It seems to me that my face is more shiny when I use Sheer Cover, I don't like to have a shiny face so this makeup isn't really for me. I like the current makeup I'm using I just wanted to try Sheer Cover because of what the infomerical says about its flawless finish but it seems to make my pores more noticeable. Everyone is different so its worth a try especially with the money back guarantee.

I saw the product on Tv so I said what the heck lets try it. Yes the first shipment is small. So I am thinking it will not last. Well the difference that I saw is that you do not need as much makeup to cover blemishes as you would when you use foundation and also if you live where I do the liquid will turn into puddy on your face because you can't breath. But with sheer cover I noticed that when it gets hot it does not change texture that easy. Yeah you have to touch it up during the day but I would rather do a touch up with a light powder than I would with more liquid foundation. Thats just me. No I realy do not have problem skin. Because I am 29 and all I have ever used on my face was Noxzema. Sheer cover did cover my blemishes but it was not easy the first time you have to do a trial and error. First you have to find your perfect shade can be tricky but once you get it then you are fine just like the liquid how many compacts did you have to buy to get the right shade? If you get the shade right you are fine. Thats what I did. I bought new brushes because they suck and I use my same favorite lipstick and eyeshadows, and mascara. The extra stuff they offer is not that great because thats not what there focus is. There focus is the concealer and the mineral powder. So I do not expect results from the other products. I find what works for me and stik to it and I found myself a new foundation. So when you find something that works stick to it and it does not mean buy everything from the same company. because one item from that one line of cosmetics can give you a bad tase about the rest of the make up line. Overall I am very happy with the new foundation that I purchased.

I've been using this product for 4 months now and I love putting it on my face daily. I was in search for a make-up I could wear everyday to cover my blotchy skin and blemishes. Something that would improve my skin and not cause a breakout. I have tried plenty of cream and powder foundations and I would breakout the same amount or more. I saw the infommercial and a couple bad ratings but thought, there was nothing to lose. Less breakouts and even skin is what I have experienced. NOTHING has improved my skin as much as Sheer Cover. Even my husband noticed! :) I put very little on my brush and apply 2 to 3 times to acheive the skin tone and evenness I want. If you put too much, it WILL look cakey. Duh. Once it settles on my face (about a couple of minutes) it looks like nothing is on. My previous rating was voted more fake than real but I am backing it up once again. I love this on my face, it works well on my oily skin. If you get shiny like me, apply the mineral powder first, mineral foundation second and powder again last. I have recommended this to 3 of my sisters-in-law and my mom. The foundation brush could be better, it does its job. The other two brushes, concealer and contouring, are fine, I like 'em. I also tried Bare Escentuals but they are pricier and works just the same. I do like BE's brushes. Overall, I still rate this product 5 stars.

When I ordered Sheer Cover I couldn't wait to try it. It took more than 5-7 days like they said and I called and they told me they were waiting on 1 product for the kit and it would be out asap. Well, I was a little upset I hadn't been notified before-hand b/c I was expecting it around the time they TOLD ME it would arrive! Anyhow, I got the package and it was missing one of the products anyhow w/ a note that said it would be in w/ the next shipment or I could call and they would ship it as it became available. So this was my 2nd time calling them, but I have to say they were very nice and helpful, I have yet to see how long it takes for the bronzer to come in tho. Now, actually using the product...I did in fact like it. The concealer was awesome when it came to getting the purplish bags underneath my eyes. I thought the cleanser and moisterizer really helped with the redness too. The actual product doesn't end up cakey as long as you really only use a small amount at a time with real light strokes. I agree with some things I have read too, like the bristles on the brush falling out. Yeah, that's real profeesional studio quality there lol. I also changed how often I recieve it to only every 6 months, b/c I don't wear makeup everyday, but b/c I have had a good experience with this product I may need to change it to more often, but really I try to use as little as possible of all the products as to save $$. Do I thin they have some minor tweaking to do? Sure, but overall I'm a happy customer.

