vacuum did pick up some, but as soon as the filter got a little bit of dirt on it, the suction power was gone. In order to vacuum my living room, I had to wash the filter several times, waiting for it to completely dry each time. It took me hours to finish the living room. I didn't even dare try to finish the house. I finally went and bought a real vacuum at the store. Buyer Beware!

2/29/2008 - ArTriel of North Carolina, USA writes:
Don't waist your money. This so called vacuum is very poorly made. It stopped working after the first try, and the brush will not stay on. It is a little difficult to push across the carpet, and the attachments do not fit correctly. Needless to say, I have been trying to obtain an RMA for the past 2 months now and can not get one. The one time I get through to someone they tell me the warranty is only for 30 days after that it is your product. What!!!!! I told them that I have been trying to return the piece of junk (x2) since Christmas and now your saying that I cant because I didn’t get through in time. The representative said that they have no record of me trying to call. It’s a total scam and rip off. The worst product I have ever purchased, and extremely expensive. This product should be taken off the market. Buyer Beware!!!!
