I purchased Sheer Cover from the infomercial, after watching it. That was the biggest mistake I ever made. My skin, at the age of 58, does have wrinkles and some spots from sun. I thought it would help, but it was a joke. I did use too much the first time; however, no matter how much less I would use, I still looked as though I'd died and was being made up by the local funeral home...with the spots sill visible. Although no one could tell I was wearing anything on my face, I received no compliments about looking nicer. Neither did any of the spots really get covered. When I looked in the mirror, I could see my wrinkles even more, after the thinest application. I haven't tried to cancel the membership yet, however I can see this is not going to be easy, from reports of others. I've switched back to a company that has been in the make-up and perfume business since the late 1800's because their products are guaranteed. If the person doesn't like the result, they get a full refund, right away, or a credit, if they so choose, for another product. They also have raw minerals for the face, and if trust has anything to do with my future purchases of make-up, then I'll choose the company that has 'never' done an infomercial and is 'tried and true' to their word.

Ok so the face powder is ok But please trust me and do not buy this as the company continue to take out money from your account with out letting you know and when you call them to ask why, your kept waiting for an hour if not more!!! Ive spoke to a few people and they said the same.. and when I did get through I said I was going to write bad reveiws I was told "go ahead this is a multi million pound company as if what you say will cause a problem" I mean really how rude! Personally make up companys are getting wind of this powder cover up and sell it alot cheaper than sheer cover!! I hope no one else gets as ripped off as I did.

I tried my friends, great product. Ordered, have yet to receive it. I can get any answers as to where it is. I live in Canada and can't even contact them through website, as it only lists the states. Does anyone have a website or email address that I can contact them from Canada?

I am very sorry that some of you do not like Sheer Cover but I cannot use any other makeup other than this product. I do not like the face wash and lotion products but the makeup is excellent. I am African American and I use almond in the winter/spring months and mocha in the summer/fall months and I would never use anything else. I have never had any problems with my orders and I have been using the products for over three years now.

I was extremely disappointed with this product. It caused my face to break out within two days of using it, and it is very, very oily. It cakes in the creases of your face after a short time (especially around eyes and mouth) and the product begins to look flaky and uneven after about two hours. The powder transfers onto EVERYTHING, it does not adhere well to the skin at all. The concealer is just awful. It's greasy, does not blend well, and cakes up just like the mineral powder. I've gotten 100% better results simply using mineral based cosmetics from the local drugstore(and saved lots of money as well). The celebrities who are endorsing this product should be ashamed of themselves- it really is not a good product.

i decided to order the trial version for 9.95 plus shipping and i liked the product. Then they started charging my credit card $30 a month after that telling me that the products were worth over $100 and that If i decided to keep the product I would be charged $30 every month until it was paid off. I had absolutely no idea when i first ordered it, over $100 for make up!!. I decided to cancel the order and working on shipping it back to get my full refund, I better get a full refund.

PLEASE don't waste your hard earn money on this mess. Like 95% of the other women who have reviewed this crap and have had a bad experience I to have not only broken out in pimples but also had [] customer service and got less back on my return that I had paid for in the first place. It didn't do what it promised. Sure sheer cover puts famous women on the informorcial and also has real women crying about how bad there skin is and once they tried sheer cover it covered all the flaws and there goes Alyssa Milano and Leeza Gibons hugging the poor women while the other ladies in the audience are clapping. Bull crap! Ladies it's all a sales tactic. Show real women with skin problems and the famous women and there you go more of us watching this thinking hey maybe this will work. I don't know but if you want to try it go ahead but read about our stories, we have taken the time to inform you about this product and the bad experience we have had. For me I was fooled by the commercial and once I recived it as excited as I was I followed the directions on how to apply. Well it didn't cover anything and during the day you could see it on my face and it rubs off on my clothes and others easily. I live in NY and being on a crowded subway with people brushing pass me the sheer crap was rubbing off on them. LOL! I noticed the sheer cover is not like my [] make up nor does it cover my face like my []. Even [] is better. Yes the brushes suck to. And when I called to cancel further shipments they still were trying to get me to buy vitamins. I paid more than what my return was. It so was not worth it. But buyer beware. Like I said I tried it and it did nothing for me. For thoughs of you who have tried it and love it good for you. Your probably a few in many that it works for which is fine but for me and the other women who took the time to tell you there experience with sheer cover it did nothing but made us more aware of what we buy from TV.

This product is horrible. Don't waste your money. Your better off buying a hot steamy pile of horse $hit to rub on your face. The brushes look like they were made from malnourished beaver fur & will last for a solid 4 uses before falling apart. On top of all this Customer service sucks !!!!!! This company has now idea how a business should be run. The don't provide any type of tracking when they mess up your order ... & they WILL mess up your order. What type of half @ss operation doesn't provide a tracking # when all they do is ship product ???? Also 2-3 day shipping will get to you in about 2 weeks ...Once again ...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SHIT

4/4/2008 - Island_breeze of New Jersey, USA writes:
The product is good ... Luckily it sells itself. The customer service on the other hand is horrible. A next day air delivery will take about 3 days (after you paid for Next day service). The company has no tracking numbers !!! wtf. How can you be a direct to consumer business and not provide a tracking number. Just pray that you dont have an issue with your order because you won't get any useful info from customer service. It seems like they focus on selling the product, but dont give a rats @ss about anything after the sale has been made.

