I purchased the Shark Steam Mop from the TV. Big mistake on my part. I did like the results from the mop. I had hairspray on my bathroom floor that I could not remove. I even got on my hand and knees with a scrub brush and it would not come up. The steam mop removed it the first try. That was wonderful, however, when I took the pad off the handle broke in half. I boxed it back up and sent it right back. Yes, I paid shipping both ways. I made a payment of $51.90 but only received $25.90 back. I did not know the shipping cost was $25.00. That’s just a bit on the pricey side. To send the mop back only cost $10.00 and that was because I insured it.

I just bought this shark steam mop and I liked it because I don't have to get on my knees which are bad. I didn't like the cord getting in the way. Would like to know where do you get the distilled water? Name stores please? Please let me know if you had a hard time getting the dirt off the pad when placed in the washer. My floors weren't very dirty but the pad still has some dirt on it after being washed.

I think this is a great product. I recommended it to all my friends. I've used it on tile floors and also my hardwood. Of course my house is usually clean so for those that are "dirty" you might not think it works well. The only thing i am a little hesitant about is that it does put off a lot of steam and it concerns me around my wood cabinets.

Watched the infomercial and decided to give it a try. I have tile, no wax floors and sealed hardwood. What is the use of using on tile if it does not clean grout? And you can not use on no wax floors which is what most floors are now! I watched the infomercial very closely again. In the demo I noticed the woman mentioned how well it cleaned grout and the man who was demonstarting said nothing. Plus if you look the "mess" is only on the tiles, not in the grout. Plus they never mention not being able to use on no wax floors. In fact they state you can use it on any floor except unsealed wood! Very deceptive! I returned mine to the store I purchased it at. I purchased it localy so I would not be stuck with paying for S&H both ways if it did not stand up to its claims. Very glad I did! Gives infomercials a bad name.

This product was a piece of junk. It spit dirty steam all over my tile and hard wood floors, I had to go back over them with a regular mop. my swifter worked 100 times better and was much cheeper. its just another cheep piece of plastic from china with about a $30.00 shipping and handling charge. shame on me for getting sucked into the excited fat man's hype on the infomercial.

I just bought the Steam Mop after seeing the commercial many times. I used it on my laminate floors and it worked pretty well. I did have to go over the floor twice to get it clean without streaking, but I'm chalking that up to the fact that the Wet Jet we were using had left a residue that was tough to get up. The second time I mopped the floor though, it came very clean. The pads do need to be changed after only one floor worth of cleaning, so I think the company should offer additional pads at a much lower cost. $30 for three extra pads is a ridiculuosly high price considering the mop itself costs $80. I would definately buy it from a local store to save on shipping. $80 is enough money for this product and if I had to pay shipping in addition to the cost, I probably would not have purchased it. While it does work well, it does seem a bit on the flimsy side and I hope it holds up to repeated uses.

I purchased this product becuase I am tired of the old mop, bucket, and cleaning solutions. I found this product easy enough to use that my 9 year-old could use it without making a mess! I am happy with my purchase, but I wish that the water tank was larger and the steam was evenly distributed across the pad. I recommend this product.

I waited so long to buy this steam mop, it look so easy on tv no real pushing, I thought. It works good on tile floors but not so easy on hard wood. You have to really push. Very disappointing. My hard wood floors look nothing like the commercial there dull from the steamer.

The pads never stayed on the mop and the mop didn't clean well at all. When trying to return item I was given the run around and had to call back three times before receving a customer service rep willing to give me the return authorization # to ship the mop back without trying to talk me into keeping it. Talk about adding insult to injury. Ramon was the worst rep of all he out and out lied to try to get me to keep the mop.

I was disappointed in the shark steam mop. The handle (plastic connection) broke in half within the first few minutes of use. The second one remained intact, however the cleaning results were average to poor. It was convenient, and it appeared to make steam, but all of steam is directed to only the middle of the pad. My tile and wood floors were still dirty after I used the steam mop. I re-mopped them and my mop pad picked up twice as much dirt as the micro fiber pad. I am going to return it to the store.

