I purchased sheer cover from the website b/c i wanted to try a mineral make up that would be better than the brand i buy at the drug store. I made the mistake of getting sheer cover versus bare escentuals because it was slightly cheaper. The coverage was ok when i first put it on, but i ended up with no coverage at all by the end of the day. i have very oily skin so maybe that is why it didnt last. (the drug store brands last all day if i use an oil blotter). I tried it for a couple of days and my skin started breaking out all over. i do have sensitive skin, but the drug store brands dont make me break out as much as this product. I think for now i will stick with l oreal bare minerals. dont bother with this product. spend the extra 30$ and get the good stuff. (i borrowed bare escentuals once from my sister and that was 100 times better than this). I will say that the customer service wasnt bad. the order was shipped very fast, and i just called to cancel the auto ships. i hope i dont have the same problem as others, where they continue to charge you even after you cancel.

The infomercial looks so impressive. Could it really work like that? I had to try this. I am very sorry I did. The coverage is just that. Sheer. It covers nothing. Unless you build so many layers that it looks heavy and chalky. I am 34. I thought it made my skin look even more aged. I think it might work nice for teens/early 20's if they have relatively nice skin to start with and want a very light coverage, no make-up look. A little loose powder might do the same thing for them. It made my skin feel dry and itchy. -Kind of dusty/dirty. I really couldn't wait to wash it off at the end of the day; I felt more aware of it on my face all day than any liquid foundation I've tried. It doesn't even hide very light age spots. The concealer was nice and dense, covers reasonably well, but can't be used to even out your entire skin tone before applying the foundation, which is practically what you'd have to do to get a flawless look. None of the shades (foundation/concealer) seem to be a good match for my skin color/tone, but others may have better luck with that. In all fairness, some of the other products offered I was happy with. Their eyeliner is difficult to learn how to apply, but completely worth it. It rocks! It is very blendable and doesn't tug as hard in the delicate eye area as a pencil would. I thought their brush for applying it is over priced and built with too thick of tip. I wanted a lighter more precise line and found a cheap artists fine lining brush works much better - available anywhere art/craft stuff is sold for $2-$3. The lip glosses (in the more nuetral colors) have a soft pretty look and aren't sticky, especially appreciated if you have long hair. I saw nothing special about the skin care products. The brushes were acceptable quality. $30 isn't a bad price to try it. The main reason I am sorry I ordered, is that they keep repeatedly (unauthorized) charging my credit card and I'm not sure how to make them stop. I feel ripped off and wonder if I will ever recover any of my money. Also note they always ship things way earlier than the expected date so they arrive long before you'd have a chance to cancel.

After I used sheer cover for the first time my face felt like an oily mess. And after I washed it off my face started breaking out in these huge red bumps as if I were having an allergic reaction. Plus the customer service is horrible. They make it seem so easy and hassle free to pay for the product, but to get a refund is a totally different story.

I ordered this product b/c I was curious to try a mineral based make up. The coverage was marginal at best and did make my dry skin look dryer and was nearly impossible to apply in humid weather. What killed me was the price. Every month I was charged $29.99!In the last 2 months my account was charged over $70. The make up, brushes and cleanser ARE NOT WORTH $70.

I have NO idea what they put in this product but my skin is STILL recovering. I completly broke out and now my face is a blackhead MESS. It did look OK on but was greasy or something -- I really want to try Bare Mineral but I'm scared because of what this did to my face!!!

I tried the product and it did not cover my age spots, which is less visible than a birthmark. The infomercial was misleading and their customer service presents a "Boiler Room" attitude environment. Cancelling an order before it ships is impossible. It's best to cancel your debit card or credit card immediately to avoid the billing scam. I suggest writing a letter directly to their invoice department to terminate your account instead of calling their customer service.

I have tried several brands of mineral foundation. Sheer Cover is the one that works best for me. The shade matched my skin tone best, and the coverage is perfect for minor imperfections. Less is more in order to avoid a powdery look. Each of us is different, I recommend it, but check it out for yourselves.

I just laugh when I read all these negative comments! I guess no one saw the DVD! You have to apply it in a circular motion to get it just right. You have to apply the concealer to your flaws first and then the minerals. And I also think no one read the fine lines-that clearly state the first kit is a STARTER one for 30DAYS!! After that you pay for a minimum of 4 things and a max of 10 in the create-a-kit membership. I got the cheapest stuff (including the mineral powder) for $60. You "lock in" the low price of $30 for the powders, the starter kit was only $29.95 for the powders and you get the rest of the stuff as extras. Also, the brushes are great and I love them, I guess you ladies are scrubbing your faces with them or something. And no i'm not fake, and do not have perfect skin. I have acne prone and oily skin and this stuff covers that up and lets my skin breathe!! I have talked with 2 customer service agents and have gotten nothing but help and courteousness! []

I was first gained interest in sheerover from a Sunday morning infomercial, but I didn't purchase the product right away. One day i was in [] and saw the sheercover and since I was in a wedding the next week I thought I would give it a shot. I really liked it, the first application wasn't the greatest but the key is to use as little as possible and my skin tone and other flaws were almost non-exsistent. If you want to try it I would suggest buying it from [] first since everyone's skin is different and then you can see if it works for you before getting sucked in to the montly payments. It's a little more, I think i paid 34.99 but it was well worth it and i am going to order from sheercover really soon. I don't have many wrinkles so I don't know how it works for that but minor flaws and uneven skintones, it definately does the trick. Just remember do not cake it on for the flawless finish. Enjoy!!!

