I usually get suckered into buying all these gadgets...I am pleasantly surprised this product works beautifully....It left my feet feel smooth and with some foot cream, it was better than getting my feet done at the salon..

I've always been wary of infomercial products because it always seems to be too good to be true. But this product is great! I first saw it on the infomercial and was going to order it, but the expensive shipping deterred me. However, I saw it at Walgreens for only $10 and I picked it up right away. And it does everything it says it does! I used it once and my heels are super smooth. Will definitely buy again and am going to pick up a couple for gifts!

AH!!! Finally! I have the smoothest and softest feet! Oh, and it was quick, easy, painless, and a little fun even. This inexpensive product is so great. I actually came on this website to check out the ratings before I spent $10 at Walgreens. I'm an infomercial skeptic, but I trusted the reviews on here and I'm so glad that I did! I tend to get rough and cracked heels, and calluses on the outside of my big toes. I have to wear my favorite pair of boots, even though they are the root of my big toe callus problem. The ped egg blew me away. No soreness, pain, or discomfort because of filing my skin down like a mad woman. The skin "residue" left in the ped egg when I finish is both disgusting, and somehow satisfying to see. I love the emery pad that they include also. It really smooths my skin to a perfect finish and leaves me feeling refreshed and feminine. The ped egg fits wonderfully in my hand. What a cute, smart, and very useful invention! Go get yours today!

my girlfriend is a waitress and uses it to gently take away the skin on the bottom of her feet that has dried cause of sweat from running around on them for 6 to ten hours a day. i felt how smooth her feet were and tried it out on the calous on the side of my foot and slowly it is going away without any pain like a pumice stone gives you. great for refreshing your feet at the end of a long day....

I've been wasting money for weeks trying to get rid of a buildup on my heel due to heavy snowshoeing/snowboarding. Just floated to five major retailers and finally found one in stock for $9.99. That buildup was causing pain when I was off of feet for any period of time and I was able to get it off! You still do end up with quite a bit of shavings on the floor though, even though the majority end up in the egg. I suggest vacuuming immediately after using this or spreading a piece of newspaper under the area first.

UPDATE: I received my Ped Egg in just over a week and had no shipping problems at all. I expected to wait forever to get this from other reviews read here before purchasing. It was actually a breeze.

Oh my! Well, I saw the infomercial many many times and thought okay, I will try it. I have a skin condition known as acanthosis nigracans; I grow many extra layers of skin to the point of a very dark brown appearance in areas. I use a prescription lotion everywhere though it never seemed to help my toes. I have thicker, rough and dark skin especially on my big toe knuckles. It used to be that I had to soak or swim and slough it off. That was a real pain eventhough I don't wear sandals, I didn't like how they appeared. Okay, so to get the second ''free'' egg I had to pay $6.99 shiping on it and they were in one box weighing next to nothing. I also had to go through multiple offers for accessories and other products and yes, the company began calling me with absurd offers for other products and ''free trials.'' I said once don't call again and they have not. Also okay, it makes a bit of a mess and while the top catches a lot of skin, even more of it was on me and the floor. A small price to pay in my opinion. This device turns it to a talc like substance so please don't do what I did in assuming all was dumped out and blow into it! This worked like a charm whizzing off a year's growth in seconds. However, be careful and keep other toes out of the way. I skun off the second toe knuckle and bled a bit. I do have to say that I love the egg and wouldn't be without it. Beware that the tube of Miracle Foot Repair cream shown on television is NOT the size that you will receive. It does not have the flip top cap as seen in all parts of the infomercial. It is actually a one ounce tube with a screw top cap. Other than anything I have said above which may be slightly negative I'd have no reservations in telling anyone to get this pronto!

I got my Ped Egg today at [] and I am in love. This morning my feet looked awful and now they are smooth. I suggest buying at a store and skipping the shipping nightmares I keep hearing about. For the price, this is a great product.

I'm a dog walker and constantly on my feet. I also have issues with the skin on my feet being really dry. I saw this infomercial and my first thought was, "Yeah, right." So I came across this site and was astounded by the rating. It really does work? I found it online for $9.95 with free shipping and handling. For ten bucks, what could go wrong? Well, I just received it and tried it out and it really is great. So far, I love using it. It doesn't scratch or make marks in my heel like some pumice stones would and it's far cheaper than a pedicure. The ONLY thing I recommend is to clean it after each using because if you don't, the filings may fall through the blade holes and get into the holder. Other wise, it's an amazing product and if you want it, go for it!

I just purchased my first Ped Egg -and am recommending it to friends and family! I have had dry heels for years and would use all types of various "sanding products and files". The Ped Egg is so simple - virtually mess-free (just don't turn the egg over!). Use a back and forth motion with slight pressure - apply lotion and within two sessions my heels almost look "normal". I'm buying a back-up Ped Egg!

