I LOVE IT!!!!

4/12/2008 - Susan Bruce of VA, USA writes:

I highly suggest this product if you have tile floors. I bought the H2O Mop two months ago and I love it! It works great on my tile floors. I will never go back to a regular dirty nasty mop!!! It does not leave streaks or puddles and dries very quickly. As long as you don't have floors that require wax, or are excessively dirty, or have groves, pockets or tears, you should have no problem. I use to dread moping the floor, now I gladly mop at every other day because I know it only takes mintues and there are no nasty mops or dirty water to deal with. Best of all it's eco-friendly and no harsh chemical residue for the baby to crawl around in.

DO NOT BUY

4/11/2008 - Dwayne of Ontario, Canada writes:

Do Not Buy. This product started sparking and then caught on fire from the wire out of product out of the power cord. They will not give me my money back just an exchange for another one that can burn up.

4/9/2008 - doug of N>V, U.S.A. writes:

This H2o mop is a piece of junk. First one lasted a week. Had a bad electrical smell. They sent me a new one free that makes a lawn mower sound and doesn not produce any steam.

H&S is 1/2 the price of the machine!

4/9/2008 - m morriss of ON, Canada writes:

My order purchased in Canada from [], arrived promptly. The operating manual, screws, spare washers were missing. I requested already twice thru email to forward the missing parts, however, I had no response. The Customer Dept phone is perhaps non existent since it is busy ring regardless when you call. Further, the handling and postage is 1/2 the price of the machine, in Canada $50, which is not acceptable. To my friends I will recommend to purchase similar or better Bisset machine from [] for $99, no postage and handling cost!!!!!

Love It!

4/8/2008 - Dee of Texas, USA writes:

I was looking for a steam mop and bought this one from a retailer after reading the ratings on Eopinions. So far, it has far exceeded my expectations. We have laminate and vinyl floors and it has done an excellent job of cleaning the floors. It does leave the floor damp, but dries quickly and is much less wet than a traditional mop leaves it. I have not seen the infomercial, but I do love this mop.

Steam Mop

4/8/2008 - Jan of Texas, USA writes:

I purchased my Steam Mop in January 2008. The jury has been out but today I made my final decision on the effectiveness which is zero. Too much water left on the floor and not enough dirt cleaned up. It may loosen but does not mop up very well. Today I went back to my Swiffer wet jet and was astounded at the amount of dirt loosened and picked up. I have laminate floors and not happy at all with the steam mop. Will give the machine to my daughter who has ceramic tile (white) and see what she thinks. Think the machine is too flimsy and too pricey. I now see there are a few stores carrying it at $20 less money. The return shipping is way too costly. Final answer - zero-. Also, I was told there was aa 120 day money back guarantee, not 30 days.

Must try

4/7/2008 - Minnie Thacker of Texas, US writes:

DO NOT USE ALL CAPS. In comparison to the Shark steam mop: H2O has better grounded cord (needs to be longer)and I like it being up higher on the handle than the Shark that is on the bottom. The only thing that concerns me is how wet the floors get. Seems to clean well but I really would like more steam and less water on the floor. I love my Shark steam mop. Not sure which one I like better. H2O seems to be better quality but seems to be less steam and more water. My Shark really steams well and almost dries instantly! I have a lot of tile and both clean it well, just have to wait longer for the H2O to dry. I love the carpet refresher glide on my Shark. I am afraid to use the H2O carpet glide on carpet due to the amount of water it leaves but loved the Shark carpet glide results. No dampness at all. If you are looker for what seems to be better quality built and don't mind waiting for the floor to dry, the H2O is great! But if you like the almost instant dry and cleans really well, the Shark is fantastic. The cord being on the bottom of the Shark is a real pain. It's hard to decide which I like better other than the instant dry of the Shark! Depends on your likes. I used the Shark in my daughter's salon and it was wonderful. Took hairspray buildup off the floor with ease. The H2O will do the same but with more water.

H2O Mop

4/3/2008 - Connie of Tennessee, USA writes:

Do not buy this mop. It leaves water all over the floor. When I called they asked me if I wanted to keep it for 20% off. I said no I don't want a product that does not work. It cost me 34.89 plus 12.27 to ship back. I think they should fefund the shipping also. The pads are not microfiber. Microfiber will wring out water. These do not.

Thane h20 steam mop-thumbs down!

4/2/2008 - K of az, usa writes:

Product did not live up to it's claims. It left my wood laminate floors wet. It did nothing for my area carpet but leave me with a wet dirty rug. Very disappointing.

Best purchase ever!!!