UPDATE: ok i am back. just want to let you all know that what i wrote a few weeks ago concerning sheer cover is not fake. I am the black american from france who wrote in a few weeks ago. i am totally loving this product. it is a joy to apply everyday and it is long lasting. it takes a little time to get the perfect mixture, but once you get it down, it is totally worth the purcase... this is the gospel truth. This product does not work. It does not cover anything and makes you look older (sits in the lines and cakes). Its also makes you shine and breaks out your skin (I have sensitive skin). Additionally, the company has a scam in place that does not let you cancel the order because "its being processed and can't be found." They then charge your credit card repeatedly without authorization. I called and spoke to many of the customer service people and they were rude and very disrespectful. The supervisors were even worse. There was a supervisor named "Jessica" who was a horrible woman clearly compensated by blocking refunds and participating in the scam. It seems that all they want is to get their hands on your credit card information. Stay away! At least you have now been warned.

I ordered sheercover a month ago. The products came in a small box. The mineral powder barely covers anything and made my pores more noticeable. I was looking in the mirror in the washroom the other day and I was almost shocked that the sheercover foundation made my pores so noticeable. It looked really horrible on my face. If you want to use sheercover, I would suggest to use it with your regular liquid or other foundation you have. It's only good for touch-up. Otherwise, sheercover itself won't really do anything to your face. The informacial was too exaggerated. Especially my friends told me that it's too shiny on my face and it makes my skin look really oily at the same time. The one thing that really upset me was that they charged on my credit card for the 2nd time and sent me another package that I didn't even order. There was a letter saying that they will charge me again 3rd time. I was really disappointed that they use customer's credit card information this way not asking for my permission. I feel really insecure so I had to change my credit card number. I called the customer service right away and told them to stop charging me and sending packages and I had to cancel my account with them. I just wasted my money on shipping back the stupid package. Just use whatever you see in the department store like Channel, Shisheido, Clinique, Mac, Christian Dior, Bobby Brown etc etc... It was my first time ordering something from informarcial and it's been just frustrating.

Iam a black american woman living in france for the past 27 years. It has been difficult finding make-up here for the black woman. I ofcourse started out with fashion fair then shiseido then i fell on mac which was great... then i saw the infomercial for sheer cover and i flew to the phone to order. Customer service was great...i received my order in less then a week. Now i am an avid noxema girl since the age of 12.... i am 51. do the math... i washed my face with the cleanser and saw a glow that i have never seen. I applied the make-up and just felt like a princess. My skin was radiant, the make-up was perfect. My skin looked like new skin... It lasts all day and a little goes a long way. My skin looks radiant and as if i have no make-up on at all. Just a natural looking glow and it feels like i have nothing on my face. I LOVE IT

I tried Sheer Cover this morning. The coverage just wasn't there. I looked at myself in a department store mirror after I left the house and saw a bare face in need of some make-up. I am 57 with light skin tone and dark circles. The product settled in the lines around my eyes. The lip glosses are for a teeny-bopper. Too little product, not enough promises kept. I am returning everything for a refund.

I am only 31 and have a few small wrinkles under my eyes. Sheer cover made them look worse! The make up blended with my skin tone and the brush worked fine, but I hate how it exaggerates even small lines. My liquid foundation has never done this and I have returned to using it. No one wears make up to look older! This product would probably be best for teens and twenty-somethings who have no wrinkles yet!

hi i'm 13yrs old and i just got Sheer Cover yesturday. I was so excited to put it on and i did. The problem was i didn't see the dvd. so when i put it on the 1st time, it made my face look cakey. so i watched the dvd and put it on the right way. now i love it and i don't use alot even though i have acne. and they must have fixed the brushes cuz mine didn't fall apart at all! just letting everyone know, i use the dark shade.

It seems to me that my face is more shiny when I use Sheer Cover, I don't like to have a shiny face so this makeup isn't really for me. I like the current makeup I'm using I just wanted to try Sheer Cover because of what the infomerical says about its flawless finish but it seems to make my pores more noticeable. Everyone is different so its worth a try especially with the money back guarantee.

I saw the product on Tv so I said what the heck lets try it. Yes the first shipment is small. So I am thinking it will not last. Well the difference that I saw is that you do not need as much makeup to cover blemishes as you would when you use foundation and also if you live where I do the liquid will turn into puddy on your face because you can't breath. But with sheer cover I noticed that when it gets hot it does not change texture that easy. Yeah you have to touch it up during the day but I would rather do a touch up with a light powder than I would with more liquid foundation. Thats just me. No I realy do not have problem skin. Because I am 29 and all I have ever used on my face was Noxzema. Sheer cover did cover my blemishes but it was not easy the first time you have to do a trial and error. First you have to find your perfect shade can be tricky but once you get it then you are fine just like the liquid how many compacts did you have to buy to get the right shade? If you get the shade right you are fine. Thats what I did. I bought new brushes because they suck and I use my same favorite lipstick and eyeshadows, and mascara. The extra stuff they offer is not that great because thats not what there focus is. There focus is the concealer and the mineral powder. So I do not expect results from the other products. I find what works for me and stik to it and I found myself a new foundation. So when you find something that works stick to it and it does not mean buy everything from the same company. because one item from that one line of cosmetics can give you a bad tase about the rest of the make up line. Overall I am very happy with the new foundation that I purchased.
