I have this can opener for over 6 months and love it. No cords. Takes small space. It works. You do have to be careful because it can affect the integrity of the can. It cuts just below the lid to get it off. The can needs to be handled with care or it could be more flexable than you might expect. If this one breaks, I will buy another one. Enjoy.

What a piece of junk. Mine became stuck on the can about the third time I used it. I was able to get it loose. About a week later, it got stuck again and when trying to remove it, the can sliced open my pinky finger (7 stitches) The advertisement of "no sharp edges" is false advertisement.

I was excited to buy this and as usual when I got it home we had trouble. It got stuck on the first can we tried to open and finally was able to pry it off but now I cant get it to work at all on its own!! What a waste of money!

This is the most horrible product I ever purchased. It advertised no sharp edges, not true, I sit here with 2 slices in 2 fingers. Lid got stuck and tried with pliers to remove it. Then returned it for a full refund.......piece of JUNK

I received this as a xmas gift. The first time, I used the ONE TOUCH can opener, I loved it. It is easier and has no mess like an electric can opener. I plan to buy a spare now, so in the future IF the one breaks, I will have a replacement.

Like a computor mouse - get on with something else as it walks round the top of the can ! I bought several of these in the US for elderly and not so elderly relatives - They all love them. Helps my left-handed wife too - always found can openers hard. They work best with duracel or energizer batteries (mine has opened 60+ can so far on 1st set and still going strong).

Have tried to use it about 25 times, with NO success! Lid gets stuck in cutting mechanism and can't be removed without a pair of pliers! Waste of time and money!

Has worked on every can we have tried to open with it. Is a little underpowered and slow, but it has worked everytime. Do not use cheap batteries. Eats batteries rather quickly. I've got 4 rechargeable set aside for this. 2 charging - two in use. I was thinking about rigging up a old power supply directly to it and pumping up the voltage a bit. Hey it's worth a try (G)

I bought this product mainly because it saves space, but in addition to that I think it's a wonderful product. It's so easy to use—I just clamp it down on the can and let'her rip. Since I have arthritis and carpal tunnel, the One Touch is a really handy helper.

Product works as advertised. Easily cuts through ROUND cans without a problem. Will not work on other shape cans or round cans with dents and/or dings, but most electic and handheld openers have the same limitations. Operates with extreme ease -- just press the button and the opener begins to rotate around the can. May rotate a little longer than necessary, but will shut off if left alone.

Gave the One Touch as a Christmas present to my elderly mother, who has arthritis and carpel tunnel syndrome. Did not work. My brother and I tried for over 1/2 hr and at best it went forward one inch. Reversed then tried again, still only forward one inch. Can't get it to release so they get the can also when I return it for a refund. Horrible.

This is a pretty good can opener. It says it doesnt have sharp edges... well, it still does, instead of the sharp edges on the lid they are now on the can. The only problem I have with it is the way it cuts from the side makes it impossible to drain stuff like tuna, so we have two can openers now! But overall all it is a pretty good product!

Pros: It really does open a can with one touch. Easy to use and easy to store. Cons: Don't use cheap batteries. I used some generic batteries and there just wasn't enough power for the opener to cut the can with. If the opener doesn't cut all the way around the can, you can't lift it off. I had to push/pull the opener making it cut all the way around to get it to come off. With better batteries it works much better, but still struggles. After you open the can from the edge the can is pretty sharp, so be careful. Plus, it makes it much harder to drain the can when opened this way . All in all, I use it every day and it works fine for most uses. Just be sure to keep good and fresh batteries in it as the motor is just powerful enough to cut, but no extra power.

I had purchase this can opener. Yes, I does not leave the lid sharp, but the can edge becomes sharp. It is very easy to use.

I bought the first One Touch can opener and discovered that it works so well and with such ease that I ordered 5 more to use as gifts. It is just a SUPER little appliance that everyone should have!
