I love the GT express 101. I have the one with 4 compartments. It's perfect to make those small frozen pizzas. Rather than using the micro (wich makes them soggy & uncooked) I thaw them out and cut them in 1/2 and just stick them in the GT for 7 mins. It cooks them perfect. I make lots of stuff like meatballs, little cakes, etc. I find it more practical than a micro or a convection oven. You don't have to wait for it to pre heat and food comes out quickly. I also love to make omlets. Then come out super fluffy and don't have an ugly egg taste you can get from pans. I recomend it for quick use but not really for gormet meals like the comercial says.

Being a single parent of two teenage boys I thought this product would work. the thing about this product is that is small, the non-stick surface wore odd after the second time i used it, and finally be aware that you need to have SMALL piece of meat. In other words that lady can take her bullshit product and shove it up her ass.

I love mine. I even bought the double one. Your non-stick may not be holding up if you haven't been using non-stick spray from the very bdginning like the manual says. I haven't had any trouble with mine and I've had mine for about 3 years now. I've given them as gifts too and everyone had loved it too.

Not as easy as seen on TV. Cooking sections are much smaller than they appear, and a REAL pain to clean if anything bubbles over. A 6" tortilla is to big for this. Another thing to go in a garage sale.

I have had one of these cookers for well over a year now and I have to say it gets more use then even the can opener! It's so much fun to try new recipes. As for someone's review below, the non-stick coating is still in perfect condition on mine after countless uses. If you like creating quick recipes and like snacking, then get one!

When I first recieved the product i completely fell in love with it.. my friends enjoyed all the yummy food i made for them. sure it wasnt anything gourmet but it was decent. Pita, wraps. This product is good for those who needs to save a little counter space...Although the product name melted away with heat so just be careful with that. all in all i was happy with what i got

While the product use and operation is great for small portions for quick meals, clean up has proved to be less than satisfactory. I have had the product for just over 1 month and I have used it approximately 20 times. The non-stick surface has completely worn out (proper cleaning instructions were followed, and, the cooking surfaces were regularly "seasoned"). The cleaning of the unit takes far too long given that the cooking surfaces are not removable to facilitate cleaning. I would not buy this unit again until the company resolves this problem.

I don't know why I bought the product really, as there's no way I'd ever serve up half moon shaped meals to my guests. I think I was hoping it would steer me away from unhealthy snacks, and that I could make something yummy and nutritious out of the leftovers in my fridge. I tried out a few of the recipes, some where bizarre, to say the least (baked soup - that's just wrong!) Everything came out waterlogged and soggy and basically inedible. Load of rubbish George Foreman grills are much more versatile, I'd recommend one of them instead.

I got this item for mothers day i have already cooKED 3 items in it. I have made the cakes, stuffed soup and the pot pies. I realy love this item. As long as you dont over fill the wells there is no mess to clean up. i would like to see this item made bigger, and make it so the wells come out for easier cleaning

I couldn't wait to use my GT Express and I think it's great. I made chicken breast in it and love to make hot pockets. I think it could use some minor adjustments such as a temperature control. I brought the double one and i don't like that both sides must heat up if I'm only using one. There is a red light that goes on when plugged in, however it should have another light when it is ready for cooking. It definately looks larger on TV than what it really is. Other than that I think it's fine for what I use it for.

The non-stick coating is coming off. The writing is smeared off from washing. There is a great chance of burning yourself with the back open like it is. Does not cook a chicken breast tender and juicy, more like hard on the outside and raw in the middle. Can't turn heat up or down. No on off switch, plug in and it's on. Never found much use for it. If all this isn't enough they keep trying to sell you more things when you call to buy it, charge outrageous shipping and handling and they were supposed to charge my card in two equal installments, but charged two-thirds one month and the last third the second month. Lastly they told me I could get something extra if I paid for it all at once, but they didn't know what that something was. How weird is that?

Sounded like a good deal for the price. I spend more on the ground shipping than on the product. My cooker works great, but it is only a tiny relica of the one on TV. Fortunately, they sent me 2 tiny weenie cookers. Now, I cook one whole tortilla if I cut it 4 ways !

The first time I used this the lid fell on my hand and burned it-ouch! It should have a little click lock type of hinge. Anyway, after that I was very tentative but used it. Nothing cooked like they say it would but I found if you put less stuffing or smaller amounts than it was ok. Better to buy a sandwich maker and get better results. I never understand why they don't make these things without removable grids to clean them!

I've only been using my GT Xpress a few weeks, but it's been so much fun! My favorite thing to do is make hot pocket sandwiches, and they come out absolutely delicious. A little cooking spray ensures that everything comes out of the wells smoothly. The spatula is incredibly annoying, though, but cleanup is as easy as they advertise - just a quick wipe and it's done.

We have gotten some TV results, but the cooking chambers are way smaller than they look on TV and makes it almost impossible to do most of the TV demos. It is used mostly for making eggs like the ones on egg mcmuffins and it does a good job.

Love & adore this cooker. Fast cooking with delicious results every time. I make lunch in it every day because we are pressed for time.

THE GOOD: What I like about mine, is that my teenagers can make a tasty sandwich or wrap after school. Just a slice of bread, or tortilla and some fillings like tuna or chicken and cheese and it's great. Comes out like on TV. No problem with the non-stick coating. THE BAD: Not everything comes out great. Bigger pieces of meat, like chicken are seldom cooked all the way through...but the outsides are really over done. Omlets the same...eggs raw in the center. The UGLY! Hard to clean. The infomercial says to just wipe it down...how CLEAN is that?!!?? I still try to soap and water clean it, but it's hard not to get water on just the cooking surface. CONCLUSION: If you want to just use it for tasty sandwiches and burritos, great. Don't expect to make a full family meal out of it. I wish the cooking surfaces were removable for cleaning.

I purchased this product in May, the first time I used it the non stick coating came off. Even the logo on the top smudged off. Cheap! I found it difficult to clean and yes the meat just boils in its own juices. I called the company and they offered to send me another one. That was 4 months ago. I have called 4 times and each time I get a different story like the person who entered the request did it incorrectly, or your item is backordered, or we shipped it out 4 weeks ago. I still havent received my replacment so I asked for a refund and was refused. I wouldnt put my trust in this product and the health hazzard because of the non stick coating comming off is questionable. I dont expect my replacement, if I ever receive it, to perfom any better. I wish they would just give me my money back.

This product is woefully misrepresented and somewhat deceptive when seen on television informercials. For starters, I found this product to be far too small to really cook anything large enough to eat. The cooking chambers are very, very small. So in order to cook a sandwich or piece of meat, it must also be very small. I think the concept of this kind of cooker to be a promising one, but in actual use, it fails in it's attempt to satisfy what I really wanted it to be- an small appliance that enables me to cook large enough meals quickly and conveniently. Sadly, it fails on both counts.

My biggest complaint with this product is that it doesn't get hot enough to sear anything. As a result, any meat I tried (including those funky wraps they demo'd in the infomercial) boiled in its own juices instead of frying. The end product was tough and inedible. Cleanup was a pain (far from the "just wipe it!" promise). I couldn't get any of the results they showed on TV. Save your money and learn to cook!
