I love it!

2/27/2008 - Dagmar of Connecticut, USA writes:

I purchased the product in November last year. It was easy to set up and get going. It cleaned my vinyl floor in the kitchen and the tile floors in the bathrooms incredibly well! I as well used it to steam my carpet. At first I was not sure how it is going to pick up dirt since there is a glider in between, but as I looked at the pad after I was finished, I was shocked how dirty it was! I have a little puppy and as everyone knows, puppies have accidents. The mop works really well on stains of every kind and with the help of steam it deodorizes at the same time so I don't have to buy expensive enzyme sprays in order to get rid of the pee smell. I regularly freshen up my carpets and I noticed that the whole room smells much cleaner. Overall I'm very happy with it! Some of the reviews mentioned the too short cable. I don't really realize it because I have a lot of sockets, but this is something I would probably complain about if I only had one socket per room. Definately recommend it to everyone who is sick of buckets and loves it clean!

Not great

2/26/2008 - Tamatha of Quebec, Canada writes:

I received the mop and it actually worked great for about 2 months and then it did not produce anymore steam, therefore leaving the floor dirty. I checked everything, the only problem is that when I put the pad on the steam doesn't come through. It's too bad it didn't last longer 'cause I really liked it! Quality vs price does not add up!

Not Happy

2/24/2008 - Theresa of Illinois, USA writes:

I am not happy at all with this product, it leaves water on the floor. I asked before I purchased if it left water on the floor because I had laminate flooring, I was told no it would not leave any water on the floor. Well I was lied to, and the shipping costs more than it is worth to ship back. I will yard sale this one.

The Only One Steaming was Me!

2/24/2008 - Lily of Florida, USA writes:

The poduct arrived after a 1 1/2 months of waiting, although I paid for expedite mail delivery, it arrived by USPS. The poduct does not have the power it claims, nor cleans like the commercialclaims. It was a waste of my time and money.

When will I learn...

2/21/2008 - Cyndi of Ohio, USA writes:

When am I going to learn not to get pulled in by these infomercials. Grant it the H2O mop looks very cool and it does steam your floors but when you watch the infomercial they claim that your floors dry so fast. Not! There is way too much water left on the floor (better to use my Swiffer Wet Jet) and I had to go over it with a dry mop to get the excess water picked up. I really got it for my carpets to just freshen..well that was OK to freshen but not clean. Again I would use Fabreeze to freshen up carpets. It didn't even get the indentations out of the carpet from moving a heavy table like they showed on the infomercial and I even went over the carpet about 20-30 times like it said to do to remove. It did help a little but not completely. Save your money and don't get. You get the same results using the Swiffer Wet Jet.

Infomercial Ripp off!

2/18/2008 - Jennifer of Missouri, USA writes:

Mad that I talked myself into buying this! I purchased the item in late Nov, I haven't opened product but had decicded against the purchase and called to return it! And I was told that after 30 days I was basically S.O.L. ! This is exactly the reason why most infomercials have such a negative rep.......... I could see the point if I had used the product and then after I got what I wanted, but I have NOT even opened the item!

It's...okay.

2/17/2008 - John of Ontario, Canada writes:

It basically does what it sets out to do -- clean your floor using steam. Doesn't do anything noticeable to carpet. Reasonable job on tile and like. I don't dare to try it on my hardwood. What with steam being water and all, it doesn't come close to doing it in the near-completely-dry way that it claims on TV. That said, it's not quite as wet as you'd get with a mop & bucket, and it seemed to dry faster. The ad is openly misleading. The version I saw clearly said you could add your favourite cleaning solution (Mr. Clean, etc.). The salesperson (we made the mistake of buying it from the []) just as clearly said that we should add NOTHING to the tank because anything except water will gum up the works. So in the end, I'm unclear if my floors are actually clean or if they just look that way. Not worth the money by about $50, but not a total waste of the rest.

good product

2/17/2008 - anna of New Hampshire, USA writes:

i agree with some of the other reviews that the cord should be longer..also, mine tips overs..does not stand well.but overall, i am pleased with the results...the infocommercial shows stains coming out of carpets...mine didn't but i like the fact that my floors dry quickly and that i don't have to mess with mop, pail and water anymore...

