I've used Acne Complex for a little more than 90 days now AS DIRECTED. My skin has only gotten worse. I wouldn't suggest you use it. It's too expspensive and doesn't work.

This product made my existing acne worse as well as causing more breakouts. The gel burned my face and made my acne red and irritated. It was a waste of my money and I am finding a better success rate with Acne Free.

The commercials for this product is very convincing, but don't be fooled. I've suffered from bad acne for about 7 years, and was basically becoming desperate. This product worked for me for a few weeks, but it was very mediocre and didn't clear up my skin like it claims. When you actually look closer to what these products contain, it's pretty disgusting. The lotion contains TALC, an ingredient in a lot of makeup creams. It should NOT be applied to your face for cleansing or anything. Save your money and buy organic products. Olive oil soap, Vitamin E soap, or tea tree oil will do just as good or better.

Did not work for me at all. It actually made my exsisting acne worse. I broke out in spots I hadn't broken out in before. Way overpriced as well. Don't waste your money. Money would be better spent at a dermatologist.

I tried the Murad Acne treatment kit after watching the infomercial on TV. I was a little skeptical, naturally, but with the money back guarantee I decided to give it a try. I have struggled with acne and redness from rosacea most of my adult life. At age 52 I thought I would give it a shot. The product arrived quickly and I started using it right away. I read about "purging" in the brochure and thought, Hmm, I've never heard of this before. After years of dermatological treatments that involved lotions and ointments, I would always have increased breakouts right away, so I would stop using the prescriptions, but not once--not ever--did a dermatologist tell me about the process of "purging." I didn't know anything about it. Well, after the first couple of days it appeared my face was getting worse, but I remembered what the brochure stated, so I continued. Lo and behold, after about two weeks the purging stopped, and my complexion starting getting clearer. It was amazing. My rosacea began to improve, and any signs of acne were beginning to diminish. I also got a more healthy glow in the process! I did not go on the recurring shipment plan at first, but now I feel like I want to because the product is working. It has almost been 30 days now and I can honestly say this product is working for me. I do use it twice a day, faithfully. I love the cool and tingly sensation of the face wash, and I really love the hydrating lotion. It's not greasy at all, and it really is improving my skin's texture and appearance. The exfoliating gel seems to tighten my pores, and I find the fragrance of the skin perfecting lotion to be really pleasant. I would highly recommend this skin care regimen, and I would certainly advise you to give it time and don't panic if your skins looks worse for a while. Keep using it faithfully and you should see good results. It hasn't "cured" my acne and rosacea, but my sking looks a whole lot better than it ever has. Thumbs up!

ordered the product and used as instructed. broke out all over for the next three weeks. my skin and face hurt every second of the day! looked like a hundred bees stung my face. called customer service and they told me it was natural. since i had 60 days to try it, i continued using it. bad decision! my acne kept getting worse and more painful. on day 54, i gave up. waste of time and money, not to mention crazy pain and suffering.

I waited to submit my review on Murad products because I wanted to see if it worked. And because I have submitted one other before regarding a mineral line way too soon before I gave it enough time and I wish I hadn't. I have used Murad for two months and I use the Sensitive acne kit and it works for me. I have mild hormonal adult acne and not only does it stop acne but it calmed and hydrated as well. I do not have a membership, I buy Murad at a face spa in town where I live. My dermatologist said Murad shouldn't have to advertise on TV because it is a good product. If you use it right everyday, you will see improvement

I'm really surprised at all the negative feedback re: Murad. Don't want to repeat what the previous 20 people said, but this product has worked wonderfully. Obviously, no product is perfect; but compared to others I've used, this one stands alone. "murad worked for me!" LOL (i feel like that guy on the infomercial). Don't know what to say to the folks who haven't had good reactions to it -- you're probably not using it correctly, are smoking, and need to change your sheets/pillow cases, or need to be on accutane for the cysts. wow, it made your skin worse? That's hard to believe given the results I've had, but I guess everyone's different. Anyway, I would honestly reccomend this product to everyone who needs help with acne... and I would also be sure to tell them to have REALISTIC expectations, that it won't bring everything back to 100% perfection. People need to wake up and remember that there is no cure for acne, only treatments. So, with any product, there might be subsequent episodes because the "acne" still lingers, even behind clear skin. All I can give is my experience and it has been exceedingly positive with Murad. Try it and see for yourself. If not, come back to this site and add another bitter review to the collection below.

