another way to make money

10/31/2006 - Jim of Connecticut, USA writes:

as a board certified internist and geriatrician I can frankly state that this book is a piece of crap. If people want to spend money they should buy gifts for underpriviliged children.

HOW STUPID AM I?

10/7/2006 - David of Oregon, USA writes:

Someone else already used that line, but it applies to my feelings about this purchase perfectly as well. The advice they claim is in the book is simply not in the book. There is no other way to say it. The infomercial is a bald-faced lie. One of the worst purchases I have ever made. Plus they sign you up for other things, so be careful and watch your bank statement for weird charges.

Poorly written, poorly produced

7/6/2006 - Marilynn of Quebec, Canada writes:

I teach healing and was looking for a text I could refer to. The book is a big disappointment. While some of the content may be good, it is so poorly organized it is difficult to find information on a specific subject. Published on cheap paper in small font, the book has neither a long shelf life nor readability for seniors or those who are battling illness. Lot of hype... little to show for it. Forget it... google the ailment on line.

Bottom Line

4/10/2006 - Ted of Virginia, USA writes:

I purchased this book and in only five minutes knew I had been ripped off by Bottom Line Books. I not only was charged the S&H but had to pay to return the book for credit, and still don't have a credit for it. Bottom Line...don't buy it!

So-so

4/8/2006 - Jeff of Connecticut, USA writes:

The number of recommendations in both books are numerous but each entry is brief giving a step-by-step description of what to do. Typically each category, say, sleeplessness, has maybe 2 or 3 ideas. There is no description of the ideas' efficacy, balancing view, or where the idea came from. They do indicate who the author of the idea is and that person may be a professor somewhere or even an MD not affilicated with a teaching school.

Should be "billed" as a joke book!!!

2/13/2006 - Erik of Illinois, USA writes:

My mom bought me this book, she was hoping it might help me "help myself"; I am currently going through chemo therapy for Hodgkins disease. Of course this (along w/ most other books of this type) suggest that if you follow their advice you can "cure" yourself of cancer, along w/ numerous other diseases. God bless my mom, but she tends to be very gullible, especially if she sees it on T.V.; she tends to think "well, it's on T.V., it must work", I just hope that after he last couple purchases of products she has seen on T.V. her mind set has changed a bit. This book is very evasive, not wanting to say specifics in regards to "curing" yourself of diseases like cancer. It constantly points to other publications (of which if you want to know what they say, you have to buy the book).