First off, I would like to say that this product really isn't that great. I am African American and I picked the darkest shade, and it still was too light - so for all my brown sisters out there, this probably isn't going to work for you... But that's not the real problem. I ordered sheer cover about 5 months ago - I did the 30 day thing, read the small print, and "Cancelled" after my "Trial" was up. Since then, every single month they have charged my debit card almost $40, and every single month I call and tell them to give me my money back, and every single month they "Cancel" my account and sound very apologetic. I understand this is how they make their money, but when any respectable business gives you their word that they will do something about taking YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, they do it. In conclusion, I don't care that the product sucked for me, I just don't like people trying to pull one over on me. (I'm still angry, I just got off the phone with them for the 5th time)

I saw the Sheer cover product on t.v and decided to give it a try. I opted to take the 90 day supply deal and a sampler eyemake up/lipgloss for 120.00 in total, 3 charges to be made to my credit card. I also had to join the automatic kit renewal gimmic to get such a great price! So, I waited four weeks for my product and had a 65.00 charge to my card about one week after I ordered the kit. I was very open minded about the product, watched the dvd, and gave the product a chance. I sooned realized that the product and brushes are not worth the price I was paying. I contacted Sheer cover to verify the return address (Canada) and even though I was told what I could keep I was not taking any chances! I sent back everything by Registered mail (15.00) on Feb 15th, someone signed for it on Feb 19th. As of today, March 31st my credit card has been charged a total of 140.12 plus I have paid 15.00 for return shipping. I have checked with Sheer cover every second week to see when I would recieve a credit. Each time I was told they had not recieved the kit back from their Canadian distributor yet. But I should be getting a credit soon. So, I called again today and the rep was surprised that I hadn't recieved a credit yet, especially since the parcel had been sent by registerd mail. He put me on hold then came back on and said he just approved a refund and I should see the transaction within two days on my credit card. There seems to be a communication gap somewhere between the US and Canada, surely someone could have picked up a phone to say they recieved the returned kit from my account... I really don't understand why it would take 6 weeks. Quite frankly I am very skeptical that I will see a refund in the next few days for the full amount that I was charged, if I see any refund at all. My advice: save your money! There are much better products out there at your local pharmacy at 1/4 the price and you are not locked into automatic shipments or outragous shipping charges!

Hello, I have not yet ordered Sheer Cover, although after watching the infomercials, I was becoming more and more interested in doing so. I am glad I didn't. I wanted to come here and read some reviews, first. I am really surprised by all of the negative views. Of course, I assumed that there would be some, but so many? I think that for now, because of these negative reviews, I will hold off on purchasing Sheer Cover and just stick with the foundation that I've bought for years and am happy with. What I don't understand is why so many people charge this stuff to their credit cards, especially if they are trying it out for the first time. It is such a hassle to have them stop future charges if you wind up hating it. If I ever buy this or any other infomercial product, I will be ordering with a money order the first time, which is allowed. If it winds up that I like the product and want to continue purchasing, then that would be the time to use the credit card. Just a suggestion. Anyway, thanks to all who were honest in their reviews. This really does help a person out with the decision about purchasing a new product. Sherri

Poor overall. Poor make-up kit, poor application and very poor overall product. The claims are over-hyped. Your better off buying similar products at a box store for a lot less money & better service or even better..going to a MD (dermatologist)

I am a singer and my makeup has to look good both on and off stage. I also have quite a few problems that I have to deal with when choosing a makeup. First, it has to have really GOOD coverage because I have deep set eyes and really dark circles under them plus my skin is splotchy and my pores are large--yuck! On top of this my eyes are extremely sensitive and even the most hypo-allergenic makeups still make me "cry"... so I was very skeptical when ordering the Sheer Cover makeup but I can honestly say that from the first moment I tried it I was hooked. I don't have any problems what-so-ever with my eyes (no tears since I started using it) and it covers my dark circles and splotchy skin better than anything else I've tried and on top of this; each month when I typically get little breakouts due to my menstrual cycle-- with this makeup I don't have those breakouts. This past week at a concert I had a woman to comment that my face looked so pretty that it was like "porcelin" and my husband even commented that my skin is looking less "splotchy" even with the makeup off. In addition to this, I called Customer service to see about choosing a different shade since I had chosen the medium color and I thought I might need the light color until the summer months so they sent me out both the light cocealer and makeup at no charge just to try and see what shade was best for me. I have had nothing but good experiences with this company and their product.

Do Not Use This..... I recently purchased the 90-day intro kit for $9.95 plus shipping & handling for Order Total $17.90 however when I received my credit card statement I was charged $26.72 so I called customer service however they were not able to explain the difference. They kept on saying I purchased the whole product for $99.80 plus shipping and handling & tax for Order Total $116.64. Without my authorization they were going to divide the Total into 4 payments and charge me add'l $98.74 for the product I don't really use. I don't use makeup on a daily basis so I thought when I do put on a makeup this will be good however it only made my skin breakout and it doesn't cover as much as I thought. The customer service instructed me to send the product back however I founded out that I have to use my own money to send it back but you know what I don't want to get OVERCHARGED for a product that's not even good.

Ordered this product because it was a little cheaper than bare escentuals. It is not what I expected. It was cakey and not light like they claimed. It felt like I had a mask on. But they were very prompt on getting me my refund. Their customer service was great.

I have had this product for about a few years now, i dont use it everyday only once in a while. i dont use the concealer much either because it doesnt go great with my skin, but i like the coverage and the maeup, so its not that bad, i do understand about the breakouts alittle, bc that happened with me mostly bc of the concealer and if i dont wash my face good enough, but other than that i love it =D i guess it just depends on what type of skin you have.

I've been using Sheer Cover for about 6-months and I love it. I recently purchased the base perfector - it's incredible. It makes my skin so smooth and my face looks as good at the end of the day as it did in the morning. I've never had makeup last so long! The brushes do loose bristles, but I've been using the same brush for 6-months and it still does a good job, I don't think I'll need to replace it for at least another 6-months.