i used this acne system for roughly 6 months. when i started i had mild-moderate acne, and it slightly cleared my skin for the 1st month or so and i kept expecting it to clear all the way or atleast drastically improve . ..IT NEVER DID also i found that after the 1st week when i put the lotion on(Not the treatment gel) it burned my face overall its way to expensive to only sort of work, im sure you can find something better at a drugstore or a dermatologist's office

I have been suffering from acne since the age of 12 and now I am 30 and found something that actually worked!!! Unlike proactiv the cleanser is actually like a soap and very gentle. The lotion is wonderful, very light and not greasy. The only thing is the treatment gel is stinky at first but you will get use to it the more you use it. The spot treatment works almost overnight. Try it if it doesn't work for you just return it. Murad has 30 day return!! Price varies from online store to store. Hope this helps.

I've had a frustrating complexion for a long time, and nothing else had worked by the time I saw this infomercial, so I was feeling a bit desperate and had high hopes for this product. It wasn't long before I regretted buying it, though: It smelled rather ... \distinctive\, shall we say, and left my face feeling terribly greasy. Plus, the active ingredient is salicylic acid, which I ended up having a horrible reaction to -- it makes my super-sensitive skin break into a rash very easily. And, oddly enough, I started clearing up for the first two weeks, then suddenly started breaking out \worse\ than \before\ I started using it. Considering the cost, which felt like a huge waste of money, I was honestly very disappointed with Murad. I really wanted to like it, but it just didn't work for me at all. It \might\ work for some people, but I could never honestly recommend this to anyone.

finally something that has worked for my skin im 15. my skin after a week was getting smoother(i had alot of whiteheads and blackheads) then the 9th day i wake up with 4 big pimples on my chin IM LIKE WHAT THE HELL! turns out the gel was overly drying out my skin and i was using it once only at night- so i made the change of using the gel every other night and the cleanser and lotion twice a day every day. Its been a month and a half and my skin is almost perfect except for the exception of small whiteheads and my forehead that are getting smaller everyday. if you really want this product to work for you, you have to use the acne treatment gel starting out once in the night and if its still drying out then use it every other night. you have to try it!

I tried Murad and it was horrendous. Made my existing acne (mild to moderate) absolutely SEVERE including cystic which I had never seen before using this stuff. Proactiv is far superior although I dont care for their regimen either, at least their product doesnt make your skin WORSE. Also, funny how ALL the reviews on here that are supporting murad, spell Proactiv incorrectly (with an "e") probably the same person over and over. Dont waste your time or money on this horrible product, you WILL be sorry you did. I regret it 100%.

I'm very disappointed in this product. I've been using it for the last 2.25 months, and my skin has gotten WORSE. Every morning I wake up with a new cystic acne eruption on one or both of my cheks, which is place where I rarely had breakouts. My skin is dry and all kinds of broken out. I'm very disappointed, when I had been previously so enthusiastic. I will be trying Proactiv after this.

this product made my face so completely dry it took at least three weeks for it to heal. my face actually hurt because it was so dry (no wonder they pushed the moisturizer so much) my acne got worse and it looked as if it was snowing on my face from all the dry skin. the clay mask was horrible, it did nothing but dry out my skin even further. the acne spot treatment was the only good thing, it seemed to make individual zits go away really fast, if you can just get past the horrid smell it was very easy canceling the continuity program though, just call and wait a few minutes for a live person. all in all, the store bought products are way better.

Although not cheap, I've liked every product I've tried from Murad. The clarifying cleanser rinses cleanly, actually works, and their moisturizers and other treatments absorb nicely without being heavy. Proactive dried out my skin (even when using it only once a day) and did absolutely nothing for me.

This is a great product. Far better for my skin than ProActive. ProActive made my face chafe and peel. My skin with ProActive was a horrific thing to see. ProActive was extremely strong. Totally dried out the skin. With MURAD, it's effective and gentle. It took a few weeks for me to see the results because it had to healed my skin from the damage caused by ProActive.