JUNK...Horrible Product

2/16/2008 - Bill of Ohio, USA writes:

I purchased this product with rush delivery costing $148.84. It worked one time leaving the floor very wet and slippery. The next time it would not produce any steam. I called the company who tried to help resolve my problem. It didn't work. They tried to send me a new machine at my expense, again. After much hastle I got a Return Authorization Number, and the returns department told me I had to have it returned by a certain date. I did that and they had the H2O MOP in their hands well before the due date and today I received a letter saying I am out of luck on a refund because of the 30 day policy. Good lesson learned. DON'T BUY from this company unless you want to throw your money out the window.

love it!

2/6/2008 - Sue of Rhode Island, USA writes:

The mop works great on my vinyl kitchen floor, my ceramic tile bathroom and hardwoods throughout the rest of the house. Although floors were still wet when done they dried quickly and left no streaks. The hardwoods and vinyl were definitely cleaner than with a conventional mop. The cord is too short however.

Very Happy

2/5/2008 - Bonnie of Florida, USA writes:

Living in Florida, we have ceramic tile floor everywhere. Other products (including mop, swifter, etc.)cleaned well, but left streaks which show up in the sunlight. This product does NOT leave streaks. If used properly (follow directions carefully), it does ot leave puddles or brown spots. We wash the pad after each use. The floor dries quickly, although not as quickly as the informercial tries to make you believe. I wish is stood on its own and that the cord was longer, but those are minor complaints compared to the way our floors look when we are done - great!! I have recommended the product to my sister-in-law who has sealed wood floors.

bad purchase

2/4/2008 - marie of Manitoba, Canada writes:

It does leave water on the surface. I do not have hard wood floors, but when I did our Kitchen floors, there was alot of water remaining. Not what they intend you to believe. Very slippery and messy.

I LOVE THIS GADGET!

2/4/2008 - Lynn of Georgia, USA writes:

I don't regret one penny of the purchase price for the H20 Mop. I got my bathroom done in less than 7 minutes, and the buildup of Mop & Glo I had been using disappeared and the original new shine of the floor came back. The kitchen was a snap as well. I have one very small area of wood floor that's been a little neglected, and it looks better after cleaning it with the H20 Mop than it has in years. It still needs refinishing, but it's not nearly as unsightly as before.

Love it

1/31/2008 - Linda of Colorado, USA writes:

I love this mop...The steam is wonderful and cleans my floors perfect even my husband thinks the floors shine. Regular mopping left water spots on the floors but with the H2O the floors dry in no time at all. The cord is to short so I just attache another cord and away I go so it's not a big deal. However I would not recommed this product to an older person because it's harder push around than a regular mop. I'm 58 and I have no problems but I can see a 70 or 80 year old having a hard time pushing it.

HOUSEKEEPERS OPINION!

1/23/2008 - Dana of Illinois, USA writes:

I LOVE not using chemicals...it does NOT leave anymore water on floor than a regular mop and I think it is easy to push and works well. On floors with grout, you need a brissled machine, but this is nice to atleast sanatize. I think the price was too much. I would have bought a comparable product at local store if I would have thoguht twice. Another con is the short cord and it does not have an off button, just unplug to turn off. The portable steamer is not worth the extra $15.00 shipping...complete JUNK. Lasts for less than 1 minute, not even enough for inside of a small micro. Then takes 10 plus minutes to be able to refill. My take: I'd return my mop and buy cheaper Bissell if it didn't cost so much to return!

H20 Steam Mop

1/22/2008 - Dawn of Georgia, USA writes:

I ordered the H2O Steam Mop and it worked great on my bathroom tile floors only. Very clean & shiny. But when I used it on my hardwoods (the main reason I bought the mop), my floors turned out dull. It's like the shine was removed! I do like the mop though and it beats pulling out a mop & bucket. The instructions suggested using vinegar in the water if the floors turned out pale or dull, so I will try that next time.

Works well for what it is

1/18/2008 - Andrew of Maine, USA writes:

Although it becomes obvious during assembly of the mop that quality is not very good, it works surprisingly well. I have used it on wood floors and the kitchen tile and it works good for its lack of chemicals. Makes for a good way to get the floors moderately clean without the use of chemicals, this is nice during the winter when the floors get dirty on a daily basis and it's too cold to open any doors or windows to air out the chemical smell. Probably not worth the full price, but it's easy to use and doesn't leave streaks.

JUNK!!!!!

1/17/2008 - Gina of Massachusetts, USA writes:

This thing is a piece of junk. I cant believe I wasted my money on this pos. It wont even produce any steam the first attempt!!! Loud noise, and no steam. Also got ripped off on shipping and handling. The $15 "free" hand held which I also got robbed on is better at making cappuchino than it is on my cleaning. Does nothing!Save your money. I learned a lesson. Read ratings before you buy.
