I bought one of these about 6 months ago and have used it many times for different dishes with great results. I've cooked everything from cassaroles to cookies and its worked very well. My safety concern is that it tells you in the manual not to leave it plugged in. After reading several articles regarding the safety of this product, I am very cautious about how I use it. The articles said that the oven will catch fire during normal use or even when not in use while plugged in. While walking through my local Mega Retailer recently they had a posting recalling a Black & Decker toaster that had a similar control panel. The recall stated that the toaster would catch fire as well. The Infrawave Toaster Oven is not Underwriters Laboritories rated or listed and hence my concern over it all. Otherwise its a great appliance.

We cook our chicken in a square glass pan with a foil cover as instructed in the book that came with the product. It comes out tender and flavorful without heating the kitchen up with strong fumes or large amount of heat in about an hour. Let it sit for a few minutes in the oven to sightly cool and then remove the product. Never have had to clean the inside of the oven or had a mess. Just set the machine and go do something else. Wonder what the life of the tube is though. Wish I had another oven for traveling in my car. Hope they manufacture these ovens in a little larger unit for the home. We love it and use it daily sometimes more than once for meal prep!!!!

I bought an Infrawave oven for my fiancee (now husband) last Christmas. He wanted a counter top oven for his studio apartment which doesn't have an oven. He wanted something simple to bake his french bread pizza in, but I also wanted to be able to use it to make food for him when I visited. This was the best of both worlds! It's a little smaller than I had anticipated and sometimes I have to make slight adjustments to the time to make sure my recipes come out right, but otherwise it works great! We both enjoy how it cooks our food in a fraction of the time than a conventional oven. It's a really great product.

This cooks the best chicken and hambugers ever!It would be nice for the rack to have smaller slots and if the bottom tray was coated for easier cleaning(maranades really stick when they drip). The time conversion isn't perfect but is like any product you have to work with it a little. I would buy this product again!

I recently ordered the Wave Oven. So far I have not received it nor has a charge shown up on my credit card. Does anyone have the ordering phone number? I want to check on the order I placed and I cannot find the number. Thanks!

It has limited pre-programmed food choices. It doesn't even tell you how long to cook a frozen hamburger or chicken roll? I tried approximating the best I could and even used the 'convert' function to convert standard bake times and temperatures into Infrawave time. However, when I have done this, it blackens on top and is cold inside. What gives?

Does a nice job at tasks where a microwave fails and quite a bit better than a typical toaster over. Browns and crisps well without burning. Nice for oven fries. Does a good job baking things like muffins and cookies. Cooking times are reasonable but not super fast as it might leave you to expect. Keypad is a bit small and could use a backlight. Would be nice if it were larger but not a big issue. DVD does a good job explaining as there is a bit of getting aquainted with it to get the most out of it. Performance met my expectations. Pretty good product that fills the gap between microwaves and conventional ovens. Only real compaint was excessive S&H charges.

This oven is decent. It is a bit small which is frustrating. Also, the commercial claims to cook food a lot faster then traditional methods and I've found that to be untrue. A few things cook faster but most things do not. You have to cover certain dishes with foil to keep from browning on fast on top. It is important to watch the DVD or read the manual carefully but even so it still does not live up to the hyped up claims in my eyes and I do a lot of cooking. Overall it is ok, cooks cookies, makes toast, reheats nicely and is pretty good for frozen dishes. I wish the display had a backlight and I wish that companies would make products exactly as they calim they should work.

I ordered it off the TV commercial, and paid full price, $129 plus shipping and tax - about $149. They sent a REFURBISHED one, with a dent on the side. It also didn't heat well on the right side of the oven. They said to use it a while. I did. In spite of having to turn the food, the FOOD was absolutely delicious. They are now replacing with a new one and it should arrive any day. They stand behind their products. They should not send REFURBISHED unless you order that!!!

I asked for this as a Christmas gift because I hate microwaves. I also live in an apartment with this old beat up stove. I've never used it once since living here! The Infrawave is good, but doesn't totally live up to it's claims. Lower time foods don't heat quicker in my opinion. Something that takes 10 or 12 minutes to heat still takes 10 or 12 minutes to cook. Cooking something like a lasagna that takes almost an hour does cook quicker than an oven, but not as quick as the commercial would have you believe. Cleanup is pretty simple as the tray inside is removable. Not sure what someone else was describing that the door doesn't fit well. Mine fits fine. I gave it a 3/5 rating because it is a little small and doesn't totally cook as quick as it says.

My dad bought one because he does not like to microwave. We are very satified so far. Food tastes great. Very easy to use. Very safe, too, since it shuts itself off at the end of the programmed cycle. No danger of kitchen fire when you forget to shut off a stove burner. A real bonus for older people like my dad! I'm waiting to see if they will market larger models: like one that will fit a 10"x13" casserole dish.

i returned this product because it does not meet stated claims. it takes as long as conventional ovens and the food browns, but raw inside.

I have had my Infrawave oven for 8 months and I use it all the time. It reheats food in less time and the oven cools down quickly after it is turned off. It is great for frozen food. I did notice that I had to adjust the time on some foods so it wouldn't over cook. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to save time and not heat up their kitchen with their regular oven. It does just about everything the infomercial says it will.

Being newly single again and without lots of cooking experience, I bought this as a replacement to my microwave. However, quick popcorn, re-heatable chinese food boxes, heat & eat from the same dish made me invest in a smaller microwave model. Still, I find that I don't use my regular oven nearly as much now. Frozen steaks come out really fast and almost perfect for me now. I used to overcook fish fillets. The other night my salmon was so tender and juicy with just the right amount of crispy outside. Reheated leftovers are no longer dried out or unevenly cooked. Cons: Difficult to clean. Also, it cannot handle a regular sized muffin tin.

I've had this for 7 months now and its virtually replaced my microwave, toaster and toaster oven. As soon as I got it I tested it with some frozen foods (pizza, chicken wings, oven fries) and though skeptical, I was delighted at how quickly it cooked them. Not having to preheat is a great time saver just by itself, but it cooks faster as well. My kitchen is small so counter space is at a premium but, since the Infrawave replaced my toaster too, I actually ended up saving space since I can also use the top of the Infrawave. Two to four more inches of width would be a good improvement though, and I do wonder how long the halogen light will maintain its performance. As far as I can see it is not replaceable.

The Infrawave Oven does not live up to its claims. It is too small, not well built (door does not fit flush and heat escapes) and it is a nightmare to keep clean. We were totally disappointed with the oven and we should know since we have owned just about every brand and model there is.

I do love the way the infrawave oven cooks foods in a more healthy way. I broiled a piece of pork loin last night, and the joy of the meal is gone when it comes to clean up. The entire cleaning process took over an hour, and I am still not satisfied. I have used a lot of appliances in my lifetime, while I rate this product an A+ on variety of foods it will do well, I really have to give it a D- when it comes to keeping the infrawave oven clean.

I have most of the cooking gizmos you could ever think of from GTXpress 101 to Ronco's Set it & Forget it. My Infrawave is far more superior than I thought. Its been spotless since I have tried to cook my favorite frozen Salmon fillet straight from Costco rubbing all season salt. Umm and crabcakes are a cinch to cook. This is truly a great product which saves us $$$ in eating out & healthier!

I'm a divorced guy who hates cooking and I bought this from a retail store just before Christmas. I use it mainly for cooking meat and found it fast, browns nicely and leaves little mess. The touch pad could be a little clearer and the cooking space a little larger but other then that I recommend it 100%.
