His friends don't trust him!

2/20/2007 - Rob of Colorado, USA writes:

I discovered today that John Becks Free and Clear has been taking $39.95 out of my debit account for several months, even after a rep from his company called me and I told him specifically that if I had decided to use his program I would call them. I did buy the dvds initially with the intent to review them to see if it was a legit program, and as you all know it isn't. I was willing to take the loss on the dvd package, that was ignorant of me as I now know. You may be interested in reading this review from a guy who says he is a friend of John Beck []. I think that says it all. I will always do research before calling a place like this from now on. I will make it my mission to report this to any place that will listen… SCAM BEWARE!

Ok info

2/18/2007 - Chris of Arizona, USA writes:

I also purchased this product after seeing this commercial about 8 times. I felt it had some good info but not worth the $40. I too was billed the $39 recurring for property vault which I never even signed into once. I was refunded after a little bickering with an associate. Much of his information you can just search on google it is all public knowledge and he really doesnt offer many secrets.

John Becks Free and Clear

2/16/2007 - Denise of New York, USA writes:

I like many others bought into the TV add. What a joke it turned out to be. If you should change your mind because you smartened up "every one" at the company John Beck free and clear become very antangonistic and verbally rude. They will tell you if you want your money back you will need to retain an attorney. Be smarter than I was "DO NOT DO IT"

Scams

1/22/2007 - Teya of Ohio, USA writes:

If I could go backwards, I would have read these reviews prior to any investment in this program. Fortunately, I have not invested a great deal, and am in the process of canceling this program before the product arrives. (I just ordered yesterday). My goal is to have the money refunded to my account, a $54 charge (how $39 turned into $54 I don't know). At any rate, I cancelled that debit card so they can't try to charge me for anything ever again.

John Beck's product worked for us

12/24/2006 - Anonymous of California, USA writes:

John Beck's product worked for us. We ordered the package and the mentoring program, but truly negotiated the price. Our mentor recommended various websites for land. We bid and "won" on several lots; researched for 2-weeks. Due diligence was key and nothing in life is FREE. The mentor told us what to look for and hoe to bid. Bought all properties for $500 to $900 each. Still holding them. $18.00 annual tax each. No joke. Will sell next year for thousands each. Called the assessors offices, county recorders, local realtors, developers, contractors, so it can be done. We're happy campers here. Maybe stop expecting quick money without the effort and spend that same amount of time putting your nose to the grindstone, so you can reap a future for you and your kids.

Free And Clear

11/1/2006 - Dennis of Missouri, USA writes:

This product is very little more than what you see on television. There are 6 cd/dvd's that come in the package. 3 of them say the virtually the same thing you see on T.V. What is worse, is then the phone calls start from various people who say you would be just right for one of their special programs for just a little money more. They also charge your charge card, WITHOUT prior authorization, a monthly "service" fee whether you use any of their services or not.

One in a million

11/1/2006 - Angela of Illinois, USA writes:

I saw this on tv.. Order the product, then I received a call about paying $2300.00 for training school. Ofcourse we signed up,but we had 3 days to back out for full refund.. 24 hours later we cancelled, getting my refund took some fighting but I got it.. Then just recently I received another call from John Beck's free and clear staff again trying to get me into their program. I said I am not interested the reply was "We don't need your kind." The product sucks and SO DOES THE STAFF!

dodged bullet ( maybe)

10/31/2006 - Scott of Minnesota, USA writes:

Like the rest of you, I ordered their product. Contrary to instructions, they called me. I was somewhat suspicious of that. Then they asked a lot of questions about my lines of credit, ie; credit cards, where I bank. They were somewhat persistent and at the very least, very curious about my credit card limits etc." Would you mind working ten hours a week for $100K+ per year?" That was last night on the phone. A "supervisor/ specialist" is supposed to call me back today. Gave me time to check out these reviews. Thanks for posting them. I just got done exchanging my current credit card for a new one based on your reviews. I'll bite the bullet for the $74.00 they billed my credit card for their advertised $40.00 "system." I don't know why I decide to check the reviews after I place an order and not before.

I Cancelled ASAP!

9/28/2006 - Loren of Texas, USA writes:

I ordered the materials and it arrive rather promptly. After going through some of the info. I quickly understood that it would take more than a part time effort just to make my initial $39.95 investment back. Then two different reps for JB called and wanted me to invest time and money into learning more. Then after a month my bank account was billed another $39.95 for the "property vault" something I thought I declined and wasn't able to use anyway. I was able to call the 1-888-461-9029 number, (In case you need to cancel as well)...and was told my money would be refunded, we'll see...I was very disappointed with this product and won't be a "sucker" again.

It's a SCAM

9/12/2006 - Ralph of Masqat, Oman writes:

I am located overseas and have tried this program for one month and for every bit of information, I requested they want more and more money. Several of the available properties are even out dated. Now, I am trying to cancel my account but the blood-sucking con-artist will not reply to my messages and I have been unable to get thru on the 800 number. Meanwhile they continue debiting my account. Take my advice and save your money by searching the internet for free information on delinquent tax properties.

