Infomercial fraud alert!

Meaningful Beauty infomercial is fraudulant. They say you get all the products shown for a deep discounted price of $29.95, when in fact you are charged $119.95. They don't tell you that the products make your face break out in red itchy patches. Customer Rep. told me that that is normal. That is NOT normal! The company is defrauding the public and should be held accountable; are they above the laws of the land?

I feel the best way for me to write my review is to submit my actual email to the company_____ I received an automatic shipment that I did not want. I only wanted the trial products to see if I liked your products first and told this to the phone operator when I first ordered. I do not care for your products. I feel that they did absolutely nothing and I am finding much better results with other products. I intend to return the samples for a refund and now I have to return this automatic shipment. I feel ripped off and very frustrated. Can you send me a return postage paid sticker for this automatic shipment please? I don't feel that I should have to pay one dime more for products that I am very dissatisfied with. Oh, and of course cancel any membership that I may have with your company.

UPDATE: I am updating my previous review because it has been almost 2 months and I never did receive my order. I canceled my pending order and any future ones and I even liked the product. The order by design feature (or whatever they call it) must really slow things down too much for them to keep up with. I cannot believe the Meaningful Beauty infomercials are still running since they obviously cannot keep up with the orders. I wonder if Cindy Crawford knows about this problem?? (P.S. over the counter [] is my replacement and it is almost as good)

This product worked really well for me. I have dry skin and I am very cautious about sun-care and doing good things for my skin now so I will have good skin later. I find this product does exactly what I need. The cleanser is great- very gentle but it really cleans. The two moisturizers (day and night) also work well for my skin. They are light, not greasy and the day moisturizer gives me a dewy glow. The eye cream was my favorite, as I have small lines under my eyes and they are almost gone! My only gripe is about the shipment deliveries. They seem very slow and my intro package did not have the glowing serum. My second shipment came abut two weeks after my card was charged and it did contain the glowing serum (which I loved), but I'm not sure how I feel about the company's (Guthy Renker) customer service. They need to be a little quicker with their shipments and they also need to make sure they have all the products before they ship. In conclusion, I love this product and notice a change for the better in my skin, but I wish I could purchase this in a spa or a skin care store, because the hassle of waiting for a delivery after the product I am using has run out is annoying. They need better customer service because the demands for this great product are obviously more than they can handle.
Definitely a winner, shipping could be way better!

I have been using Meaningful Beauty since July 2006 after seeing my first infomercial on it. At first, I was skeptical, and did not know too much about the products. My skin reacted for the first four weeks or so, it being a new product to my skin. after the first month, I started to see results. My skin imperfections did decrease, the redness in my skin practically disappeared. What I like most is that it is a system- it takes the guesswork out of using a slew of different items. The moisturizer is light, the night fluide is my absolute favorite!! The eye cream does sting a little, but if you use a small amount, its way less irritable. The facial masque is fabulous, as you can really feel it working, and it leaves your skin very refreshed. I wish I could say the same about the shipping on these products. They don't always come when they say they will. I have had at least two kits go to an old address, it would be corrected back to my residence, but then did not receive my new kit for several months, and did not know what to do because I ran out of product. If the products hadn't worked so well for me, I would've probably cancelled it. Hopefully, the availability of these items will get better in time. But overall, a very unique, awesome skincare line with a lot to offer.

I ordered this product after watching the informercail. I recvd my order within 2 weeks but the serum was missing and is on back order. I just recieved my credit card statement and there is a charge for $97 for my next shipment but have not recieved anything. They should not charge your card before they can ship it. I have not even recieved all of the first shipment yet. The product isn't so bad, it burned my skin at first so I cut down to using once a day. Now I only use the cleanser and moisutrizer and plan to cancel the order so I don't recieve any more, it seems to work shile using it but if when I stoppd for a few days my skin had more wrinkles than before I started. Cindy Crawford should be careful about what she puts her name on, doesn't seem to me that they were prepared to sell, customer service is horrible.

I'm 41 and have never had a skin regimine. I purchased this a few months ago. Like others, the serum was on backorder. I didn't mind. What the heck is a serum anyway?!:) I received it today and will try it. I had a tightening around the eye from the eye cream but it felt good like something was working:) I also use this on the deep creases in my forehead it seems to be helping:) I like the cleanser A LOT. The first few weeks, it seemed to irritate my skin. My skin became flaky in spots and sensitive. After several weeks of use almost all of my sun/age spots from years of working on the beach are gone. (There is a little notation that it may cause irritation but it's not prominant in the literature.) Now my face is noticably smoother. I workout a lot and used to slather fake tan on my face to hide all of the imperfections. I haven't used the fake tan in months and go to the gym make up free. I'm proud to show off my naked skin. I feel pretty and I think I glow.
Poor Customer service

