Love it

1/20/2007 - Mary of Florida, USA writes:

I use mine often enough that it is always on my counter. I puree fresh fruit in the summer then freeze it and eat it as sorbet; except for strawberries which I defrost for strawberry shortcake. Smoothies, milkshakes, Margaritas, etc. I've even used it for overcooked meats: ground them up, added some mayonaisse and used for sandwiches! I've had mine for more than a year but I have never mastered the right touch to make salsa that isn't mush. Great for making your own baby/toddler food or pet food. My one complaint is that the raised reinforcements inside make it harder to scoop thick things out or clean by hand- wish they were on the outside. However, if you put a drop of dishwashing detergent and hot water in it and give it a spin - it cleans ups fast and easy. Overall very happy.

Works fine

1/20/2007 - Will of Louisiana, USA writes:

I actually do not own one, my parents do. They have had it for a couple years now. My mom makes frozen fraps EVERY morning. It chops the ice just fine. I have used theirs a couple times while visiting. The thing definitely works. I think like any product, their may be some duds out there. Either that or some people are expecting a miracle performance. It does all that it claims. Its is a good buy. The only problem is if you put too much liquid in the cup, it will leak out of the sides.

Love It

1/20/2007 - Vicki of Ohio, USA writes:

I have used this item for over 1 year. I have a very small kitchen and this fits perfectly on my counter top. I grind coffee beans daily for a great cup of coffee, make frozen yogurt smoothies several days a week and blend eggs to make omlets. My unit did not include the blender, which was disappointing, but I find that the larger cup works for thoses times I need a larger portion. I would but this again. Great Item!

LOVE IT!!!

1/16/2007 - Angela of Kansas, USA writes:

I received the Magic Bullet as a gift. It did not include the juicer or full-size blender in the package I received. I love my Magic Bullet. It works faster than a normal blender and both my husband and I use it every day. I typically use it to make meal replacement smoothies which are easy to drink on the go. I would like to have the full size blender piece, but use mine just the way it is. I would (and have) recommend this product to my friends. In fact I can't stop talking about how much I love it.

What Junk

1/15/2007 - Andrew of Oregon, USA writes:

I purchased the Bullet about six months ago. It was ok for what we used it for, but when the "O" ring broke in half and I called Homeland Housewares to get it replaced, I was given the royal run around. I was told that I needed to take 8 different pictures of the machine and the book, email these to them with an explanation of the problem and then they would get back to me and “might” let me purchase a bag of 4 of the "O" rings for $7.95 plus shipping and handling. What a Scam!!

Great for drinks.

1/15/2007 - David of Nova Scotia, Canada writes:

I've owned my Magic Bullet for a year. I too loved the informercial and wanted to try it. So far I've only used it for making different types of drinks - milkshakes, smoothies, frozen coffee, slush. I've also frozen yogurt. It does a great job. I have no complaints. I've never used it for other foods yet, but I feel it has been worth my money. I would buy one again if only for its ability to make drinks.

nice AND loud

1/15/2007 - Katie of Michigan, USA writes:

UPDATE: I love my magic bullett. the only problem is that it is extremely loud. My 9 month old son actually is scared to death of it. He screams and cries everytime it is turned on. Also, I have only had it for 6 months and have already needed a new base. There was some sort of malfunction making it not stop. Other then all that, its great! Makes some awesome smoothies.

What a waste of money....

1/14/2007 - Judy of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

Don't waste your money on this one. It barely chops. I tried chopping onions with this and it just turned them to mush. I tried running it for a short time to do the job but it did nothing. The more I tried to get it to chop, the more mushy it got.

It Broke!

1/14/2007 - Serenity of Indiana, USA writes:

I was sold by the infomercial. It seemed like a perfect little mixer. I had it for 3 days when it just stopped working. It says not to mix longer then 30 seconds, but I only had it on for like 10 seconds. I only used it maybe 15 times. I am very disapointed.

Stinks!

1/14/2007 - Melissa of Ohio, USA writes:

This product STINKS! I was excited to try this, because it said that it did so many things. However, it was more hassle than anything. It did NOT chop the cheese up like it should have. THe blades did not do a good job at all, and it took more time then if I would have just done the grading of the cheese myself. I also tried it with making a smoothie...chopping the fruit was better...but for $80, I can do that with a knife.