Waste of time

9/8/2006 - Jonah of Massachusetts, USA writes:

Do not buy this product, there's absolutely nothing in the package that is worth any money. You can find the same information in about 10 minutes on the internet. He gives you the websites to go find the information yourself, BIG SCAM

Don't do it!!!

8/20/2006 - Kevin of Texas, USA writes:

This is a scam, plain and simple. I ordered the package and found it to be poorly written and lacking in useful information. Then the sharks started calling wanting to "mentor" me because the limited info I initially received wouldn't really help me make money. They started out requesting $10,000 for the extra help. I told them to get bent. John Beck should be ashamed of himself! (like he cares)

Hate to say it but.....

7/19/2006 - Beryl of Maryland, USA writes:

Well, I purchased this from a TV infomercial and thought, "39.99 is not too bad." After it arrived, I poured through all the material but realized this was more involved than he made it out to be and the info was not enough. I also noted that the information for my state was inaccurate (you can't just buy the liens, you also have to pay a high bid premium of which there was no mention in his book) Then 2 things happened: My account was charged another 39.99 and the consultant lackey started calling asking if I could invest some money for a mentor. I declined and got them to reimburse my account. I believe the tax sales are more complicated than he makes it out to be. I noticed in our area that most of the bids for this past auction was made by corporations. How can you compete with that? Buy this at your own risk......

Total Scam!

7/16/2006 - John of California, USA writes:

This is a total scam! The infomercial convinced me that investing less than $50 for this information couldn't hurt. It was a segue for phone hustlers trained to talk you out of thousands of dollars for "mentoring", guarantying success and return of your investment within 30-60 days, while assuring you that you have a 3 day Right of Refusal, so there is no risk. I did my research the following day, and deciding against the deal, contacted the company exercising my Right of Refusal, by phone, email, and registered mail. I'm here to tell you $8,499.00 later, with no product, no service, and no refund!

ITS CRAP!

6/22/2006 - Jen of Wisconsin, USA writes:

I bought this a few years back, thought I could possibly make money. Well, I used my checking acct. to purchase this product (which the money never came off of my acct.). I received this product, which was nothing but the repeat of the infomercial itself. A few days later a rep called to try to get me to upgrade to a mentor program. This was a waste of money!!!! I still have not had any money come out of my acct. for this product.

I've made $2500 in profit on my first two deals!

6/14/2006 - Steve of Tenessee, USA writes:

I wanted to thank John Beck for his Amazing Profit's tax sale course. Since I started the course in 11/05, I bought 9 parcels in a gated community with a golf course for only $90 and a $43 recording fee. Total cost was just $133. I sold my first property in 1/12/06 online for $14,25 and just sold the second property on 1/26/06 for $1,700! I did this all without having to travel to another state to buy property, I did it using the internet, phone and fax!!! Again, I just wanted to tell John Beck thank you and let everybody know that this can be easily done! Steve

Not Excited

6/3/2006 - Bill of Georgia, USA writes:

I've been in real estate for twenty years and was intrigued by John Becks infomercial and figured I had nothing to lose by spending $39.95. When I called to order I was attempted to be upsold into other programs etc. but was prepared for that and declined several times. I received the materials and went over them completely. I found the information concerning my state not to be current or correct. I was contacted by phone for mentoring but immediately declined the offer as well as on two additional follow up calls. My take on this "opportunity" is these tax sales are attended by professionals who bid up the price to a low rate of return. Unless you live in the boondocks there will be competition. I don't see a easy money making opportunity here. I'll be glad to sell you my materials for $19.95 plus shipping and handling.

We've lost THOUSANDS!

5/31/2006 - Shannon of Indiana, USA writes:

We purchased John Becks's Financial Freedom Free & Clear kit for $54.45. Before we could even try it, they phoned us and said that they were looking for only about 30 people to "qualify" to work directly with John Beck or one of his real estate professional specialists. They said 5 to 10 hours per week, little or no money down to buy properties, and we had to be "quick decision makers". They guaranteed our success in the program and to recover our initial $6,499.00 investment within 2 months and make a large profit by learning all the of secrets to the business. We were coerced to buy the program. We diligently tried and tried (30+ hours) per week, and this program does not work. It is a scam. We have now researched it, and thousands of others have been taken for thousands of dollars. The mentors information was vague, general, and confusing. It is a farce, and they refuse to refund our $6,499.00. Do NOT buy!

5/24/2006 - Albert of California, USA writes:

I urge everyone reading this that has not been suckered into buying this junk not to. I have recently bought into this mans garbage and bought the packet from the infomercial Big Mistake! i received a couple of dvds that were nothing other than the commercial playing over and over with some folders that did not make sense. after a day or two a representative called me and talked me into a higher plan that offers a mentor program i bought into it and can not get out.