I purchased the steam mop becauseI was tired of wasting money on swifer wet jet refills as well as all those chemicals. I love it. I also have lower back pain and would always strugggle when moping. I found the steam mop easier on my lower back. I purchased additional cleaning cloths so I can use a couple of them when I clean my whole house.

My Mom purchased two mops and gave one to me.I love it!It saves me so much time and I actually mop more often now than I did before with the old mop and bucket. It seems to get the floors very clean. The only complaint I have is that after you wash the pads they seem alot harder to push across the floor. It is back breaking. And they also seem to not fit as good after being washed.I washed them as the directions said and I let them hang dry.I Also think that the price of the 3 replaceable pads is too much money for just 3.I do think this product could use a little improvement but for now I am content with it.

I purchased this product hoping that it would make cleaning our laminate Floor in the family room easier. That floor gets really tracked up with dirt and muddy doggy paw prints. I used a sponge mop first and then the Steam Mop. It did pick up a lot of dirt but the floor was still not totally clean. My biggest complaint is that it stuck to the floor and was hard to push after the pad got wet and my back was killing me by the time I finished (I am tall and this may not be a problem for shorter people). The second time around I sat in our rolling office chair and pushed it that way which gave me much better leverage and picked up more dirt. Overall, I like this product much better than a mop and bucket. We will see how long the handle lasts - it seems to be rather flimsy for the amount of pressure you have to use to push it. It was easier to push and did a good job on our ceramic tile kitchen floor and front hallway marble tile floor. I will keep this mop and hope that it holds up well to the use it gets in our home.

I tried this mop on my kitchen floor. It worked no better than my wet jet mop. Plus, it just moved the dirt around instead of picking it up. Then I tried it on my carpet. It was never mentioned that the carpet "attachment" doesn't actually attach to the mop. It just sits on the carpet, and then you place the mop on top of it. The instructions calls it a glider, so you can glide the mop over the carpet. The attachment/glider doesn't move when you try to mop on carpet, so I couldn't get anything cleaned! What a waste! Buyer Beware!!

I just bought the Shark Steam Mop as I am tired of using a mop that leaves streaks and water marks on my ceramic and laminate floors. I put it together and did as the directions stated to wash the pads before using. I steam mopped my laminate and ceramic floor and was very impressed with this steam mop. There were no streaks and no water marks. The floors were clean and it was very fast. I am very happy with this product. The only thing I would change is for it to hold more water.

I have mostly white marble floors in my home...bucket and mop just moved dirt around, this product did a great job of picking the dirt up and leaving no streaks! It is a little on the flimsy side but if it is used as directed the mop really does all the work. Can't be in a hurry to use it but I really like it!

I spent over 150.00 on a Floormate machine and have tried countless microfiber mops, sprayjet mops, etc on my floors. We have laminate throughout our house and ceramic tile in the bathrooms. We also have 5 children and a dog. This is by far the best cleaner I have ever used on my floors. Finally, no icky residue. If you have a spot that is extremely sticky or grimy you just let the mop sit on it for a few extra seconds while pushing down on the handle to release the steam. I couldn't live with out this. I can clean all my floors in a fraction of the time and they look 3 times better!

I love the idea of the shark steam mop...cleaning the floor without chemicals. I bought one and found it easy to fill and the pad is easy to install. The trouble is as the pad gets damp it sticks to the floor and becomes hard to push. They need to reinvent the pad. I trim the center plastic from a disposable wet jet pad and use it. It works great with the steam mop. Just be careful to position it where it covers the whole bottom or you will scratch your floor.

I love the steam mop, my floors never looked better and it's very easy to use and it takes half the time compared to a mop and bucket. Works great!

I really didnt think this product was going to work because i had tried the H20 steam mop and it sucked so then i saw this infomercial and when i got it i loved it right away. We are always having parties at our house and people are drunk coming in and out with muddy shoes and in the morning its a breeze to clean up. And i know in instructions manual it tells you not to add chemicals but i do anyways just for a fresher smell. I would definately recommend this product!
