Oops - spilled paint!

At work, while painting the walls of our office, a co-worker accidently spilled lime green paint onto the tan carpet. I dabbed the excess paint up with paper towels, made a thick paste out of OxiClean with just a tiny bit of water, applied it on the stain and let it sit for awhile. After a few minutes, and quite a lot of scrubbing, the paint totally came out of the carpet. In order to get a serious stain like this out of the carpet, it's going to take a bit of elbow grease, but it never would've came out without OxiClean. A miracle cleaner!

I've been using Oxy Clean for about 6 years now. My first experience was with some hand-me-downs I got from a friend. Play clothes with stains that she couldn't get out. I used Oxy Clean on them and they came out instantly. I've also used it on old carpet stains and pet stains. It seems to neutralize the odor. Please, use HOT water so it dissolves COMPLETELY, Otherwise it won't work. I urge people to try it if nothing else has worked. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Ive even used it on a shrit that had started getting mold spots on it. No scrubing I just put it in hot water and oxi clean over night.

I spent perfectly good money for this useless product. I used it on a stain on white sneakers and they turned a beautiful sshade of yellow. So I stupidy tried it on a very small stain on a white jacket. It came out with a large grapefruit sized matching yellow color. Never again.

I love this product. I use it on everything, I have 3 dogs, and it works great on pet stains. Everyone I tell about it, tries it, and loves it. Anyone who says they don't like, has no idea how to use it. You must use very hot water for this product to work. It will not work with out hot water. I absolutely recommend everyone to try this product.
Oxi clean wrecked my new white jacket

I had a small stain about 1/8" in diameter. It was a minor stain and could have been removed with any other stain product. The Oxi Clean left a large fist sized yellow stain on my jacket that could not be removed. I would never recommend using oxi clean. It wrecked the jacket which I just got from my brother who recently traveled to Europe. I'm really bummed.

I love this product, and buy it on a weely basis. I actually use it on everything. I use it in my white laundry, my carpet shampooer, I have white carpeting, and 2 dogs, and you would never know I had animals, I put a half of cup in with the cleaner, and it takes the dirt right out of the carpet, also, if you have a tough stain, put it in a spray bottle with hot tap water, spray the stain, let sit, then clean up, you will be amazed, I also used it on my white siding, I washed down the siding with it, then hosed it off, it was amazing, my neighbor asked if I had painted, and I told her, now she is addicted to it too, it truely is an amazing product, that I could not live without.

One of my cats had a bladder infection and was peeing on the carpet and furniture. I tried many different cleaning products including some that were specifically made for removing the smell of cat urine but I found that this one worked the best. Other products use a lot of perfumes to mask the strong odor but this one actually removes it.

I frist got this product almost 7 years ago. I was pregnant and my mother had some clothes when I was a baby. The baby clothes had rusty stains, plus they were extremely yellow. I used Oxiclean and they came out of the washer brightly white, and the color one with very bright colors, just like new. Is awesome. Now I use it for my white clothes instead of regular bleach. Really, is a great product and I'll recommend it to anyone. PS. I also used Oxiclean for the stains in the carpert and it works as well.

Fantastic product. It paid for itself the first time I soaked about 10 white dress shirts that had become yellowed. They came out completly white again! I use this now instead of bleech for white clothes. They get really clean and unlike bleech it does not degrade fabric. Also used to clean tough stains in shower and it did great.

I had bought an older car form a friend and in the passenger seat there was a huge coffee staine I tried the oxiclean on it mixed it like the directions said applied it to the stain nothing! in fact teh stain was worse than before, I got a bottle of mirical pet and stain remover and used that it got the stain out compleatly, I tried the ooxiclean on the mildew in my shower and let it set for the amount ot time it said to and NOTHING, I tried to take it back to the store and they woudlnt' take it back so I used it to try to whiten my white clothes and it didn't even whiten them. I went back to using old fashioned blueing to whiten my white clotes worked better and was a LOT cheaper This stuff is junk and I hate that billy mayse he is a loudmouth.
Waste of money!

I waited to buy this product until it was available locally. Like all products pushed by Billy Mays (does he ever stop shouting?) this has never lived up to the hype. It does not clean stains well, it's difficult to rinse off and never seems to dissolve completely.
Does it remove blood?

I've been using OxiClean for years and just love it. It works best with hot water; the hot temperature seems to activate whatever ingredients are in the powder. Also, it works best on organic stains such as food or (gross) baby poo. I can't even begin to tell you how many baby stains this took out of my kids' clothes! I've also used it on carpet with slightly lesser results. Once the solution was too strong and left a white ring on the carpet, but it eventually got vacuumed up.

At first, I was a little skeptical when I was ordering this product. However, I changed my mind soon after receiving it. While a little soap and bleach can accomplish what Oxiclean does, Oxiclean has one special quality over soap/bleach: It can be made into a paste and made ten times as powerful! Seriously, the second I made it into a paste, I was hooked. Make it a paste, make it ten times as powerful!

Please don't buy this and pay the shipping - it's available almost everywhere cleaning products are sold. I've learned the hard way that if a product has merit it will soon be available in most stores where you can return it if you have a problem. The duds are so expensive to ship back that most people don't so the company makes money on shipping Most stores won't retail the duds as they don't want to deal with all the refunds. I do love this product and mainly, as many others have said, for carpet stains. I mix a bit with water and rub it into the stain that carpet cleaners want extra to actually clean and voila! no more stain. I use it with my whites in the laundry rather than bleach - does a good job (not as good as advertised) but a lot less damage than bleach. Especially good as a presoak. I like to have a tub of Oxiclean handy - but do head the warning about mixing it with bleach. Not a good scene at all.

Ya, it works, but so does regular soap with a little bleach thrown in. Works no better than that. The main thing this product has going for it is that obnoxious high-voiced idiot (Billy Mays) that sells it . I won't be buying it again, it's anothet sucker product to me.

I get a lot of stains on my clothes, and it definitely helps, and makes whites whiter. But some stains still remain, and the whites could be whiter still. It's an improvement, but it ain't magic.

I have tried the Baby Oxy that comes in the little pink lidded canister. A friend of mine who has a baby about 1 1/2 years older than my daughter had lent me baby clothes. Some of the clothes had stains. I was worried about using something harsh on something that would go on my babies skin since I am a rashy person. I used the baby oxy and was shocked how well it worked getting out the nasty yellow old formula stains from the borrowed clothes. It is awesome--except it is expensive. You have to use HOT water and soak the clothes over night. You also have to use A LOT if you are going to use it in the machine. To brighten laundry you don't have to use a lot, but to get the stains out you have to use a lot for the capacity of a machine. It was also confusing to figure out how much since t says per gallon. I put a gallon in my machine and it wasn't much so to have the soaking concentrate in the machine you have to use the whole canister, and you still can't fill the machine. To make it cost effective you have to soak in a bucket, or probably better yet would be to bring water almost to boiing in a pot and then soak the clothes in that--unless you want to spend $5 a load for laundry.
IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

I too saw those infomercials for Oxi-Clean and decided to try it myself. It does not get out the stains as they say it does. One time I soaked all of my stained clothes in the bath tub, put some Oxi-Clean in it, and the stains still wouldn't come out. These stains were just too set in to be removed. You have to wipe the stain up immediately before it sets in. I don't think I'll ever buy Oxi-Clean ever again.
