Disappointed

I'm very disappointed in this product. I've been using it for the last 2.25 months, and my skin has gotten WORSE. Every morning I wake up with a new cystic acne eruption on one or both of my cheks, which is place where I rarely had breakouts. My skin is dry and all kinds of broken out. I'm very disappointed, when I had been previously so enthusiastic. I will be trying Proactiv after this.

this product made my face so completely dry it took at least three weeks for it to heal. my face actually hurt because it was so dry (no wonder they pushed the moisturizer so much) my acne got worse and it looked as if it was snowing on my face from all the dry skin. the clay mask was horrible, it did nothing but dry out my skin even further. the acne spot treatment was the only good thing, it seemed to make individual zits go away really fast, if you can just get past the horrid smell it was very easy canceling the continuity program though, just call and wait a few minutes for a live person. all in all, the store bought products are way better.
Finally something that works!

Although not cheap, I've liked every product I've tried from Murad. The clarifying cleanser rinses cleanly, actually works, and their moisturizers and other treatments absorb nicely without being heavy. Proactive dried out my skin (even when using it only once a day) and did absolutely nothing for me.

This is a great product. Far better for my skin than ProActive. ProActive made my face chafe and peel. My skin with ProActive was a horrific thing to see. ProActive was extremely strong. Totally dried out the skin. With MURAD, it's effective and gentle. It took a few weeks for me to see the results because it had to healed my skin from the damage caused by ProActive.

Product is all hype and ineffective at reducing acne. Comparative it is worse than most over the counter products and appears in many cases to make conditions worse.

This product made my skin, much, much worse! I switched from Proactive because it had become less effective over time. I gave the product a full 2 weeks, but I had such bad breakouts after 2 weeks I had to go back to Proactive and call my dermatologist. I also could not stop my membership on-line as my agreement said I could. The site would only allow me to post-pone my next shipment and would error out each time I tried to cancel my membership. I had to call in and speak to a customer service rep who cancelled my account. I would not recommend this product.

Did work for me at all after a month. It feels wonderful going on but never cleared my skin. Proactive was far superior in much less time.

Murad did not work for me. In fact it made my skin much worse. I used [] prior to, and I shouldn't have stopped. Murad ruined my skin, to the point where it's taken months to heal and repair. I broke out with big, painful cystic acne all over my jawline, as well as breakouts all over my face. I gave it six weeks, but I couldn't take it. I discontinued and got all my money back. It might work for some, but I wouldn't recommend this. You have to commit to the full six weeks of treatment, and even then it's not for sure that your skin will acclimate and start clearing. I've researched and found numerous reviews of others who had the same effects as me with the Murad complex. Plus it gets expensive. Not worth the pain and time and money. Use benzoyl peroxide to control acne, not this.

i absolutely love this product after 1 application you can feel the difference;the skins texture is soft, my pores where minimized, my face wasn't has oily throughout the day, and breakouts. what breakouts? thanxs murad

I will admit that I was a bit hesitant at first to try this product(due to the fact that I hadn't had much success with any of the other products I tried over the years.) But after faithfully using the kit for about a month or so, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product really DID work for me. When the simple cleansing routine is properly followed, results can be expected. It takes is a little patience and commitment, but it's worth it when you actually see great results!

I tried this product because I have problem skin. After the rave reviews it had gotten through the informercial, I thought I'd give it a try ... It doesn't work, for me anyhow. ProActive is the best .. I'll stick with it!

This product is supposed to provide remarkable results in a month or so; however, I find the multiple steps of the process a hassle to complete and time consuming. In addition, the glycolic acid scrub is very painful. After three weeks of treatment, my acne is worse, and it looks as though I have been burned in the spots where the spot concealer was applied. I liked the sulfur mask, but the hydrating lotion was greasy and unattractive.

Great product! This stuff is absolutly "amazing"! Major improvement after 1st application! 30 day supply was enough in achieving clear, healthy looking skin again.