Junk and sold by people with an attitude

1/13/2007 - JD of Texas, USA writes:

The motor burned up on 3 units in a year's time and I just used it to mince garlic! The first time, it was past the 30-day guarantee so they wouldn't return my money. They sent me a new unit and I had to send back the old. Again the unit burned out, and I encountered resistance when I called to report the problem. They said I was the only one having that problem. Online I learned I was one of MANY. It happened a third time, and I was informed that anything that breaks after a year from when I bought it would not be replaced. It doesn't chop as promised. I tried the salsa recipe and it was a disaster. I decided then to just use it just for mincing garlic. I'm stunned to see it still selling on infomercials, expecially after seeing how many people have been ripped off by this product!

better than others

1/11/2007 - Venus of New Jersey, USA writes:

I purchased this [] and got a really good deal. The product itself is okay, It's a pain changing cups, and making individual servings, but the blades are great. I still use the cups for my kids, thery are great because they have colored tops and I know who's cup is who's. Would definately recommend.

Kids Love It!

1/10/2007 - Kristy of Indiana, USA writes:

My daughter got this for Christmas and has used it almost daily since. It is so easy and does make so many things very quickly! They are digging the shakes and smoothies and I love that it isn't a big mess. They can each make what they want, choosing their own flavors, very quickly! We are hooked on this!

Magic - True Love Forever !

12/31/2006 - Mary of Missouri, USA writes:

I did the buy 1 get 1. I wish I had gotten more to give family! The problems here about "mush" are caused by OVER Filling - not PULSING, shaking to move things. READ the manual, do as instructed, practice! I use mine 4 or more times a day for cooking for a diabetic mother, grandchildren, hubby & me. Smoothies, protien shakes, ham salad, and more than shown on the commercial! I have cooked professionally for over 25 yrs, and been head cook in 2 different states at hospitals. I demand the best products, and the Magic Bullet will be in my kitchen forever with no competition! The old juicer, blender, chopper were tossed out! Mine is over 6 mos old, no problem with original gaskets or any breakage!

Works for my family

12/23/2006 - Michael of Georgia, USA writes:

This is a product that lives up to the infomercial hype. I've been using one for nearly 2 years, and just bought another one for my daughter in college. Still using the original gaskets. Nothing has broken. Very good coffee grinder. The juicer attachment is a joke- get a real one of you're serious about juicing. Smoothies- perfect. Easy to clean, fast to use. Useful for all kinds of food processing/blending. I can't imagine going back to the big old "normal" machines.

Not Worth It!

12/22/2006 - Pam of Maryland, USA writes:

The Magic Bullet isn't worth the price quoted on TV or the $60 store price. It doesn't do a quarter of the things stated on the infomercial. It barely makes a decent smoothie. Grind cinnamon sticks, I don't think so. In fact, I know. That one little cinnamon stick sent the Bullet on to glory! I boxed it up and took it back to the store. I owned it for 3 days. Oh and don't get me started on those cheesy little washers! How about one came off and was chewed up inside the cup. What a mess! Save your money buy a regular upright blender. These upside down deals are not the answer and you don't need to spend this kind of money for a product that doesn't funtion as claimed and you don't need to spend that much money to puree food. Buy a $20 food mill if you want to make baby food.

Follow Instructions. For Best Results Be Creative!

12/14/2006 - PJ of California, USA writes:

This works best for smoothies and juicing fruits and vegetables when I start with at least a quarter container of juice or water; pulse, tap and shake, then blend the drink, processing no longer than 1 minute. After doing this with my vegetable/fruit mix, for a deliciously smooth fiber-free drink, I pour it through the juicer tube, saving the pulp for pancakes, soups, or to blend later into a smoothie. The bullet works best for salsa when I quickly pulse and shake (no more than three times) prequartered bite-size tomatoes with herbs, prechopped garlic and other seasonings. When a container leaks but cause is not obvious, I check the seal and carefully remove food that has gotten under it. I love ease of clean-up! When I remember consistently to check the blade cap tightness prior to removing the container from base and successfully avert leaks that result when cap loosens, I will be most pleased.

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

12/13/2006 - Deni of Ontario, Canada writes:

I Got this product as a Gift. I tried crushing ice to make a smoothie. I ended uo with large ice chunks instead. I had to then add a large amount of juice to get the blades to start working. This machine has no power to do anything but make baby food! Don't waste your money. Instead put it into buying a quality blender.
