I must say, this is a very good product for good and whole nutrition. I love that you don't have to cut your fruit & veggies into pieces before using it, however, there are a few flaws about it. One being that you do have to use about 3-4 pieces of fruit to make a whole glass, but I don't think the machine is to blame for that. The only other complaint that I have is that the strainer is a little difficult to clean. Do Not attempt to clean it with a sponge or towel, you must buy a scrub brush. That makes it a lot easier to clean. You also have to break it down after every use, which can be a bit of a hassle. Overall, I think that this juicer is one of the best ones out there for the price. With a few minor tweeks, this could be a really awesome product.

I bought the juicer after listening to all the wonderful benefits of "juicing". First off, it was a pain to put together. Secondly, after I finally used it, I instantly regretted it after learning that I had to go back and disassemble the thing to wash it and it's not the easiest to clean. On top of all that, I learned that I'd have to quickly consume whatever I juiced because fresh juice, unlike what's bought in the store, isn't pasturized so it won't keep as long as store bought. Of course it takes more than just one piece of fruit to get a good glass of juice and who wants to go through all that cleaning for just one glass? Needless to say, this thing is just taking up space on my counter. Save your money.

I have used it without any problem every day for months and months, even my kids have gotten into drinking vegatable juice! Even "icky" vegetables can be disguised in fruit juice. I have even added the pulp to breads and soups... very tasty! However..... juicing IS expensive. Five carrots and a whole apple just to get one good sized glass of juice. You DO have to brush out the strainer (cone) before you put it in the dishwasher or it will not come clean. Other than that, just put the pieces in the dishwasher and they all come out fine. My biggest complaint is that the plastic on the inside of the top cover, side and spout is now well stained with juice. Nothing will take out the dingy orangish/greenish color that has permeated the inside of the white plastic pieces.

I love my Power Juicer. I purchased it at [], don't remember the price. I used it all throughout my pregnancy. Can't say that I used the recipe book, cause I didn't, but I absolutely love my juicer!! Yes, the clean up is a bit much, but you ARE taking whole fruits and shoving them into a blender. The fruit doesn't just disappear, and so yes, it must be cleaned out of the juicer. Although, for what it is worth, I think that the cleaning is rather simple. There are only like 4 parts to clean. The juice tastes great! The only thing is, you have to use a a lot of fruit to make a cup of juice. But is that the juicer's fault or the fruit's?

Why I am not happy with the powerjuicer from Jack Lanne: Do you know the TV commercial. No pulp? Huh? This juicer produces a lot of pulp! No wet pulp? Huh? All the pulp is wet! Even from hard fruits likes apples and peers! No hard cleaning? Huh? You have the dissemble the whole thing every time you have juiced just one glass. The pulp is everyway in this machine! And, you actually have to tilt the machine to get the last bit of juice. If you don't, you will spoil this juice on the floor, while trying to dissemble and clean the machine. Ok, the juice tastes well, but it feels that those TV commercials are like a big marketing and advertising scam for a lot of money!
