I did the buy 1 get 1. I wish I had gotten more to give family! The problems here about "mush" are caused by OVER Filling - not PULSING, shaking to move things. READ the manual, do as instructed, practice! I use mine 4 or more times a day for cooking for a diabetic mother, grandchildren, hubby & me. Smoothies, protien shakes, ham salad, and more than shown on the commercial! I have cooked professionally for over 25 yrs, and been head cook in 2 different states at hospitals. I demand the best products, and the Magic Bullet will be in my kitchen forever with no competition! The old juicer, blender, chopper were tossed out! Mine is over 6 mos old, no problem with original gaskets or any breakage!

I purchased the Magic Bullet on 12/16/2006. It already stopped working.I have notified Homeland Huosewares, and will update you. I am extremely dissapointed.

This is a product that lives up to the infomercial hype. I've been using one for nearly 2 years, and just bought another one for my daughter in college. Still using the original gaskets. Nothing has broken. Very good coffee grinder. The juicer attachment is a joke- get a real one of you're serious about juicing. Smoothies- perfect. Easy to clean, fast to use. Useful for all kinds of food processing/blending. I can't imagine going back to the big old "normal" machines.

The Magic Bullet isn't worth the price quoted on TV or the $60 store price. It doesn't do a quarter of the things stated on the infomercial. It barely makes a decent smoothie. Grind cinnamon sticks, I don't think so. In fact, I know. That one little cinnamon stick sent the Bullet on to glory! I boxed it up and took it back to the store. I owned it for 3 days. Oh and don't get me started on those cheesy little washers! How about one came off and was chewed up inside the cup. What a mess! Save your money buy a regular upright blender. These upside down deals are not the answer and you don't need to spend this kind of money for a product that doesn't funtion as claimed and you don't need to spend that much money to puree food. Buy a $20 food mill if you want to make baby food.

This works best for smoothies and juicing fruits and vegetables when I start with at least a quarter container of juice or water; pulse, tap and shake, then blend the drink, processing no longer than 1 minute. After doing this with my vegetable/fruit mix, for a deliciously smooth fiber-free drink, I pour it through the juicer tube, saving the pulp for pancakes, soups, or to blend later into a smoothie. The bullet works best for salsa when I quickly pulse and shake (no more than three times) prequartered bite-size tomatoes with herbs, prechopped garlic and other seasonings. When a container leaks but cause is not obvious, I check the seal and carefully remove food that has gotten under it. I love ease of clean-up! When I remember consistently to check the blade cap tightness prior to removing the container from base and successfully avert leaks that result when cap loosens, I will be most pleased.

I Got this product as a Gift. I tried crushing ice to make a smoothie. I ended uo with large ice chunks instead. I had to then add a large amount of juice to get the blades to start working. This machine has no power to do anything but make baby food! Don't waste your money. Instead put it into buying a quality blender.

Mush everything! Cheap plastic & not for a crowd/large family. Cup capacity small & do not get much for your money. Shipping price is crazy. They do get it to you fast. It does get the job done but nothing like what you would expect. Does blend well but crushing/chopping ice, your hoovering to get that last bit to chop up! Food processing wise forget it! You get mush! It does save some counter space but all the cups and caps still have to be kept track of and take space, plus they don't stack so it's an inconvienence! You can't run the machine anymore than 60 seconds or it shuts down due to a safety mechanism and have to take forever to get it up and running. Even then you may end up burning the motor up. It's high powered and not fit for the cheap plastic they use to clip the blade into.

Purchased this in May of 2006, since then the plastic cups have broken and the crossd blades have completely broken down. I Wrote and called the company they gave me new parts with an extremely high shipping and handling amount I could have bought a new one for the amount I spent. Two months later I need the same parts again. Don't buy this crap !! You can't find replacement parts anywhere except at the company and it's just not worth it!

I bought this product over a year ago and I still use it almost every day. I use it to make homemade baby food, alfredo sauce, tomato sauce, smoothies, sherbet and other things. It doesn't chop as well as the infomercial said but for as much as I use it for other things, it doesn't bother me. I would definately recommend it, especially if you want to make fresh baby food.

