Decent.....but not great

This item was purchased to replace a unit from another manufacturer which finally gave out. This unit is very quiet during operation and is really easy to clean up after use. For thawed meats I find it to work well, but for frozen products like you see them cooking on the infomercials, it does not perform nearly as well. Overall I am fairly satisfied, but when this one gives out, I would probably purchase a unit like I originally had.
Good Oven but Reliable?

We have used this oven for about 9 months now, and we do like it. But it just gave out on us and we are currently working with the company on getting the heating unit replaced. They said they would send us one without us sending the old one in, but they also said they were out of them right now and that it may be six weeks before we get it. So we will see.
My 13 Year Old Grandson loves the cooking results

I am retired and I have enjoyed this product. It's important that I don't have to wait for long periods of time and everything is so convenient for me. I have cooked various meats, turkey burgers, chicken, bacon and smoked turkey. The turkey didn't come out as well as the other meats (but I intend to try it again). I love the fact that the fat drips off. One thing I had to figure out, that was 1 in or 3 inch away from the heat source. I am encouraged that my 13 year old grandson enjoys the finished products. I am looking forward to trying vegetables and fruits. Cleaning the product, after it cools off, has been easy.

I am a man who loves to cook.(Skinny, mind you.)And a man who enjoys gadgets and such. I was at an estate buy out a few weeks ago and found an un-opened box of Thane Housewares Products. One of three enclosed boxes had "Flavor Wave Oven deluxe" Marked on the outside. Interested, I bought the lot of three boxes in one for $50.00 Bucks cash. My Boyfriend grumbling at the time that I would purchase something "New" instead of an antique. Well,.. turns out I got a great deal!!! This Flavor Wave oven is the best!! I totally Love it!! I am cooking more than I can eat because it's so fun to use and evrything comes out perfectly delicious!! It's amazing!! And I have Two!! because the box I bagged contained two ovens and a Le Presse Chopper thing wich I have yet to try. The point is,. This Oven is FANTASTIC!!
Worth every penny

My family and I love our new Flavor Wave Oven. I love it because it is so easy to use and the clean up time is almost nothing. My family loves it because they know they are getting a home cooked meal every night instead of fast food. So far I have cooked steaks and chicken, and they came out great. We are very happy with this purchase. I think the only one's that are not going to be very happy with this purchase are the fast food places.

Cooks steaks great, but does a poor job cooking larger items like turkeys. The skin turns out to be tough like cement and the meat has an almost sickening taste to it. Also, $75.00 for shipping and handling? WOW!