I bought this product a few months ago and I am satisfied with the quality. I don't think this make up is for older women or women with skin issues. It works best on women with clear skin who want something extra on those special occasions and don't usually wear make up. So my advice is if you have great skin already this product is for you. If not keep searching.

Read this before you think about buying Sheer Cover. I don't normally buy infomercial products, but the Sheer Cover ad sounded amazing. On arrival I found something different. Firstly, this is not 100% mineral foundation as claimed in the ad, it in fact comes with a cream concealer, which you have to use in order to gain the little coverage that this product gives you. The powders alone are useless. The brush literally fell apart when I first used it. The amount they give you is in lip-balm sized pots and looks like it'll probably only last a week or so. Never mind the £30 - I would be dissapointed in this product if I had bought it from Poundland! It's horrible, it does the complete opposite to the ad, as I said, to get any coverage you would have to cover your face with the cream concealer - the powders themselves do nothing but exaggerate wrinkles, pores and lines. My daugher is 19, and has a similar skin tone, and tried it, and it made her look like a 40 year old woman! I called to cancel the following day and claim my "60 day money back guarantee". but when I next got my credit card bill £100 had been taken out in the past 3 months, and I hadn't even received a thing. When I called to complain they had no recollection of charging me, so I faxed them a copy of my bill, together with a letter threatening to get the police involved, the woman on the other end then assured me that I "would get 3 months supply within the next 2 weeks." "BUT I DON'T WANT IT, I WANT A REFUND!" I screamed down the phone. "Sorry, but you had to have cancelled within 60 days." Rubbish! I had called to cancel the day after receiving it, though I should have recorded the conversation, now I have no evidence to take to the police. To those who are being scammed: RECORD YOUR PHONE CALLS, contact the channel showing the infomercial, and the police. The owner of Sheer Cover is rolling around in our money right now, probably using it to add to her extensive amount of plastic surgery on her already plastic face. I can't beleive Sheer Cover is getting away with this. If enough people contact police and authorities, something can be done!

UPDATE: I forgot to add in my previous review that it does not cover birthmarks. I have a nickle sized birth mark on the upper corner of my forehead and after seeing Shannon on TV covering her's I was excited to get this product. Mine is a little darker, but nothing I did covered it up! Don't believe the TV magic!

DO NOT BUY! If you sweat even a little it cakes up all over your face. I was so embarrassed when someone pointed out how cakey it looked under my eyes and I wear glasses. It clumps up on your skin. I am so fair and couldn't find a color that wasn't too dark as well. The brush alone will give you more red marks on your face...what is it made of? I tried the Bareminerals and love it! Much better quality and way better coverage of my acne. The concealer is also a powder, so it doesn't cake up. Think about it...using a foundation type concealer and then putting powder over it. It doesn't cover under eye circles either. Can't say enough bad things about it.

I purchased this product about 9 months ago and have loved it. At first it was a little cakey but I realized I was using too much. A little mineral powder goes a long way and looks amazing. I have tried the physician's formula and the everyday minerals but wasn't happy with the product performance. Sheer Minerals sent me a different shade of mineral powder and concealer at no charge because the ones I had seemed to be a little dark. I have sinced ordered other products from their line, not just the concealer and mineral powder. Everything is awesome and the customer service has been great. With a money back guarantee, you have nothing to lose. Just don't over do it on the powder and I think you'll be happy with the product! It takes me about 5 minutes at the most to get my face ready. Who doesn't have 5 minutes? Even us busy moms.

Okay so I bought this product looking for nice coverage that didn't look to caked on. But when I tried it, it left my face looking as if I had tons of make up on and oily. I have never had that look with other products I've tried. And the brush was soooo BAD. Not a quality brush at all. I have been a makeup artist for a long time and I would not recommend this to anyone. I did enjoy bare minerals better quality if you are looking for a mineral based foundation. If not stick with a liquid based foundation.