My husband bought me one last year for my morning protein shakes... and it's perfect! I've had it just about a year now. I'm getting one for work, so that I can make my afternoon smoothies. He's also using it on a regular basis for his pre-workout shake! When used properly, this is a great tool. You can't hold the cup down to keep the motor running or yes, you will ruin it. Read the directions. Also, works better when using crushed iced.. not whole ice cubes, although I've used both just fine. I can make my morning shake using frozen fruit, milk, protein powder in 30 seconds flat! And it only takes a few seconds to clean. I've made salsa and it turned out great too.

If you want to pulverize anything, then this is your machine! I use it to make my morning shake...and yes I use ice cubes. I have to pulse it more, but it works. And I like that because it's small and easier to clean than a big blender. It will work well on hard cheeses such as parmesan, but if you don't want soup, don't plan on it 'chopping' onions and such. When I first got it I tried to make chicken salad and put big chunks of chicken, onion and a touch of mayo in it and it turned it all into mush...well the parts by the blade at any rate. Haven't tried coffee beans yet, but I bet it would work for that! I could also see using it to mix a queso blend, but beyond these things it's pretty useless. If you want something corsely chopped just use a knife!

It is great for making frozen drinks and purees. It will chop onions nicely but it will not chop softer products, like tomatoes. It makes a mush instead - not my idea of salsa. The size is handy and the mess is minimal, clean-up is very easy. The base unit held up for about half a dozen uses, then the upper rim got loose. Now I have to jiggle to remove the container from the base. The juicer attachment is completely useless. The blender cracked when I tried the remove the lid - cheap plastic.

I love my magic bullet. It takes up VERY little space so I keep it on the counter and plugged in. I mostly use it for smoothies and drinks. I love the colored rings, so we can tell who's drink is who's. Another cool thing is everyone can have their drink made to their own taste...and virtually NO clean up. The cups are sturdy. I often times am disappointed with purchases, but not this. I love it!

I was so excited to get my Magic Bullet but when I tried out the things they did on the infomercial, it was a big disappointment. Chopping with it is useless unless you want mush. I couldn't chop cheese or ice like they did either. The only thing it's good for is making milkshakes or smoothies. Even though it's a small appliance, it uses up a whole deep drawer of mine to store all the accessories that come with it. This was not a worthwhile purchase for me!

I have had my bullet for 3 months now and I love it more each day. I have a small apartment so space is critical! I would causion if you have a large family or need to make mass numbers this is probably not the tool. But for 1-4 people this is great. I use mine everyday! Seriously. It is so easy to use, to clean and takes up virtually no counter space. I have made guacamole, salsa, mousse, cream sauce, chopped onions and garlic, made eggs, chopped chicken, pancakes, and whipped cream, smothies. It has easily done every task in about 2 min or less. However, the vegtables are a bit tough because there is a finesse to not making mush out of them. For chopping this product is "ok" for something quick. I would recommend this product simply for the size, versatility and the fact it is easy to clean and store in a small apartment.

Bought the Magic Bullet for my g/f. She was able to use it for about 3 weeks before the motor burnt out. Followed the directions to the T about not running it for more then several seconds. No way to get JUST a replacement base, or ANY replacement parts to try and repair. For the cost of this product, go to [] and buy the cheapest equivalent of each kitchen appliance that this thing is supposed to do (blender, juicer, etc.). I GUARANTEE that the "cheap" appliances from [] will outlast this piece of shit.

I love this thing, mainly for making smoothies. It's really convenient to be able to put the ingredients right in the mug, and not anything else dirty. I've chopped nuts with it, but they ended up chopped a little too fine. However, since I use blenders mainly for liquids, I love this thing.

I like this blender. I was satisfied with it until i started having problems. At least one plastic nob on each cup has broken off, one flying and hitting me in the eye. Without all three knobs, they cannot be used. The rubber on the large blade wore down and does not work anymore. There are no replacement parts. The motor base is still working but I have no cups or blade.

I LOVE my Magic Bullet!! I use it every day to make smoothies and other drinks (no problems with ice) and my husband grinds his coffee beans and makes pico de gallo with it (chops onions & tomatoes just fine). I love that it doesn't take up a lot of room on my counter. I highly recommend this product to all!
