A quick tap is all you need for food that's diced, chopped or minced just right. Just place the food in the Quick Chop and give it a tap for perfectly sliced veggies. I use this for garlic, and onions. I think it works great. One thing I have to say is, you must be gentle with it, because it is made of plastic, and if you push down to hard on the handle, it could break, I broke my first one that way, but I bought another one, becuase I do use it alot, I would not use it if you want to chop something real fine, like celery because the blades are not sharp, they are flat, I use if more for chopping, then finely chopping, it cuts more with pressure, and the amount of pushes you use, but great for garlic.

I bought this a few years ago, and was very disappointed. I was concerned about buying it, thinking it might be hard to use or dull, but was surprised to be unable to cut anything from the first try! It just didn't work at all.

This item works pretty well, however there are a couple of things. When you are chopping if you are not sure if you have the consistency you want and lift it, everything spreads and if you need to chop more you cant really scoop everything back in. Second when washing it you have to be care ful because the blades are so sharp and to clean them is dangerous. I sliced my finger on it when my sponge slipped. And third, it is impossible to get the whole thing clean. Parsley was everywhere up in the sides, in the blade and it was so hard to clean and who knows whats stuck up in the grooves.

Very. Dull. Blades. This chopper is useless. It wouldn't cut through onions or garlic. You are much better off with a food processor or just a regular knife that you can sharpen.

I use the quick chop all the time. it chops quickly and easily. cleanup is easy. i did have to spray cooking lubricant on the handel to prevent sticking. i am satified.

I bought this chopper a few years ago. I used it for chopping onions and peppers for the most part. It did chop them fairly well, although I needed to cut the veggies into pretty small pieces prior to chopping, so why not just chop while cutting them? Anyway, the unit disassembles easily, but you just can't get deep into the blade unit for cleaning. I noticed moldiness and rust after a few weeks, and threw it away. Don't waste your money on this.

I have the Quick Chop. I bought it as a less expensive replacement to the one that I had from []. The Quick Chop does not work as well nor does it clean as easily. The food gets caught in the blade causing uneven or incomplete chopping.
