I bought this bag at a local store two weeks ago. I found it very hard to put my stuff in it that fit great with my other bag. When I put stuff in the pocket in the flap it was hard to close. There is no zippers on top which caused my wallet and some pills to fall out. The expandable zippers never stay closed and yesterday one broke. The other zipper pull fell off. Now I have to go buy a new bag and I was so excited to get this product. Only to lfind out it was one of my worst buys of the year.

I made the mistake of ordering this bag by phone. There were so many options that after 20 minutes on the phone I wasn't sure what was going on and I couldn't speak with a live representative. My bag came and it ended up costing me $61.64 for one bag and their free items. It appears that my shipping costs came to over $40. I am notifying the CT Attorney General about this company's advertising and misrepresentations. Not only that, the bag is cheap, small and useless.

Something I didn't think about when I bought this bag was the fact that it is made for a right handed person. Not convenient at all for lefty. I also felt the quality was poor.

I bought this purse specifically for a trip to Europe because it looked perfect for organizing all of my documents, cell phone, etc. The concept is good (being expandable, mesh pockets, lots of pockets, etc) but the quality is poor and the design is poor. The pockets open sideways and upside down on some parts so if a zipper breaks (or isn't zipped), everything falls out. The front flap also has the pockets upside down so when you open it to get to your things, you have to fuss with the zipper and everything fall out of it. The worst part was that I hadn't even had this purse for a day before the outside front zipper broke. Soon after, I noticed the stitching was coming undone. Finally, the actual strap completely frayed and separated from the purse while I was gone and I ended up having to buy a child's purse (the only place nearby that wasn't going to require a second mortgage for a purse!!!) to use for the rest of my trip. Of course, I'm stuck with it because their return policy is deplorable. Sidenote: I have to say that the gagging, choking reviewer may need to consider some sort of therapy because this purse did NOT smell any more than any other leather item and I'm extremely sensitive with smells. Just a thought.

Purse stinks, literally. Poorly tanned leather reeks and it is incredibly poorly made. I'm returning it and will never rely on the Buxton brand name again. I regret the loss of money in the shipping fees but think too much of my local landfill to want it to end up there!

I am disappointed in this product. It did not perform as it was shown in the infomercial at all. It seems larger on tv than it is in real life.

I changed everything I had from my old purse to this one and I couldn't fit everything into it so I had to change it all back to my old purse. Be Smarter than me and Don't Buy.

The Buxton bag is poorly constructed, flimsy and cheap looking. EVen fully expanded, it had less room than the medium sized purse (about 12 inches by 9 by 6) I bought it to replace. The stitiching was unravelling when I took it out of the plastic bag in which is was shipped. It had genuine leather stamped in large letters on the outside. When fully expanded, it leaves a gap for things to fall out of the inside pocket. I will return it, even though after return postage I will only get about $10 back. (and they don't make it easy to return. There is no return form shipped with the purse.

Well, as others, I had issues dealing with customer service. The order form is not designed well. I ended up with 2 bags, but they did credit me for 1 of the bags & told me to keep both. But, I do not have a use for this bag. It says it has all these compartments & holds so much, I could barely put my wallet in, along with my other things. It might be better designed if the back & front compartments werent upsidedown & sideays when upright. If you carry very little, this bag might be for you.

I purchased 2 bags, 1 black & 1 red. The zippers seem to be the biggest problem. My husband repaired the zipper on a mesh compartment on my black bag. The zipper on the same compartment on the red bag works sometimes. They need to use a better grade of zippers. I have used my bags for over 1 year. I purchased them because of the shoulder straps and because they were suppose to hold a lot. I use a cane, so a reliable shoulder bag is essential for me. The only other problem I had was trying to use the credit card holders. They are not tight enough and tend to let the cards slide out. I now use a separate credit card holder to solve that problem. I find that the two problems I've had are relatively minor compared with the convenience this bag has given me. And yes, I can carry 1 bottle of water and fasten the bag, along with everything else I have in it. It did take quite a while for delivery, about 2 months. However, I was not expecting it for any special occasion, so it really didn't make a difference. My bags are leather and holding up very well as leather should. Believe me, I do not take care of my bags, they get thrown around a lot. My Greyhound even stole it once and got inside, without opening it taking out a business card case. There were no teeth marks on the bag. I think that says something for the leather.

Loved the idea of the purse, and loved it when I first got it. Unfortunately, my cell phone (tiny as it is) kept falling out of the holder because the velcro wouldn't stick well. Very annoying, as it happened frequently. Another problem was it came unzipped down the sides frequently, causing the contents to fall out on more than one occasion. Finally got fed up when the zipper pull popped off 2 months after purchase. Poor quality in contrast to the raving infomercial. Like they say, for just 19.95.

When my bag arrived, I took everything out of my current purse and moved it to this bag where it is easy to find everything. I couldn't even find a place to put my money, much less glasses, etc. There were no special compartments for these items. By the time I put everything in this bag, it was too bulky to carry. I immediately put everything back in my current bag and put the new bag in a yard sale to recoup my loss. Someone scammed the cashier at the sale and bought it for $2. I am out $$$$. By the time I added a wallet, which still didn't offer a place for coins, and postage - About $50 some odd dollars. Don't buy!!!

