UPDATE: Yes, I have ordered and tried the Huggable Hangers and find them to be a worthwhile product. Although, I am aware of others complaints and have taken good notice of the material's and construction, which I think is not as good as Mrs. Mangano so LOUDLY proclaims! Nonetheless, I've never had one break on me,- but then I have more sense to know better than to put very heavy items on such lightweight hangers. Also, I keep an organized closet, so that the hangers don't tangle. BUT when it comes to [], the retail operator, well, I just have no respect for the organization. Ordered Joy Mangano's Clothes Drier on a monthly payment plan. Asked Rep. if my account could be drafted for each monthly payment on a specific date, to which he, the Rep., affirmatively said Yes, they WOULD do that on that specific date. Weeks later [] drafted my account on ANOTHER DATE other than my requested date (for which I had clearly explained my reason for asking such a request of them). That particular draft thusly caused a series of financially absorbing OVERDRAFTS. I formally wrote [] and provided more than enough evidence directly from my bank showing the overdrafts caused by each of the remaining two(2) drafts they made on my account. [] replied: We do not see where [] has been at fault. And made no mention of the fact that I had requested drafts be made on a specific date, nor any mention of the fact that ALL their call-ins are recorded. To this date, Oct. 7, 2008 [] still refuses to reimburse the overdraft fees amounting to $297.64! Needless, to say I will NEVER, NEVER order from [] EVER AGAIN!!! While most of their products are good products, I would advise everyone to only order products that would take a single-payment ONLY, not any MONTHLY payment's. Or to specifically set-up an account for [] and other retailers, that only holds JUST ENOUGH MONEY for the product! And be sure to tell your bank, TO NOT ALLOW ANY DRAFT TO BE COMPLETED IF THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH FUNDS IN THE ACCOUNT! Lesson learned: Watch who you order from. Only deal with companies that are known for advancing refunds/reimbursements properly (definitely not []).

I bought these today to try to clean up my closet and couldn't believe that what filled my closet before now only fills half I used the suit/pant hangers, I hung them in four down and I used the clips for two skirts. My only complaint is that I didn't buy another box.

I order a set, then ordered another set, then order a set for my husband. They are great. Yes if you use the suit type hanger on your t's it is awkward; they only work on items that are buttoned down the front or open. and yes, the clips are a waste. I have used them for coats, put damp shirts on them to dry (no marks). I threw out all my plastic tube-like hangers and replaced them with these. I am buying more!! I am rating just the hanger, not clips.

Or house is for sale and I needed to get the overly stuffed closets under control. The hangers DID free up a huge amount of room. clothes stay ff the floor and I can actually find things. I don't like the clips for pants or skirts though

These are nice hangers. The textured surface does make it a little difficult to hang up t-shirt type tops. I like the way they don't make those little pointy things on the shoulders of your clothes.

I purchased these hangers at a local store and so far LOVE them!! My closet looks much better and things arent' jammed in. I haven't had problems with lint, but I got the light ones. I will wait a few months to see how well these work out then I will decide if I will redo my husband's closet. I didn't get any clips, just the two kinds of hangers.
Not so Huggable

On a positive note, they do make my closet look better because all of the hangers are uniform, but that's about it. The hangers are okay, but not the miracle workers they portray on the show. The cascading hooks take up more room once hung side to side, than do regular hangers. Did not gain any additional space because of that problem; actually lost space. The clips are horrible!! They are hard to keep in place and become useless, as if they are "sprung" if you hang more than one piece. My pants and skirts keep falling off. Even when I hang only one piece, sometimes it falls off. Although I love the look, it’s not worth the price.

Since the review of this product was excellent, I wanted to try it for myself as I was going to clean my closet. When I was cleaning my closet, I bought whole bunch of huggable hanger (over $50 worth) form [], and changed my entire old hanger to the huggable hanger. Yes, it is not slippery, so the clothes stays, but that was only benefit that you are going to get. I happened to buy the black huggable hanger, and hung the white cotton pants, and found out (in the next day) some black stain left on the pants, with the clear wrinkle mark. For this, I didn't use the clip type. I just used the regular hanger with the bar (like the triangle shape one). I was so disappointed. It is a thin (compared to other hanger), and it doesn't slip, so maybe, it will save your closet space, but, if I have to remove the color stain from the hanger (whatever the hanger's color is) and remove the wrinkle on the middle of the pants (because the bottom bar is too thin --other hanger is usually round), I don't think I will use it. With the excellent review and the "good house keeping" award stamp totally mislead me. I even throw awayed all the case (and cover with the price tag) for the huggable hanger that I purchased from [], so I cannot even return the product (for my money back). Also, I throw away all my old hanger, I went to [] again, bought the bunch of regular hanger, and swiched all huggable hanger that I used while I was cleaning my closet to the regular hanger again. I could use the clip type hanger to hang the pants, but then, I would need taller closet space (which I don't have much), and it cost more to get the clip. Plus, you cannot put the suit in the plastic cover with the zipper (since the plastic cover is not long enough). So, I usually use one triangle type hanger to hang the pants and jacket. So, anyway, overall, this product didn't meet for my need and my satisfaction. If I knew that it leaves the stain on the clothes and leaves the wrinkle mark because of too thin, I wouldn't purchase it.