I ordered my initial kit on July 19 2008 and did not receive it until July. I have not received my second kit yet. If you pre-design your kit it seems they will not send it out until everything is there. This does not work for a beauty regimen. I like their product but I don't know how much longer I can use it with their customer service philosophy. My second kit was not mailed out because there was no glowing serum at one point it was not sent out because there WAS glowing serum but no maintenance 2. Now it wasn't sent out because there is NO glowing serum and toner. Who knows when I will receive my kit at this rate. In the meanwhile, this is costing me a lot of money because I am replacing their products with others. My skin is taking a beating because I never know how much to buy. So the three months have stretched out to seven. The worst part of it all is that the service people lie and say they sent items out and then they don't. Or they send samples free to tie me over but I didn't aske for that. I want my full sized product kits. If they cannot resolve this I will be discontinuing. I will also let my daily papers interview me and will report them to the Better Business Bureau here. I'm giving it a one star because of the service and because their service has undone all of the positives that their products did.
Waste of time and money!!

I ordered in July, waited a month and received no Serum. Called in Sept. and was told it was on back order and my 90 day kit should have been sent on the 9/15. Called 10/24, still received no Serum and was told my 90 day kit was just shipped today. How convenient! Still no idea on when Serum will be sent, but shipment is being returned as soon as it arrives. The eye cream burned my eyes anyway and the cleanser didn't feel like it did much. The Cust. Serv. Rep. said the next 90 day shipment would probably take 120 days or more due to backorders, so this is just a complete waste of time and a huge headache to deal with...Period!!

The eye cream made my eyes itchy and red. The cleanser and moisturizer actually produced pores in my face whereas I've never ever had them before using this product. I did like the chest cream. I never did receive the glowing serum though. I WAS SO disappointed that I cancelled all future orders way before the 30 days was upo but they debited my checking account again anyway. I'm going back to using neutrogena products!
Delayed Shipments

I like the stuff but I ran out of my 3 months' worth of product over a month ago and still have not received my next shipment. I called and it looks like Meaningful Beauty is way behind in their deliveries. The latest infomercial must have triggered a lot of orders the company cannot keep up with. I hope they stock up better in the future. Anyway, I like the day and night cream the best and my skin is missing it. I have lost that glow it gives to my skin.

After just under the 60 day guarantee period I am returning the products. I never received the back-ordered Glowing Serum and was disappointed, as that was a highly touted product on the infomercial. I did not use the cleanser and toner regularly, as those were not my interest to begin with, but rather the moisturizers. The eye cream caused a burning sensation to my eye area, and the day and night moisturizers were average at best. The products were definitely not worth the money.

Was excited to receive the product althought the glowing serum was on back order. Still haven't received it. After 2 days of using Meaningful Beauty products, my skin burn, and has broken out into painful, large, red, scaly, dry patches. I had no problems with my skin before this product and now it looks and feels terrible.

I enrolled in the home delivery program and never received the 90 day delivery kit after the introductory kit. So buyer should be beware of signing up for the monthly fee of $29.95 to received continuing 90 day supplies of the product. Because you may pay but not receive the product.

this product made my eyes burn, my face and neck and ear area broke out with little pimply bumps all over. I have worse skin than when i was a teen. I was very disappointed, actually at 47 my skin isnt to bad, as long as do not use this again. cancelled my order today, still did not recieve everything as promised, and i dont want it. the infomercial is very misleading. i am going back to my other products that have never made me break out. cindy crawford gets 2 thumbs down on this junk!

I called to order the trial, and ended up ordering the 90 day supply with glowing serum (have not received yet - as many others report). I started using it as recommended twice a day; masque, twice a week. I occasionally had a very slight burning sensation from some of the product, but it's not consistent, nor is it bothersome. I like the cleanser and toner very much and find them to be very thorough. The moisturizers are adequate, but I've had better. I find the day one slightly sticky/heavy to apply which annoys me. I like a very silky application, but like all things, this is a personal opinion. Overall after about 3 weeks, I like the product and will at least use what I have. We winter in FL, so will see how it holds up to pool and sun. Don't be afraid to try this; everyone has a different reaction to products and a few negative reviews aren't enough of a reason to dis this line. As for deceptive packaging claims: Look around; it's WAY more common than you think and is often for eye candy. Think about those jars that are square sided and bottomed and in fact the product fits in a small depression in the middle!! I really don't believe they are trying to fool anyone - at least anyone who can read a contents label. Overall a decent product at a very easonable price. My last skin care line had a serum that was as much as this whole kit! (Yes, I loved it, lol.)

I have used this product for about 1 month and my skin looks very good. My pores have been reduced, my breakouts have stopped and my skintone is more even. Of course not every product is for everyone. All products will get and good and bad reviews. Just try the trial size and see how it works. I just ordered the 3 month supply. can't wait to get it because I'm running out of the trial size.

I have had problematic skin since a young teen. I am 47 years old and have still been plagued with large-pored acne-prone skin and have tried everything! I have been using the Meaningful Beauty line for three weeks now and am in heaven. My face is smoother, velvetier, my milia and break-outs are neary dimished tho this product isn't touted as an acne remedy. My skin is elastic and I am feeling more self confidence as a result.
