I own three orecks !

You can't go wrong with this. NO ozone, just pure fresh air. I bought one, then started to sleep like a baby, no stopped noses, so I bought 2 more. Get a good deal at [] on them. Orecks do exactly as advertised. stay away from ionic breezes.i had tried those, and based on my experience, plus CReports, they're a waste

We bought two of these products hoping that it would solve some of my night stuffiness from allergies. I can't really say that it makes much of a difference for me--I still get stuffy at night and still get my usual sinus headaches off and on like I have had for the past several years. However, this unit does give off some ozone which many will say is bad for you, but what ozone is really good for is eliminating smoke smells. And this unit does do that. We had brush fires all around us last summer and the smoke was thick outside. But this unit kept our bedroom just fine. Another friend of ours tried one of ours out for eliminating a neighbor's cigarette smoke, and decided to buy one based on his experience with ours. So it does help in some situations, but it does not do all they claim on the infomercial.

i cant say enough good things about the oreck air purifier. i was a little skeptical, after talking to some very scripted sales people on the phone. but i figured with the 3 month trial, i had nothing to lose. and i was right! ive had it about 2 weeks and its amazing. i used to wake up at night choking and wheezing, and that doesnt happen anymore. i'm a smoker, and predominantly smoke in my room , and it doesnt even smell like i smoke in it anymore. i might consider getting another one for the open space in my home. i know it would work out there too. the broom vac that you get with it is also very useful. it separates into a hand vac, and its very powerful. i wont go back to sweeping my floors with a regular broom.thanks oreck! next step for me is getting the vacuum, and im sure ill love that iron too :)

I run my Oreck day and night with no problems. I have asthma and allergies and it was recommended by my doctor. Great product. Every home should have at least one.

These are great air filters and you don't have to buy filters. You just wash the filter. I tried other filters and did not see much of any results. The Oreck keeps the air fresher and helps with allergies. I like it so much that I now own two to cover even more square feet of air.
