Awesome

4/12/2008 - Jody of Alberta, Canada writes:

Used for the 1st time today--loved it! Worked well and fun & easy to use. Did need to fill quite often, but this is quick & easy and heats up within seconds. As cloth got dirty, replaced--used 4 to do whole house. Floor dries very quickly, but not instantaneously. Worked VERY well on hardwood, not perfect on lino, i.e. floor has irregular surface--didn't get dirt in the indentations. Doesn't get right into corners all that well, but neither does a mop & bucket. Overall, was very effective, easy & fun!

Works!

4/12/2008 - Linda of Michigan, USA writes:

Mop works very well. I found folding a small hand towel & attaching to mop head with rubber bands elimnates all streaking. Towel is also easier to throw in the wash with a regular load.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

4/11/2008 - Karen of CA, USA writes:

We have white linoleum floors in our kitchen and bathroom and cleaning them is a major chore. My biggest complaint is that this mop advertises "deep cleaning" and at best it's a "light" cleaning. The pad was not absorbant, it seemed to push dust around rather than absorb. It didn't pick up scuff marks that I was able to removed with a dust rag and some soap and water. This mop may be good for picking up cleaning product residue AFTER you've scoured your floors by hand but it's certainly does not clean a floor on it's own -let alone "deep clean" as it claims.

I LOVE IT

This works as promised. It did not streak our wood floors. I will tell everyone we know about this. Was well worth the price and so easy to use.

best info product yet.

4/4/2008 - trisha of Ohio, USA writes:

I have mostly hard surface with little carpeting. I love this steamer. I actually had a steam machine that I bought several years ago and did not like it. I usually took out the mop & bucket instead. I wasn't expecting much, however....I LOVE IT. One of the few products that really work. It did not leave my floors wet like other products. Worked on stone and on my wood floors. I don't let the unit sit on my wood while it is heating up. One thing I would recommend is buying an extra pack of pads and use distilled water. I would rate this a five star.

They are a scam!!

4/4/2008 - Edahlia of Florida, USA writes:

Do not waste your money! This product does not clean your floors at all it only streaks them! Especially hard wood floors! It make them look old and dull! They will need waxing when your done using that mop! And good luck trying to get your money back! I order this over the t.v. in January 5,2008 & I am still waiting for my refund! I shipped their product back on Jan 10,2008. My new moto is..if you can't see it to buy in a store then don't buy from the t.v. This way you don't set yourself up to be scammed!

Major Disappointment

3/31/2008 - Karen of TX, USA writes:

This product does not work! Don't waste time or money thinking that maybe it will work for you. My mop had no real steam, but only dribbled luke warm water that just wet the floor. A wet rag would have been just has effective. Also, the cheap plastic handle broke on the first use.

Not so great

3/30/2008 - Courtney of Florida, USA writes:

I was really excited about this product having a new baby in the house and wanting a mop that would disinfect the floors. However, I am sad to say that the Shark Steam Mop is no better than the Swifter Mop. The infomercial was way off base on the quality of this product. It DOES NOT clean grout, it DOES leave the floor wet with streaks. The cloth does not pick up very much, it leaves little groups of dust everywhere (even though I sweep and vacuum before). I find myself using the Swifter more than the Shark just out of connivence except when I'm out of Swifter spray. Save your $80.

awesome product

3/27/2008 - amy of sc, usa writes:

I have hard wood floors and for years have used orange glow but find it takes a while to apply that product and now it is becoming hard to find. getting this steam mop has saved my floors. I noticed a little cloudiness, but it dries fast and is much better on my floors than a mop. the only thing I do not like are the pads cause the top tends to bunch up but other than this is a gret product for those with hard wood floors

Works better than i thought

3/26/2008 - Page of Georgia, USA writes:

i bought this steam mop because my aunt has one. it does an awesome job. i tell everyone i know to get it. the only problem that i had was with the handle. it isnt made very good. i broke the handle on the first one & all i had to do was call the company & i had a new one in three days... with free shipping. best thing if all is that you don't have to return the old one, so that means no repacking & taking to the post office. it really is a great item. i love it!!!! they retail for 79.00 but on [] you can get it for 59.00 with free shipping.

