Before I spoke with the Trane Company, the manufacturer, I was using the H20 Mop incorrectly. I had kept the steam going the whole time I was cleaning and it did produce alot of water on the floor. They told me to click on the steam for 5 seconds, then turn it off, continue mopping the floor and this should clean almost the entire room. It did! And the floor dried quickly also. It works! Try it the correct way.

The H2O mop did leave more water on the floor then expected. The wood floor was wet for 20 minutes after using the mop. The mop does get hot but the steam eventually gives you nothing more then a wet towel on the bottom of a long handle and gets floors way to wet in the long run. The steamer did not work as on TV. The steam from the unit wasn't hot enough to even burn my fingers when it came out. This steamer that comes with the mop is not worth it either. It will not even come close to cleaning anything like it shows on TV. To me this is false advertising and should be regulated and banned from TV. 2 star rating. Don't meet basic performance!

If you have vinyl floors don't buy this product, it scratched my floor. It doesn't dry quickly either, I would say the normal drying time for mopping. However the carpet cleaner does refresh your carpets.

Cleans tile floors, counter tops, shower walls, and windows. Yea! I Love it. It gets in clorners, is easy to clean up, and does a great job.

Really works! I left my floor dirty for weeks on purpose and all the dirt and build in grime came up in a snap. I am finally a satisfied homemaker.

i can tell you what i disliked about this product. it leaked when not in use, left a lot of water on the floor, stopped working until my husband fixed it, i had rust coming out of the steam vents on to the cleaning pad, the cord was too short. when it broke down again my husband tore the thing apart to see what was wrong once again, he found a metal valve that should have been brass so it wouldn't cause it to rust. by this point i told him never mind trying to fix the darn thing just strip it of parts he could save maybe for later use and toss the piece of garbage out in the trash. beware of this product and stick with your mops/buckets ladies and gents!

I have used this product for several months now. It has done well for me. Here's one thing I have liked - my bathroom linoleum will stain by the toilet of not cleaned for several weeks. With the H20 mop, it lifts that darn orange - like stain right out. Makes the linoleum actually brighter. Does the same for the carpets (with the blue ring. I just used it where my dog uses the carpet for a toilet. You should see what it picked up! The pad was BLACK. Now for the most part I use the microfiber pads. I have 9. Yes, they were expensive. I also bought a good amount of the paper pads. They make no sense - you toss them afterwards. When you launder the microfiber pads, they are like new. But, gosh does this machine pick up a lot of stuff. I have used it in my master bedroom, my son's room, downstairs and it never fails to leave the floor much better off than previously. Now, I am not sure how much better. The kicker is the staircase - I used to use my big carpet cleaning machine with the wand but this is so much easier. I'm done in literally minutes. The consumables are a bit expensive but I only clean every three weeks so it is not bad - the carpet stain remover is pricey but I like what it does so I have several bottles around - I believe one bottle will do my entire carpeting throughout the house. Hope this has been helpful.

Do not buy from any TV infomercial advertisement! My mop did not work, long distance to call for help. They will not refund any shipping or provide pre-paid shipping to send back something that never worked! Buy this local!

This product did nothing that it claimed to do, so we sent it back. They don't refund shipping and handling which is $ 34.99 of your first payment, so you only get back about $10. I get a better clean with my old mop, and that only cost $ 10.

use this product in my hair salon and just purchased another! I have noticed you have to use several pads takes 3 to do shop because the pads get soaked and dirty but hey I have clean spot free floors and real light wood bleach even left spots on my almost white wood! I love this thing and the fact that i user no chemicals makes it even better!

I have been using my H20 mop for about six months now and I still love it. Today it would not steam but it turned out I had not pushed the water container completely in. I have never had puddles of water on the floor, and the wetness it does leave, steam = water, dries very quickly. The kids love to use it and it is easy for them to use. My floors are all hardwood except for the kitchen and bathrooms, which have light tile and all of the rooms come clean easily. Perhaps some of the problems people are having have to do with improperly using the mop. If you let the the mop set for a minute after you plug it in the cover will get damp and will glide easily. Also, if your floors are particularly dirty the first time you use it you may have to do them again a couple of times to see the best results. After that if you clean your floors regularly you shouldn't have any problems.

I just used my H2O mop for the first time yesterday on tile and linoleum. I have never had such clean floors! It dried quickly and was so easy to use and get up the dirt and stains. It will make cleaning day much much easier and less of a hassle!

Saw the Mop lots of time on the infommercial...Didn't want to pay shipping etc. Finally decided to buy it at our local "housewares" store last week. First used it on extra bathroom floor of old cemented tiles..did pull up the dirt but left much too much water. Could have hand-wrung a mop dryer..Then to my laminate floor in the kitchen. Again, cleaned up spots and marks, but much too much water left..Laminate floors not supposed to have that much water on them..Had to dry the floor with a dry mop and then use a fan to finish the drying....Feel the infommercial not truthful about the excess water which remains...Returning to the store today.

I absolutely love the way this mop cleans hard surfaces. I have a house with sealed hardwood floors and tile throughout and this works great on cleaning without chemicals. I have cleaned my floors with a microfiber cloth mop sprayed with surface cleaner, mop & bucket, and scrub brush on my hands and knees. But this is by far the easiest way to clen my floors. I have a new grandbaby and I feel better knowing this sanitizes with steam without chenicals. The floors are left slightly wet but they dry quickly. The only drawback is that the water container does tend to leak if you leave the mop sitting unused with water in it but I can get the job done so fast it rarely sits long anyway. I just make sure to empty it immediately after I am done.

I did purchase the steam mop, love it, for those of you having problems with the short cord, I just added an extention cord and keep it with the machine. I think that works great! I found that if you keep the machine over a stain for a few seconds longer than just going over a stain or grout like normal, it seems to penetrate it better and lift the stain, sometimes. You also have to change the pad at least 3 times, dirty ones spread old dirt! I also have all hardwood floors and tile. It over all is a really good produt, better than the alternative nasty sponge mop that spreads bacteria.

I bought this product and the first time I used it I loved it. The second time water poured out of it. I figured out the problem. If you don't have the water container top on tight, very tight, it will leak. Once I tighened it, works like a charm.

I believed the commericial and could not wait for the product to arrive. I used it according to the directions but does not live up to the commericals promises. Floors are still wet and need to dry them by hand, cord to short, and does not clean carpeting. I was also the fool to purchase the shampoo at 4x the store price. If you return it you have to pay shipping and handling in addition to the $35 already paid. The same product is on store shelves. Buy it there at least if your disappointed you can return it!

I LOVE this thing though. we dont use chemicals. so, this is THE way to go. the steam cleans up messes from my kids and it works like a charm.. I havent and wont use it on my carpet though. only on the hardwods and tile floors. I do recommend it. Chemicals are AWFUL. this is 100% natural! TWO THUMBS UP on the H20 Mop!

I watched the infomercial a few times before I decided to try my luck with this product. Usually as seen on TV only works on TV! My house is ALL harwood and tile, and I am a nurse so I detest dirty floors! LOVED THIS PRODUCT! It works beautifully! Doesn't dry immediately, but dries very quickly. I recently bought one for my Mom! Recommend to all the other nurses at work!

My mom bought this and I tried it. It did not clean nor was there the clean smell that you get when you use a regular mop. Come to find out the company sold her credit card number to a company called [] supposedly out of CT. Her credit card was charge $19.95 for travel coupons that she did not order. She is disabled and not abel to travel so why would she purchase such a product. BUYER BEWARE.
