Changed my life for the better

6/12/2007 - Laurie of California, USA writes:

I preferred the CD's to the book -I listened to the CD's on a very long road trip. These CD's encouraged me to make some lifestyle changes, and medical issues have gone away! My family calls me Ms. Green - but am presently free of medical ailments. Pharmaceutical companies may have to re-think the way they do business if more and more people read this book. I recently purchased The weight loss cure they don't want you to know about. After you read these books - you will understand why you have ailments. I now read the label of everything I purchase - I couldn't believe all the antifreeze (glycol propylene) that goes into our packaged foods and cosmetics. It is really hard to find products free of this ingredient oh yes - corn syrup is another biggie - it is in everything--very addictive! We are the only industrial country that still puts the growth hormone into our milk - - if you are going to buy milk - purchase organic milk!!!! The book can be repetitious- but I believe this repetition kind of drills things into your head so you won't forget important points. This book opened the door for further research. I have since found better products, better ways to incorporate a healthy lifestyle. When my friends and I discuss health topics, foods, etc., we just ask ourselves "What would Kevin do?" :)

Beware Con artist

4/20/2007 - Margie of Alabama, USA writes:

SHAME ON YOU "Kevin Trudeau Natural cures" infomercial: so-called 'free' book, pay $9. 90 shipping.I was overcharged:$19. 90 NINETEEN dollars ninety. I had the same run around as others trying the 'customer service numbers'.This is a common con-trick and scam with this book, and using the ITV order service. With so many thousands of complaints already circulating, no doubt this scam will eventually be busted. Since giving my number for the order, I note a MASSIVE increase in repeated telemarketing calls (tho we are on the do not call list) I believe they are related to this scammer who has likely sold the numbers on. We have now cancelled our credit card to avoid further fraudulent charges experienced by others who posted warnings. He is defrauding sick people, and inflating the charges on the credit card bills via ITV company. Scam victims can go online to the Illinois Attorney General's office and print a complaint form.Class action lawsuit.

Shame Shame Shame

3/11/2007 - Karen of Illinois, USA writes:

This book was basically written to make Kevin Trudeau richer. It has no information about natural cures. If you want to find out about natural cures, you have to subscribe to the website. I paid the price for a few months and found some useful info BUT after I cancelled the subscription, they kept charging my credit card account, claiming that they couldn't find my information to put a stop to it (even though my credit card company gave me their contact phone number from the charge!). It took 2 months to get them to stop charging my card. A few months went by and all was well, now I have YET ANOTHER CHARGE from natural cures on my credit card for this month 3/2007.

2/4/2007 - Connie of California, USA writes:

The information is not there

2/3/2007 - Don of Ontario, Canada writes:

This book was just a recap of the TV infomercial. It had very little information and constantly referred to a Web site which asked payment for information

This man is scary

1/21/2007 - Elizabeth of New York, USA writes:

I read this drivel and am just glad I wasn't the one who paid money better spent on something else. When trudeau went on his rant about not using sunscreen I thought he might be some kind of shill to bring new customers to Melanomas-R-Us. I know too many people who have had to have skin cancers removed because they'd go out with an SPF 4 lotion, or use nothing at all. If this man is a medical expert, i'm the queen of England,

Does not give you cures

12/27/2006 - Michelle of Illinois, USA writes:

Purchase this book if you want insight as to how the drug companies, politicians and health professionals may operate. However, if you are purchasing to actually find "natural cures" you will not find it in here. As others have stated, you are directed to a website and forced to pay more. There are other, great resources out there, that are more worth the money. And, be aware, when calling to order, they try to get you to buy more products.

How to read this book...

12/17/2006 - Jeff of Ohio, USA writes:

It is poorly written. It's full of typos and grammatical errors. It's not well organized. If you can get past the fact that Kevin Trudeau is obviously trying to make money for himself and do honest research on the content of the book, you will find valuable information in it. He's right about the drug companies and doctors and the FDA and the FTC. I did a colon cleanse and it was fantastic. I am eating some organic food and I feel better. And every time I see a commercial on TV for drugs that says "Ask your doctor" about (insert drug name here), I cringe. Why are people in general sicker than ever? The world we live in IS toxic. If we get really healthy then we hurt the health care and drug industries. Anyone who doesn't believe it's at least somewhat "about the money" is a fool.

