I spilled a bottle of iodine right in the middle of my (mean! REALLY mean!) grandmother's pink and pale gray vinyl kitchen floor. She had already gone to bed so didn't see the orange nightmare that I managed to make worse by spreading it out with a paper towel. My mom and I considered getting in the car and running away to Mexico. I tried alchohol, Comet, etc. and none of them worked. I saw the Oxiclean under her kitchen sink. I made it into paste by adding a little water and covered all the iodine smears with it. (It gets warm to the touch - kinda neat.) I waited about 10 or 15 minutes and wiped it up. ALL, I mean ALL, of the iodine had been removed. I almost cried, I was so relieved.

This doesn't work well. The first time my family used it, it stained jeans just like bleach does. Be careful with it on clothes!

These products only work ok. If you believe that they will work as quickly as they do in the informercials you will be dissapointed. A cheaper and just as effective chemical might be hydrogen peroxide or color safe bleach!! I used hydrogen peroxide to take out wine stains on a table cloth and it worked fine.

I have a cat, who, unfortunatly, throws up on my beautiful carpeting throught my house. I've tried steamer vacuums, other cleaners, and simply soap and water, but none other then Oxi-Clean has worked for me! It cleans up the cat's stains and ONLY leaves a SMALL mark! I love it! I'll buy more Oxi-Clean products once they come out!

OxyClean (I think it was actually OxyClean Outdoors, from a hardware store) did an amazing job on ridding the inside of my black canvas convertible roof of mold, without bleaching. I sponged some on in the evening and it was gone by morning.

I use this in all my laundry. They all seem so much brighter. It really whitens the whites and brings out brightness in colors. I have used it on stains on my carpet and it works great. Used it once on dog throw up and it was the only thing that brought the stain out. I highly recommend this product.

Use water as hot as you can get it without boiling. Add Oxiclean, watch stains simply disappear. We have used it on nearly everything and for every type of stain. Incredible results every time! Best deal is the big tub- use for laundry instead of bleach, use for stain removal, make a paste to clean floors. Just awesome!

This product works on my cat stains - you know hairball throw-up and carpet urine stains. It removes the smell and the stains. It also removed a decade old stain from a white blouse. I soaked it overnight twice and now I can wear it. Excellent product.

This stuff works as advertised. It’s great on anything natural like food, blood or grass. It’s not as good on petroleum based stains like motor oil or many types of cosmetics. The trick is to use HOT water – just under the boiling point. I’ve been told by many people that this doesn’t work but the problem is that they were using water that wasn’t hot enough. This is a great product that can be used on many different surfaces – it’s one of the only cleaners in my house.

This is a great cleaner. I've used it on carpets, clothes, grout, and floors. I've actually used it on stained clothing that was put through the dryer (heat sets stains). I let the Oxyclean paste sit on the stain for some time and the stain comes out! It's a great product and worth the money!

i bought this product a long time ago,,, i was not impressed with how it worked,,, i guess it is safer than just using bleach though.

I've used this on a sweater that would have gone in the garbage -- stain disappeared, sweater saved. It took old tea stains off my mattress.

I pre-soaked bad spots on the carpet in our rental as the spots were coming back within 10 days after shampooing. Using one scoop to a quart of water for the pre-soak, and adding a scoop to the tank on the carpet shampooer, worked wornders! Most spots did not come back, and the few that did, were gone after the second shampooing.

The trick to Oxiclean is to make the water as hot as you can possibly can get it (according to the care recommended for the item). I always just turn on hot water in the washing machine, put a little oxiclean powder, let it disolve, put in the laundry, put a little more oxiclean on top, and make sure it aggitates well. Then I just let it soak overnight. I have gotten out stains from my first daughter's formula stains from 4 years ago when nothing else worked.

I bought this product a few years ago to remove lipstick stains on a 50 year old wedding dress. I followed all of the directions. I even soaked the dress in the bathtub with quite a bit of OxyClean added. It did not remove the stain from the dress. However, I have used it in the laundry a few times and it does whiten your whites some, but it is not as good as they make it look on the informercial.

This product is absolutely incredible, my grandson's favorite shirt had blood on it from an injury to his head. He was so upset that it was ruined, a few hours after the accident I used oxy clean and water, scrubbed it a little and let it soak overnight and low and behold all of the blood was gone. What a great product.

This product works really well as a laundry booster. We have an infant who spits up really badly and we have YET to have a stain set in. I used to soak his garments in a weak solution, but then started just throwing a scoop in the laundry with the detergent. It works WONDERS on the mess from the formula, even three days later. I couldn't believe it when friends said they swore by OxyClean, but now I know why! I have also tried to use it on other stains, even making a paste and letting it soak. It works for grape juice and cranberry juice, but so far I haven't been so lucky with tomato-based sauces like spaghetti.