My mom and I picked this product up when we saw it at a beauty supply store. We gave it a try and were really impressed. We have really calloused feet (curse genetics...)and were already in the habit of using a pumice bar and lotion nightly. Even with our regime, however, the ped egg ended up getting a lot of skin shavings off our feet. It doesn't hurt, it doesn't cut and bleed, it is just the best way I have tried to remove callouses and rough skin. It's no a miracle, but it is a very good product worth the price. I am also impressed with how well it catches the skin shavings - its just sooo gross to have that dead skin everywhere after using a traditional foot scruber/filer. Its easy to use and does a wonderful job.

WELL... I'm apparently the only one that's OVER DONE IT w/ the ped egg. I purchased mine at [] and used it 2.28.08. I have some advice for people w/ badly callused heals: If I were to do it again, I would do it over 2 or even 3 days. Yes indeed, my heels are baby soft now, I can't believe it! But... I noticed IMMEDIATELY when walking across the carpet that my heels are very sensitive now. A few hours later my heels were warm to the touch, a bit "throbby" and a little red. I'm a person who can be VERY sensitive to things in weird ways, so perhaps I'm the only person that's had this happen, but WHY NOT just wait for 2 or 3 days to have the softest heels you've ever had in your life?? I used it two days ago and my heels are quite hot and red and I notice myself walking on my tip toes to avoid putting full pressure on them. Ouch. They are NOT bleeding or raw or anything crazy like that. I think that my heels have been so covered and protected by thick dead skin for so long (FYI: I'm 35 and definitely didn't have the worst heels I've ever seen) that they honestly have never had this many nerves exposed before! I hope it doesn't take long for this to go away. Again: It works! I would use it again. But I would do it over 2 or 3 days because I had NO idea I had done too much.

I bought Ped Egg after seeing great reviews on several rating websites. I got it at [], as I don't buy anything from the informercial anymore (not getting caught with excessive shipping et.) I love this product. After using the 'blade' type of callous removal on my feet, and different soaks, plus pumice stones and emory boards my feet were the worst they had ever been. I could tear stockings or socks or my skin with the problems I was having with calouses and the skin in general. I don't always have the time or money for a manicure, so when I saw it for $9.99 and jumped on it. I got home, used it as directed and my feet went from horrible to very touchable in about 15 minutes. It was so easy to use and the shavings fall into the egg just like it says, so no clean up except to empty the shavings in the trash and wash with soapy water. They really made this with the average person in mind and an excellent result after that. I no longer feel the need to get a manicure, maybe for a treat, but for everyday foot care, I will use my ped egg.

I ordered this online from the PedEgg website. They offered the 3 pack refill blades for a discount and free shipping. I ordered, and got it within a week. When I opened it, no refill blades! I called the customer service number, but the call center was only open from 9-5 monday to Friday. I work 8-5 so this is not convenient for me. I tried calling on lunch breaks but sat on hold for the whole hour. I looked online but there is no other way of getting a hold of them. I sent it back demanding a full refund. Hopefully I'll get a refund considering I have no way of contacting them. However, I went to a local store and got a PedEgg. The product works great. I reccomend this product competley, but am giving it 3 stars due to the HORRIBLE customer service. Do not order from the company!! Go buy on eat the store!

My right heel was dry, cracked, and kind of nasty looking. I ordered this from a direct-mailing company, expecting it to be a piece of crap. Much to my shock, it did exactly what it said it would. My heel looks great now!!!!!

I purchased my ped eggs from a tv show and recieved 2 for 19.99. I must say THAT THIS PRODUCT IS ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. I WILL PURCHASE SOME EACH MONTH AND PUT THEM AWAY FOR CHRISTMAS GIFTS. I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS PRODUCT SINCE I RECIEVED IT IN JAN.08. I will no longer be returning to the spa for pedicures. I must say that if you were thinking of buying this product...don't think just do it and you too will have rave reviews about how nice and smooth your feel will feel!

I was disappointed. You have to constantly scrub the foot area over, over, over etc. to actually remove dead skin. By the time you're finish your feet are sore. The idea was a good one only if it works at seen on TV. It dones not.

UPDATE: I am an extremely satisfied customer. I have had problems with exremely cracked heels for the past 20 years. I have tried all kinds of products and this one actually works just as it promised. I used it for about 10 days when I noticed that my heels were not cracked any more. I could not believe it. I am so happy. I will be able to wear sandals this summer without being embarrassed by dry, cracked heels. I would recommend this inexpensive product to anyone. And it is so simple and easy to use.