Misleading information

11/29/2006 - Chuck of Florida, USA writes:

My expectation after listening to the infomercial was to be able to look up a symptom or disease discussed in the show and read a specific action to take as treatment in lieu of what would be considered "traditional drugs". This is not the case. Information is badly worded and comes off more as ravings and conspiracy theories. In addition constant upselling of his website and other "reference material" to find the cure. There are "minimal" straight forward medical responses to the issues referred to in the infomercial.

Book is infomercial to join his website for $70 +

11/4/2006 - Cindi of Florida, USA writes:

This author Trudeau is a convicted defrauder, pyramid scam artist and ex-con. The book starts with the interesting idea that there are natural easy cures for many major diseases but we are not privvy to them because of the huge money and influence of health and pharmacutical companies and how they would all go out of business if the truth of these cures was revealed to us. Interesting concept! Problem was where are the NATURAL CURES? IF we want that important info we have to join a website run by trudeau, So after paying $30-40 for the book of no nature cures you can pay $70-80 to join the website . Of course I felt completely ripped off after I read this book, and would never join this website. The idea that the US medical community is hiding cures is interesting, but that is not what the books is promised to be about! Where are the natural CURES?????

11/3/2006 - Arianna of Alberta, Canada writes:

If you're looking for answers. This is the book to read. I could not put it down. My husband and I talk about this being the information age..... If you don't believe this book, you are not ready to hear the truth. Our lifestyles have completely changed. Something I needed to do for our daughter.

It changed our lives!!

10/25/2006 - Norah of New Jersey, USA writes:

Our lives have been changed by this book!! We are so much healthier. My husband has experienced the most benefits. We used our own judgement as to what advice we would follow of Kevin's. Kevin also referenced other books and websites that have helped us out greatly as well.

Huge Scam

10/11/2006 - Cheri of Idaho, USA writes:

Save your money...do not buy this book! This is just one long and boring come-on advertisment telling you that you need to go to his web site and buy more products. Be very careful; I cannot get anyone to cancel the monthly news letters, so if they bill me again I'm will have Amex persue for fraud.

Wish I had seen this website first

6/15/2006 - Julie of Maryland, USA writes:

Bought the book based on the infomercial and it is basically KT's conspiracy theory - it offers no actual "cures". For that you have to join his website, which I was stupid enough to do. Turns out the website does not contain the "cures" either, and they continued to charge my credit card for months after I cancelled my membership. I finally had to get my bank involved to make it stop. Total cost for nothing: $85 Stay away from anything Kevin Trudeau has to offer.

Don't expect miracles

6/11/2006 - Jamie of Alberta, Canada writes:

I think people who are looking for a miracle, or quickfix should read this book carefully. It will not tell you how to lose that last 10 pounds by the end of the week, but rather gives you some ideas for life-changes that need to be made, and will work if you implement them. I have not finished the entire book yet but I will because he has some things to say that just make good sense. He comes off as a little pushy and sensationalist sometimes, and there is a lot of conspiracy theory talk, but aside from that I am very happy with the book so far. If you're skeptical like I was, try buying from a well-known auction site instead of a bookstore, I paid about 1/2 the asking price you would pay at a store, and do not consider it to be a bad investment.

Kevin Trudeau is a fraud and con artist.

5/23/2006 - Carol of Minnesota, USA writes:

I bought his book, which is worthless. All he wants to do is get you to subscribe to his expensive online newsletter stating he can't give cures in book. My question is then how can he state the cures online? Please do not waste your money on anything he tries to sell. You will never get it back.

Worth the Read

5/16/2006 - Tamara of Toronto, Canada writes:

I believe this book is definately worth the read. Why? Because it motivated me to make changes in my eating (Organic). I don't believe I would have made these changes without reading this book as I would have considered this change to be a "tree-hugger" approach. However, the book is poorly written and editted, and sensationalistic. If you can get past that, the overall message is extremely good. Our bodies are toxic. He basically has gone out and read/tried every alternative type of health solution out there. Some of them are great, some are over-the-top. If you are from Canada don't order on-line (just go to a bookstore)!!! The exchange, shipping, import tax kill you, over $130. They force you to sign up for the newletter, which they tell you can be cancelled after one issue. Yes they did refunded me the total subscription amount. You still get dinged in import tax (full amount of sale when shipped).

Don't Except Very Much

4/26/2006 - Pete of New York, USA writes:

The book is basically a reference product. Before the author's explanation gets too involved about a natural cure, the reader is told to read a different book by a different author. As a result, the reader has to go elsewhere in order to get the complete information. This book is one big footnote. One great big disappointment.
