Junk

11/19/2005 - Tom of New York, USA writes:

I bought this Rotisserie a couple of years ago. In the beginning I liked it. I told one of my co-workers I liked it. She bougt it too. After six weeks, the plastic base cracked, and I had to hold the base together by wrappinf a wire coathanger around it, and twisting it tight. After another couple of weeks, the glass front door came apart. They made it in such a way, that after you use this a while, the fram (which comes apart in pieces) separates from the glass. I ended up using a piece of large aluminum foil to replace the glass front door, which always fell apart, and kept falling on the floor. My co-worker had the same unfortunate experience. Another fake thing that they show in the commercial is how it makes a beautiful turkey. Not true. The commercial is faked at that point. The problem is that the product has no heat control. It has one heat setting, So when you put in a ten to 12 pound bird, the turkey is right on top of the heating element. in 45 minutes the meat start to turn to charcoal. The only way I found could cook turkey with it was to buy a large aluminum throw-away pan, an make fifty or sixty dime size hles in it. Then I placed it in between the heating element and the turkey. The machine would be good if they put an adjustable heat control (you can find this on competitors rotisseries), a door that doesnt fall apart, and the base should be metal, not a breakable plastic. Junk, Junk, junk.

Only good for cut up meats

11/13/2005 - Angie of Georgia, USA writes:

When I saw the informercial for this product, I was very excited. I had my father buy it for me for Christmas. Everything I cooked, turned out great except for chicken. When I would cook a whole chicken, the outside would burn and the inside would be raw. I have tried several times with different size chickens and they would always come out raw, after an hour and a half of cooking

Perfect every time

9/25/2005 - Pam of Wisconsin, USA writes:

My dad was suffering from dementia when he got addicted to infomercials and bought this item.  I thought he was crazy -- until I tried it.  We have done whole chickens, steaks, and roasts and they come out perfect every time.  I couldn't be more pleased -- or amazed!

Go Ron Co

8/19/2005 - Robert of Ontario, Canada writes:

You always wonder where they find all the people to tell you how good this thing is on the informercial - until you buy one.   We have had our for years (and even bought one for my parents) and it does everything promised and then some.  I really do find the food cooked in the showtime to be better than anywhere else. (Oh my, now I sound like the informercial :-) )

Not great

7/23/2005 - Lynn of Illinois, USA writes:

We have had our rotisserie for several years now and we still haven't been able to reach the company to replace the broken parts that came with it.  I will never purchase a product from them again. If it wasn't broken when it arrived, I'm sure this would have been a great kitchen toy.

A GREAT Rotisserie!

7/22/2005 - Veronica of Florida, USA writes:

This rotisserie grill is great!! It leaves your chicken juicy and tasteful. You definitely set it for a certain time and walk away, go shopping, whatever and it will stop cooking when it's done. I HIGHLY recommend this rotisserie. I've only cooked whole chickens but they taste great. It's definitely worth the money.