My husband ordered this bag for me for my Birthday. It took a long time to get here, two months or so. He even ended up calling them to see what happened to it. I did finally receive it. It came in a small mailing envelope, which really threw me! I opened it up and it looked so small compared to the commercial. I held off for a couple of days before transfering from my old purse to this new one. I finally got my courage up and as I added more items, my son started laughing! He said, It looks like it's growing! It keeps getting bigger and bigger! I was very surprised to see it hold everything my old purse could hold. The main reason I wanted the purse was because of the shoulder strap. I like hanging my purses on my shoulder but find it frustrating in how they always slide down and bang into everything. I find the shoulder strap a really good thing with this purse. And I have no problems when carrying my cell phone in the pocket in the strap. Although I have not gone back to view the commercial and actually have everything on hand they have to put inside it, it holds what I want it to hold and I have a lot that goes into my purse!!! The only thing I find different, for me that is, from the commercial is the bottle of water. Yes, it will hold the bottle, but it won't clasp shut with the bottle in it. That may be because I have two eye glass cases in it. One for my prescription glasses and one for my sunglasses. But! I can still carry the bottle when I need to! I did not upgrade to the leather. I just got the regular material. It's soft and pliable and comfortable. I have used my purse for four months and have not had any noticeable wear and tear with it. I've had people ask me about the purse and I have recommended it to them. I think it was worth the money.

My wife used this purse for less than a year and it is not repairable. I called Buxton to see what they could do and they don't do anything beyond 30 days. I asked if I should send it back so they can improve the product and they weren't interested. The seams are falling out. It is a nice idea...they just need to build it so it will last!

I was very disappointed in the quality of this bag. I did not overfill or abuse it and within a month the seams ALL frayed/split. worthless piece of crap. 30 day money back not good enough. Maybe i just got a lemon, but from what i have read since, others have had problems too.

The advertised price of $19.95 is a fraud. I ordered one deluxe bag and a wallet and was charged $90. When I upgraded my original order to the deluxe bag I was charged for two bags. When I called to cancel my order I was assured a refund. Instead I received 2 bags in the mail. Both were identical - both were damaged with zippers that didn't work and tears in the leather. My account was finally credited for $65 of the $90 and I will continue to try to get the full refund. This is a terrible product - don't waste your money. The customer service reps are completely ignorant of the product and don't even know what is on the website. I will say they are very nice people, but cannot help you because they don't even know what they are dealing with. This company is a rip-off! Don't even be tempted. The bag is junk.

When opened POB to retrieve bag, strong, awful smelle hit nostrils. Pulled wrapped package out and realized smell came from it. Attempted to open package when back inside car, but began gagging because smell was so pungent. Put bag on floor to move farthest away from me so I could drive. Because smell was so bad, strong, and gave me headache, let bag air out several days before trying to again touch. When could finally stand to get near bag, immediately saw very poor quality and was not a leather bag as advertisement led one to believe. Only one small portion/area appears to really be leather. Every other part of bag is either plastic-vinyl or mesh. Though the plastic-vinyl is awful, I really don't mind the mesh pockets because they allow ventilation useful in this bag. I also like the cell phone holder. That portion is turning white as something like black paint cracks & peels off it. The expand-zippers won't stay zipped. That's annoying & keeps shifting bag's size & way bag holds inside stuff. The The Bag is rather small, which I don't mind as I don't like large bag. I like organizer design and the way it slings across body frees hands. Would like to purchase it's features in a truly genuine leather bag. Again, mesh is ok. not receive the advertised free. Also, did not receive free recorder. It was not sent. From reviews I've read, it's very cheap & worthless, too; however, that's what was advertised as part of the order so I expected and think I was cheated because it was not sent. Hopefully, less & less purchases are made for this bag and Buxton will go back to drawing board on this one.

I just got mine today. I haven't used it yet, because the smell is SO BAD that I'm going to let it air for a few days first. It was a lot smaller than I expected, and looks cheaply made. There also seems to be something on the surface of the leather that burns my skin (I'm hoping that will go away as it airs out). There is something weird/cheap about the leather, and I'm wondering WHAT ANIMAL they made this leather from, because it doesn't seem like cow leather. Not only that, but my cat was VERY interested in the smell of this purse, which makes me even MORE suspicious about what ANIMAL they made this from (somebody should do some lab tests). I also see that it's made in China, this makes me even MORE curious to find out what it's really made out of, given all the dangerous & sub par stuff that has been coming out of China lately.

I bought mine at a retail store and haven't tried to fit everything in it they do on the infomercial. But, the things I can put into it must all be removed if I want to find anything. I can find my cell phone but, as previously noted, the velcro is weak and the phone falls out often when the bag is upside down. It also falls out if the velcro catches on anything - and it catches on almost everything! I haven't had it during the winter, but I would imagine that it would ruin sweaters.