4/2/2008 - Jen of ON, Canada writes:

I love this mop!! It's lightweight, easy to use, and cleans better than any chemicals we have tried. My Mother-in-law borrowed ours, and got a stain off her tile that she had not been able to get out with anything else. Now she has her own!! I found moping before the H2O very hard, as I have a bad back, and arthritis. My husband would always have to help me. Now I can mop anytime I need to...and it is quick!! Can't say a bad thing about it. :)

did an okay job

3/31/2008 - Karen of BC, Canada writes:

We bought the mop over a year ago as we just had a baby. I don't think it's worth the price you pay..maybe 50 bucks or something. It does an okay job...better than your own mop per se...but if I wiped the floor with a lysol wipe you could see it wasn't as clean as the infomercial says. doesn't work on carpet. does leave the floor wet for a bit...just as if you had used a swiffer mop or something. We used it quite often..every 2 days...as we have dogs and want our home clean for our baby. Today, I went to turn it on..and it no longer steams. Just leaves cold water in puddles everywhere. I did use it a lot...but am disappointed that I paid over 100 bucks for it and it died in a year. I'm sure the warrantee has expired as well. Will look to find a similar product in the stores..but won't buy it online again.

Awesome!

3/29/2008 - Kendall of California, USA writes:

I ordered the product in within 7 days it was on my doorstep, which was quite surprising to me. I've used it only three times and I loved it from the very first. I have laminate flooring that was impossible to clean without getting streaks. This product left my floors spotless and streak-free! It's simple to operate, does the job in half the time. Who wouldn't love that!?! As far as leaving water on the floor, it WILL do that if you're not using it properly. Following the directions I find that it leaves very little water on the floor, no puddles. It doesn't dry as quickly as it shows on TV, but it's just minutes. I would recommend it to anyone. However, I must say that I have no earthly idea what good it could possibly do on carpets.....I tried one little area with NO results whatsoever. Fortunately I didn't purchase it for that purpose. If someone has in mind to purchase it for carpet cleaning, forget it! It does NOT work on carpet! I would buy this product again, with no reservations. Hopefully I won't have to, I am counting on this one lasting.

Please read before buying!

3/25/2008 - Tina of az, usa writes:

I was excited to get the product, including the additional steamer. I tried it on three separate occasions, each time doing it a little differently to try to get it to work properly. I even double-checked their troubleshooting guide. It was a waste of $140. The water mostly puddled underneath the mop head, there was as much liquid water as there was steam. I am very disappointed with this product, and I am attempting to get a FULL refund. Do not waste your money on this product!!

not worth buying

3/23/2008 - Dannica of Ontario, Canada writes:

I forgot to check the reviews on this product so bought the h20 mop feb 29/2008. I was told it was ok on laminates but leaves water on the floor so I have to dry it with a clean rag. It doesn’t get rid of the stain on carpets- what a waste of time. Not worth $149 cdn and won’t recommend to buy.

My best mop ever

3/23/2008 - Donna of WI, USA writes:

I saw this on tv and begged my husband to get it. I do not like to mop at all. The mop bucket never gets emptied. Everything of importance always tends to gravitate towards the bucket of nasty water. This sounded like an easy solution. The Good... First off all let me say that it is so much fun. My son and his friends ask me if they can mop, and steam the carpet. It is ready to go in less than a minute, quicken than you can wring out the old mop. It does a great job on regular floor surfaces like tile, linoleum, wood, and etc. I had to let my mother-in -law use it for three days, so she could try it out too (she has different floor types than me). She could not believe how fresh her bathroom smelled after using the H20 Mop. I told her that there was nothing but water in there, but she said that it smelled clean. The carpet is significantly softer after being steamed. Fresh stains come out amazing. We even had some rust stains on the carpet from when the "professionals" steam cleaned and set the couch down, and the H20 Mop is slowly taking that away. All floor surfaces dry relatively fast. Now the bad... It takes a little bit to get used to. You do not have to push down hard like a regular mop. With stains in the carpets, it gets a litlle trickier. If the stain is old, it is not as easy to come out as they make it seem on tv. Like the rust I mentioned earlier. I am really hoping that the stains due come out of carpets like they state on commercials

Wonderful Product

3/21/2008 - Sandra of Toronto, Canada writes:

I am VERY happy with this product. I use distilled water exclusively just as I do in my steam iron to prevent calcium build-up. We have cream carpeting in a rental unit. I didn't think anything was going to lift the old stains, but it does. It doesn't soak the carpet either. I would love to use this on a regular basis on new carpet. If you leave it too long in any area, on any kind of surface, it will puddle. The trick is to keep the mop moving. It still dries very quickly. I love not using chemicals. I do wish the cord was longer. That is my only negative. This is a huge improvemnet over any other type of mop you can use.