Needs improvement

3/25/2008 - mary of ct, USA writes:

I used the steam mop after seeing it on TV. I know it did not do everything they said it could. Some of the simpliest scuff marks did not come off, and the grout on my kitchen floor did not even come close to being clean again. I thought the worst part was having to stop and fill it up constantly. There is no reason why the water tank couldn't be much bigger than it is. Also, the cord was way too short. All in all, I think it did a good job on the hardwood floors and especially the bathroom floors. Everything seemed to be much cleaner. After all, it was all in the pad.

IT WAS A DISSAPPOINTMENT

3/24/2008 - Lina of FLORIDA, USA writes:

Very dissapointed!!! Its does not remove hardly any stains. On top of it, the company has recharged my company and I have paid double of what I was suppose to. Horrible customer service and not a good product- please beware buyers not a good deal!

Disappointed!

3/24/2008 - C. of WI, USA writes:

I purchased the Shark Steam Mop and believed it was the answer to all my mopping prayers. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed in this product and all that it claimed to clean. After using it 3 consecutive times in one afternoon, I ended back to cleaning my floors the old fashioned way! Also, I found it to be very time consuming. Return it, is the only solution!

Just what I was looking for

3/24/2008 - Neysa of Arizona, USA writes:

This is exactly what I was looking for. A better way to clean and sterilize the floors for my 2 year old and we have a small dog. Quick, easy and no mess. With in 15 - 20 minutes I am able to clean my kitchen, living room and bathroom area and know that it is free of sippy cup spillage and everything that has been on my daughters hands! The only thing I would recommend is to purchase additional pads in the beginning and also make sure the pad is placed on the mop correctly or it doesn't clean as well. Just went on line and purchased another one for my mother in law - it is light, easy to operate and chemical free!

Still waiting on refund

I bought this and was very dissappointed. It left the floor wet and then left a cloudy film on the floor. Still waiting for my money back after 2 months.

Amazing

3/15/2008 - Chelsey of South Carolin, USA writes:

I bought this product from a local Target store and have absolutely loved it. I have two young children and it works great on the mess they create. It doesn't take long to heat up and generates a lot of steam. When you finish cleaning your floors and flip the mop over the pad will show you just how ineffective your typical mop is. I would buy this product over again. The only complaint I have is that the water container is a little small but it doesn't take but a minute to refill the compartment and you are off to cleaning again!!!!

Warning!

3/14/2008 - Malu Lopez of Norwalk, CA, USA writes:

I'm warning everyone not to order this product online. This product will reap you off. I bought it online, and to my amaze it does not leave up to what the infomercial says it can do. It just blew steam and wet my linoleum floor but did not clean it. Mopping my floor did a better job. I returned the product, guess what I got charged for both S & H for trying this product ($40). If you want to try it buy it at your local store.

Disappointed

3/14/2008 - Rob of Iowa, USA writes:

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago and I every time I use it my frustration mounts. The Shark picks up very little dirt but it does spread alot around. Any dog hair or dirt that I miss when sweeping is spread around in big clumps by the "microfibre pad". I don't know what the retailers return policy is on this, but if I can find the receipt it is going back. Please think twice before you make the same mistake I did.

Mop No Good

3/13/2008 - Nanci Geiger of Vermont, USA writes:

I thought the commerical was good, I ordered a Shark steam mop, I used it and it was a great disappointment. It was said that it's a "superior cleaning & sanitizing mop", I strongly disagree.

Worked just as I expected!

3/12/2008 - Liz of NH, United States writes:

I love it! I have tile, hardwood & laminate. The water heats up quick and the floor dries fast. Of course you have to vaccum, it's not a vaccum cleaner...it's a mop. The first few uses I had streaks but realized very quickly that this was left behind from past floor cleaners. The streaks are gone after 3-4 cleanings. I wish it had a longer cord & came with more cleaning pads.