I bought the Sheer Cover kit while being skeptical over trying another make up line. But when it arrived I washed my face with the cleanser and followed the steps. I gotta tell you girls, it's really a wonderful make-up! My favorites are the concealer and the conditioning cleanser. I use the concealer all over my face to hide red blotchy areas and acne scars. Although Sheer Cover isnt a magic eraser, it sure does make my complection look 20 times better, much better than MAC* or other expensive make-up line ever did. If you look real closely at my face you can still see imperfections, but from a short distance I do look flawless. I dont mind catching a glimpse of myself in a mirror now. And it feels like I'm wearing nothing. I wasnt overly impressed with the lip glosses and eye shadow, I thought they could use a denser color, but I still use my Clinq*e products for my lips and eye shadow. The mineral base in this line are definite keepers for me. The concealer is just fantastic. I even gave my 15 year old niece a make over and then ordered a sampler kit for her. She loved the look as well. With a 60 day money back guarantee, you have nothing to lose in giving this one a try.

I liked the coverage and how it looks and feels on my skin however I do not like having to mix the colors everyday to apply makeup. It is messy and time consuming with 2 small children I need a fast make up. I will use it for evenings out or special occasions when I have more time to get ready.

I have been using Sheer Cover for about 2 years and I am pretty satisfied. I do agree that the brush could use some improvements. I always have bristles on my face. One thing I recommend though is more concealer. The concealer is amazing. One thing that has bothered me is travel brush and how hard it is to get the powder into it. I wish there was a way you can lift the cover where the mineral powder comes from. When it gets low it is hard to get the last bit out. I get compliments on my skin all the time and haven't had issues with the fine lines showing.

I Love It because it is all I expected and more. After a couple of tries, I've mastered the technique just like the dvd shows and I'm hooked. I don't have the cakey thing going on as some have mentioned. Use a lighter hand girls! You aren't painting it on. Your lightly buffing. I like the cleanser as well, very non-irritating and the moisturizer is just right for my super sensitive skin. I bought the medium colors and they are perfect. I dig the travel brush. After a 10 hour day, a quick touch up with the travel brush lets me look great for evening in seconds.

Wow, I finally found makeup that feels silky smooth on my face. Even after I read bad ratings, I went for it. I am happy with my purchase. Customer service was great as well. I rec'd my items within days and even when I requested a darker shade of mineral and concealer, there were no questions asked. My favorite is the concealer because I have blemishes in my T-zone. Sheer Cover evens out my skin tone without the cakey look. I have less breakouts compared to other expensive ones I've used. I give this product 5 stars!

I had seen the sheer cover infomercial several times but didn't have the guts to order it for a long time. I finally ordered it about a month and a half ago and it came pretty quickly. The first time I put it on I wasn't too thrilled. It was good, but not like on tv. But then after a few days of practicing it seemed to look better on my skin. I have always used liquid foundation and I was used to that cakey feeling all the time. That is the best thing about this make up. It's not cakey at all. And now that I am a month into it, I love it. I actually almost ran out because my shipment was due to come in while I was on vacation and tried to use my old makeup to save my sheer cover for vacation, and I hated it! That is the real test. Trying to go back to the old stuff. Long story short I am very satisfied so far with the make-up, the foundation, not so much the eye shadow. I would recommend anyone try this product, it really is great and different from anything else I've tried.

The foundation was too light. I love the concealer, it is great. I e mailed them that i had gotten a light shade and if i could return it for no extra cost. They said not to worry about returning it, they would send me a darker shade aBsoUlutley FREE!.

The way this product cleared up a girls birthmark on tv made me thing it would help with my skin. I have a pink skin tone and i would give my right arm to get rid of it. Even though the concealer was EXCELLENT i was not impressed with the foundation at all. I was still pink unless i wanted to use the concealer all over my face. I thought the foundation felt chaulky and i wasnt impresses with the lip gloss or eye products except the eyeliner. It gives you a much more natural look than the greese pencils. The face wash was ok..it didnt make my face feel dry but it wasnt out of this world like the infomercial.

So wish i had looked on here before i bought it! its true what most people are saying it really enhances any lines you have making you look far older(i am 38yrs) my husband noticed straight away! also the bristles on brush do come out easy! i have sent product back hoping for a refund! i would definetly not recommend but would like to see what its like on a 20yr old? who probably doesnt need it any way!!
