It was giving to me as a present, and I have to say...it is better than using a cotton/sponge mop. The floor dries a lot faster. No more cleaning out mop buckets. Thanks Shark Steamer

This is great. And for all of you that don't like refilling, go get a old, nasty, bacteria infected mop and go back to rinsing and over and over. And for those of you that complain about not getting in the grout, evediently had just left it dirty too long. It cleans mine grout great. You just have to use the steam and it comes right up. For greasy floors, ad some vinegar in the water. Safe for kids and pets. I just throw the pads in the washer and dryer when done, if you don't think they look clean enough, add a little bleach, wash on hot water and it makes a big difference. The pads are clean after you wash them so just because the still look dirty, it's because of what came off your floor before you cleaned it. Great product.

After watching the infomercial over & over again, I purchased this mop at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I absolutely love it! I have laminate and ceramic tile floors. I have always had trouble cleaning my laminate floors. I used this mop and it just did an incredible job cleaning them. So much better than the mop and cleaner too!

I used it on hardwood, tile and vinyl floorings. no streaks,& dried quickly. I think it is a bit high priced and i don't like that you have to order the floor and/or carpet attachments. that is not a convenience. I'm happy with the way it quickly steam cleans the floors. "o)

We bought the Shark Steam Mop after see my sister us one on her tile floors this thanksgiving. We have boys and it is absolutly wonderful for there bathroom floors. It took a few uses to get the dirt out of the grout but it did get it out and keeps it out. It leaves the floors a little damp for a while but no more than a good mopping. We love ours.

I just bought this mop a few days ago and tried it yesterday. I have a very large tile area, including kitchen, entry, family room, hallway, and bathrooms. I also have four small children who are pretty messy. I usually don't like to sweep and mop, especially when it doesn't feel like it helps. When I used a mop & bucket or the pads, I noticed that after the floor was dry, my feet would still get dirty, either from the dirt being spread around, or the chemicals. It was very irritating. After using the Shark mop yesterday, I noticed my feet actually stayed clean after I used it. It did take a little more time, because you have to go a little slower, and for stuck on dirt, you have to let the mop steam the area for a few seconds. But at least I know it's working! I did not have any problem with the mop leaving streaks. The water didn't dry instantly, but it was still a lot faster than with a bucket of water. I love it so far and can't wait to clean the bathroom that my boys use!

I love this mop! It was a birthday gift believe it or not a few months ago. I have used [] for years but have always felt bad because I have small children and I always wondered if it was safe for them to crawl around on the floor even after the solution was dry. I mop ever single night but when I got this and used it, I couldn't believe the crud that came up off my floor and that was right after using the []! Yes, you do have to refill the water if you do a larger area and yes, it will leave some crud lines on your floor, especially in the bathroom but I just sweep that up with a broom afterwards. I also don't feel bad when my little ones crawl across my floors, knowing that I just cleaned the floors with water only. I haven't noticed any streaking and I also have hardwood and it leaves them clean and shiny. I think you have to use it more than once to get all the build up off your floors from the products you have been using. I would buy this product again and again!

If you want steam clean that dries almost instantly, this product is for you! A mop is dirty, germ ladened, streaky and inconvenient. Plus it leaves dirty water on and around base boards. Yuck! [] uses chemicals and needs new pads all of the time. What a waste of money! The Shark is steam clean. The pads only need washing. It doesn't leave streaks if you use distilled water.

UPDATE: The shark steam mop does not clean like the commercial and the cord is too short. Also misleading, they say if you order extra pads, you receive free shipping and handling (S&H). This is not true, it is only free for the pads which comes in the box with the steam mop that charges $25 for S&H. Refunds takes 2 months with no guarantee that it will occur even after returning all items.

Purchased the mop, received it promptly and was looking forward to it. It is highly overrated in the infomercial. I returned it after only 3 days-gave it a fair chance. I manged to get a refund of the 2 payments I had been billed. Wish it had worked. Don't waste your time; plus you lose the shipping of $15.95 even if you manage to get a refund.

I have been waiting for [] to get these in to purchase one. Did just that tonight. Came home and tried it out - the first thing I noticed was how flimsy it felt. I didn't think it cleaned any better than a mop and left my kitchen floor dull and on closer expection streaky. I wouldn't even consider using it on my 80plus year old original wood floors. I'll stick with the hardwood floor cleaning kit for those. I can't reccomend this product even though I highly anticipated it working wonders.

Used it five times, it did not dry the floor as shown on TV, left it wet and streaked. On fifth use I smelled burning wire and then it quit working. Second Shark product, second bummer - lesson learned.

2700 sq ft. of tile saw the commercials thought great an easier way to clean all this tile. Leaves dirt and streaks everywhere and yes I sweep and or vacumn prior to use. Might work on small areas but I wouldn't reccomend it for large areas at all. Doesn't even begin to touch the grout!

I recently purchased a Shark Steam Mop after seeing it on TV. I ordered it online from BestBuy. The mop does a good job overall on my laminate floors. Stubborn or sticky spots need to be gone over at least a second time though. After washing the pads in the washing machine I found they did not look clean. For me the biggest annoyance about the mop is the cord. It seems to just get in the way! All things considered I would recommend the mop for it's ease of use. It beats the old mop and bucket by a long shot and I like that it doesn't use chemicals and leave a sticky residue.

So far so good I live in a apartment building.. and when i moved here 7 months ago,the tile floor in kithen and bathroom was old , nasty looking ,,, no matter what i did just couldn't get them to look no better, i am will say i used it on both tile floors and clean a room of carpet in my 2 puppys room i it smells now like a dog never even been in the room ,,, It is trully great, just wish it came with a bigger tank, and clothes you can buy from the store, or make some disposible ones.

It works great! We live in military housing and have weird fake wood flooring on the whole bottom floor. It got the gunk out of the grooves, gets out stains if you let it steam for about 15 seconds... dries quickly! I love it!!! Even my kids love it and anything that gets them to clean has my vote!!

I bought this hoping to shorten the time needed to clean floors and it has done that! I love the ease and that it does a wonderful job on my grouted tile and hardwoods! It is easy to use and leaves the floor clean and dry. If I used it for nothing but the tile floors it would be worth the money, that it works so well on the hardwoods is a bonus. Some have said the water reservior is small, I don't think so. If it were bigger it would be heavier possibly making it harder for elderly, or handicapped to use.

I was very disappointed with this product. It did not perform as promised. I found it no more effective than a Swiffer mop yet it it was much more expensive and cumbersome to use. It did not do any deep cleaning as advertised. It took up only surface dirt and left even some of that behind.
