My aunt has terrible lungs. After her last stay in the hospital she came to stay with my family and brought her Ionic Pro with her. She keeps it in her room and we clean the filter regularly. It works great.

I like it, I smoke, and I have it on everyday. It is good for a room, I would not use one for a whole house, but it definitely takes away cigarette smoke. I clean it once a month, and it works great. Another great thing is that you never have to replace the filter, you just wipe it, very fast and convient. I highly recommend it.

I purchased mine about 5 months ago, I like it, I have mine on the top of my bedroom dresser, and I do smoke, so it does take the smoke out of the room, my family members who do not smoke, tell me they can not smell it in my room, so it definitely works. The blue light is very bright, but I have gotten used to it. The one feature I really like is that you can clean it, and it never needs any filters replaced on it, so it is very convient in that manner, I clean it once a month. I would not use it for a whole house filter, but I definitely recommend it for a room filter. I give it a thumbs up.

I purchased this product for my mom cause she has emphysema. That was before her next appointment. She told him she got one & he said "Sent It Back", get one with the HEPA filter system. I tried the small on they send you with the Ionic Turbo Pro, I work in the morning with a bad headache and watery burning eyes from the smell of that little breeze it puts outs but the nitelight is great.

Ok I ended up purchasing 3 units. I hooked them up and they made the air smell fresher in the house. I cleaned the blades every few days and they worked for 2 years. Last year I had one go out. Then not long after, another one went out. There are 3 tiny wires inside of the unit(these are used to precharge the air passing through with a charge so that the particles in it will stick to the plates) and one broke in each one. I guess they burned. Apparently there is no way to get replacement wires even though I feel that the units would work if I could get the wires replaced. Considering that I paid over 500 dollars for those 3 units and got 2 years of use out of them, I would say that the units do not live up to expectations. The air in my home could not be cleaned by those units alone, they were ok for odor, but the dust had to be removed by a filter as well as the units. Now I have 2 units that are not repairable(the third is not functioning either) and I feel that I was charged too much for the product.
Works for me.

The product seems to be working fine so far. No complaints.Light is not that bad and if it is just cover it with tape. It is not meant to move air tremendously it works under a different principle.

Bought unit for $175 at []. runs well for an 1hr then it cycles on and off..mostly off. Turned if off and re-pluged it to the outlet...runs for a while then does the same thing..put tissue paper strips on vent they blow up...then they stay down..more down then up...don't know if suppose to do this or not...but seems like it's only working half the time...taking it back for refund

I had wanted to buy an Ionic air purifier for some time but couldn't stomach paying the amount Sharper Image wanted. I had also seen the infomercial for Ionic Pro Turbo. I thought about it and said, why not I can return it if I don't like it. Well I got them in about 3 weeks (I purchased 4 Ionic Pro Turbos). I unpacked the first one and put it in my family room (this was about 2:00 am, I am a night owl) and soon fell asleep. I woke up at about 6:00am and noticed a huge difference in the air. The room was no longer stuffy. I was very happy with the results. I have to say I was very surprised by the results. I thought I was going to have to send them back right away. I am very pleased. A plus was also getting a bathroom Ionic Pro in every box.

This product does work as well as it can since it does not move the air. Works best if you put it right in front of a heat vent. good as a secondary puifier but would not recomend as a primary.

Very pleased with this product and find it does cut down on the dust within the house. Quiet operation but I did stick a piece of tape over the operating light as it was quite bright. I have one in the bedroom and find I'm not bothered with a stuffy nose when I sleep. Easy to clean and I recommend this product.

It really does help with my allergies and it came with the bathroom one as a free gift, best of all it was under $100. the blue light is annoying, but if you like clean air, then its not that big of a deal. i put a piece of tape over the light and it seems to help alot. the other issue i have is when it makes clicking noises in the middle of the night, kind of like a bug zapper, but if you are not a super light sleeper, then it's fine, i love it

Yes, this thing really works. The proof is when you clean the blades and see all the small particles it has pulled out of the air. The only thing I don't like about it is the bright blue power light. It is much TOO bright! It's really unnerving in the bedroom when no other lights are on. A minor thing I suppose, as it does not affect the performance of the product, but the mfg. should consider toning it down considerably. Directions for cleaning are a bit misleading in that it suggests running water on the blades to clean. In my experience the particles on the blades just shed the water and it runs right off witout removing any of the yuck. I've found that a soft, slightly damp cloth or paper towel does a much better job. All in all, I really like the product and feel that my $150 was well spent.

I wanted to buy an Ionic air purifyer from Sharper image but couldn't afford to pay $350. I got the Ionic Pro from the infomercial for $149 - a much better price! It works the same and seems to be the same quality as the competitor units. At first you think it's not working because it doesn't blow out air like a regular air cleaner. BUT when you open up the machine after a week to clean it - you see all the distgusting dirt that was collected from the air. I guess it ionizes the air and electrostatically attracts all the dirt particles. Either way I'm really happy to have it and to keep the air in my house so much cleaner. I can even smell the difference. That musty smell is gone and no my house smells clean and fresh. I strongly advise anyone who cares about what they breathe to get one.

I'm not sure if mine is just defective or it this product just sucks. There is almost no air flow through this unit. Also the blue power led is bright enough to light a room. Not good for the bedroom. I wish I could remember where I bought it so I could return it. Waste of money.
