No Frills, But It Works

This workout is not done to any hip-hop, make you want to jump around music, but it works. The moves are controlled and you can feel the burn right away. If you stick with it, you will definitely see changes. The workouts get more and more intense with each dvd. So, if you are not looking for dance music and you don't want a workout where you are constantly jumping, but you do want a very good workout, this is an excellent product to buy.

Eating plan has no flavor

I tried the Slim in 6 program and after a few weeks people said I was losing weight. However, the recommended foods are not anything I would eat anyway, as they have almost no flavor. I cook for a living, and I won't give up foods that taste good (ie with the fat, sugar, and salt they tell you to avoid) in order to lose weight. The workouts are okay, but if you do too much too soon, you will get sick. After about 4 weeks, I went to the Burn It Up video (as recommended); it was so fast paced and combined with all the water they tell you to drink, I got sick at my stomach! I wound up giving the program to my neighbor and telling her I hoped she had better luck with it than I did!

Hard workout

I started telling myself that i would follow the 6 weeks but i did follw for a week. People told me that i was looking different. i saw a difference with my big belly but i could not follow up because my muscles were so sore. It is a little boring but i strongly believe that it can work for people not extremely overweight like me .

Extremely Pleased

This is by far the best work out dvd i've ever tried. The first work-out (start it up) is perfect for people, like me, who are not use to working out. It is so simple but you are still working out and learning the moves for the next work-out (ramp it up) when you're ready. Ramp it up is definitely a work-out! you really need to build into it. But once you get it you get it! I only do it 3 times a week and did start it up for almost 2 weeks before ramp it up, but i see results already and its only been 3 weeks! My stomach is much flatter i can almost see muscle underneith and my legs are so strong now. I am so happy with this work out and the way debbie instructs. The count downs to the next exercise really keeps me going.

Good but boring

I bought this DVD to tone up and drop some pounds. I did a couple weeks of Debbie's workouts and had to toss the video. It was very effective but it was extremely boring. Her cuing was good but too redundant for me.

I just tried this product a week ago and i really like it alot. It works out my legs soo well unlike all the other videos i have ever tried. I will get back to this on the sixth week, i am pretty sure i will get results :)

This is the most sensible product I've used so far. I just started two weeks ago and have not measure myself yet but my jeans feel looser! Debbie's instruction is great. This program is not boring and the support that comes with this program is amazing! I'll post again when I'm finished and give final results.

No Frills that WORKS!

Slim in 6 works, period. This is a straight forward, no nonsense super effective program. It might be a little on the "boring" side as some have stated, but it's 6 weeks... you can do this for 6 weeks. The results FAR outweigh the complaints of it being boring. Once you complete the program, there are follow-up DVD's to keep things fresh... for me, it got me into shape so I now enjoy ALL kind of exercise, sports.. and I always come back to SI6 when I need an extra kick in the pants! Women.. this is THE answer for hips, thighs, abs and buns. I have the small waist with the AMPLE hips.. this is the only thing I have done that works this fast. I am an avid at home exerciser (for 3 years now). I've lost over 60 lbs and kept it off. This program changed my life.

Oh So Boring!! But It Works!!!

I used ti sproduct for about 2 weeks and couldnt take it anymore! I know many people say that it did work, but I felt like I could fall asleep and any given moment bc it was so boring! Get Turbo Jam..I lost 10lbs so far and cant wait to workout everyday!

It works...with a LOT of effort!

It definitely works. After I had my daughter, I lost 30 pounds in six weeks using this workout…without “dieting” (cut the portions of foods I would normally eat). That said it is a LOT of effort…an hour a day, six days a week. I think any combo aerobic/weight training activity that requires this much effort would yield results. I am giving the program four stars because, without a personal trainer I don’t know enough about physiology to have sculpted and toned my body the way this program did (better than pre-baby), it was convenient. I didn’t have to leave my house to work out and I saw results in six weeks, as promised. However, it is a little dry and somewhat boring. I could afford to start this program again, but can’t get excited about the effort/routine needed to get there.

Boring!!!

Everything about this product is good except that it is boring. Debbie gives good instructions and the tapes are easy to follow, but she loses my attention quickly. I will do it for a day or two and then toss the DVD to the side. After you memorize the moves, you can do it in front of your TV on your own. I think the goals that the video set and Beach body's method and advice is very realistic.

Not worth it

I am aledy slim, I just wanted to tone up/ The commercial looked great. Looked is the key word. Me and my husband tried it, BORING!!!!!! Work out does give you a sweat, but it is so boring, I just wanted to stop and go to sleep. And the infomercial said they would cut off one paymet. And of course they dint, i got charged for all of them.

Good workout, but very boring. As for music I dont even remeber hearing any. There is too much of a jump from tape 1 to tape 2. But I do recommend TUrbo JAM!

This is a fairly comprehensive to healthy weight loss, toning and conditioning.  Their calorie recommendations are realistic and guarantee that one is eating enough calories without losing lean body mass. The workouts are challenging and well done.  This is a winner!