I bought this product in Dec of '07 and had wanted them for a while. They make the closet look nice but I would not put a coat on them and two were broken in the box. A bit expensive for the quality and the clips are a waste as they are hard to use and tore the velvet off one of the hangers I had tried to put it on. I would not shove all my clothes to the end of the closet like they do on TV unless you like to iron. I have been trying no return info came with the order to get the broken ones replaced.

I love these hangers. I purchased an entire closet during an [] special and there were additional items like dress organizers and hat boxes, etc. I can't tell you the difference these hangers made. All my clothes looked neat and lined up and NOTHING has slid off--even skinny lingerie straps. Some reviewer said hers broke and she only put sweaters and blouses on them...I say that's wrong. I have my heavy coats hanging and they hold up well. I love, love, love my closet now. I've thrown all my other hangers out and purchased more. They are worth it.

I bought the hangers from [] and they are great. I've had them (3 sets) for over a year now and they are strong, thin and keeps my closet organized as stated. Thanks to HH, no clothes are ever on the floor, especially silky or stringy blouses/tanks. I have replaced all other hangers with my huggable hangers. And, I fit more clothes in my closets!! They are great!

These are wonderful hangers. I like them a lot and have thrown out all my other hangers. I do not use the clips because they are awful. I have the older clips and I understand that they have changed them. However, I am rating the hangers and they are wonderful. I am a larger person and blouses don't fall off and they don't leave bumps.

I have used these hangers for at least 2-3 years and love them. With the variety of colors offered now, I can quickly hang, sort and organize my family's clothing in the laundry room for easy transfer to closets. I have even reduced the need of a clothes chest which gives me much needed extra room in my daughters' bedroom. The hangers easily made room in the closet for all of their t-shirts and jeans.. When the kids pull a shirt off 1 hanger, the shirts on the hangers nearby do not fall off. Almost never have loose and fallen clothes lying on the closet floor. There is a problem with the clips.. too hard to mess with.. I just skipped using the clips after a few tries. But the clothes easily stay on the hangers just folded over rather than clipped. I still use old fashioned skirt hangers if needed.. The clip issue needs to be addressed..I would love a large pkg deal without all the needless accessories.. Hangers are all I want.

I really like these hangers. They actually do use less space and clothing doesn't fall off them. Don't bother with the 4 layer pants hanger, you can't get your pants off them without making a mess. Also don't bother with the clips. They are expensive, hard tomaneuver and break.

I was very leery about purchasing these hangers but am very glad I did. My closets were overflowing and I didn't have room for my husband except for a very small portion of one closet. Now there is plenty of room for all of my clothes and my husband can have his half of our master closet as well!! I haven't used the accessories but I only wanted the hangers so I'm not rating those. I would recommend these hangers and have not had any problems with clothes slipping off or breaking. I would like to see the price be a little more economical but not change anything of the product.
Clips for Huggable Hangers

I literally have thousands of the hangers and really like them. However, there is a major problem with the clips for the pants/skirt hangers. The first clips were extremely cheap and easily broke. Needless to say, I have only a few of those clips left. The problem is that it is impossible to purchase the new finger clips. I check online about 3 times a week. If the clips happen to be available, which is almost never, there may be 2 colors (never the colors I need). [] cannot tell me if or when they clips will be available. When [] presents these hangers, it would be an ethical, good business practice to inform consumers that these clips are virtually impossible to get. Buy these hangers only if you don't care if you ever have the clips.

The first time I saw the hangers on TV, it looked "too good to be true." Then a friend bought them and couldn't rave enough about how wonderful they are. I bought my own set (back when you just got the hangers)and found that I LOVE them! I've even bought some to give as gifts. Living in Texas, I wear a lot of sleeveless tops. It's always been a challenge to keep my clothes from slipping off the hanger and pooling on the floor. That has never happened with thid product. They are well made and strong. None have broken. My closet is so organized, with every item neatly lined up. I couldn't recommend a product more than I do this one. I have only purchased the hangers, not the accessories. I would love to see a good skirt/pant hanger with the thin/non-slip properties of the blouse/shirt hanger.

I really loved the idea of having a totally organized closet & bought a whole system of these hangers. While they do look neater, I have issues with the overall quality & performance. The pant/skirt clips are SO hard to open & I've had things slip to the floor using them; they just would not hold. They also are poorly designed & tend to slip right off of the hanger after you've struggled to get them open. The hangers themselves are not very strong, I've had several break & I am not hanging coats on them, just blouses & sweaters! Also, I have a couple of negligees with very thin straps & unfortunately they DO slip right off. I got more than one set, so can't blame it on a 'bad batch.' I even wrote to the company I purchased from complaining about their quality control. Overall, a wonderful concept, but not worth the exorbitant price they charge for these. For that price I expect a LOT.
