I love this make-up! It has improved my skin tremendously since I began using it. I have sensitive, problem skin, with acne and rosacea, and had broken out in an allergic rash from another make-up I was using. I went to the store looking for a specific product that I had heard would not further irritate my skin, but they were out of my color, so the sales lady recommended Bare Minerals. I tried it and, not only did it not irritate my skin, but it actually helped to heal the allergic rash and my red, bumpy rosacea had almost disappeared for the first time in two years. I think it is the high percentage of zinc that gives it its healing properties. Regardless, I've have been using it with great results ever since. The other ladies in my office even noticed how much better my skin looked, and now six of them have become hooked on it, too.

i have used BM for 5 years it does take a little practice to find the right technique but i have oily skin and it stays on better than liquid i also have dark undereye circles and redness to get good coverage for problem areas you need to use bisque as a consealer and the foundation now it takes me about 5 minutes to do my makeup in the beginning it did take longer but you need to watch and follow the instuction and practice it is different than liquid or pancake makup but with practice and correct technique you will great coverage with a natural look it can be a bit messy but so can liquids if you have oily skin like mine you will need to reaply the mineral veil a few times a day also has sunscreen this is the best makup i have ever used and trust me i have tried most of them for my problem skin

I started using this about three months ago. I have really sensitive skin and had cystic acne, and this let me cover it (so I wouldn't be stared at) and it didn't feel like anything on. It didn't interfere with my acne treatment either. I used to try other types of cover ups but everything broke me out, except this. I think it you want a natural look without all the chemicals this is perfect.

I wasted my money on this product. I bought one for me and one for my mom and neither one of us like it. Not only is it VERY messy, but I haven't found that it has very much coverage at all. They say just buff more on until you get the coverage you desire, but the more you add the cakier it looks on your skin. Definatly not what I expected after watching all the infermercials and [].

This makeup is wonderful. I have VERY sensitive skin and it works great for me. I am 39 and have always used Chanel. This is so much better. A couple of points: First, anyone can get an allergic reaction to ANY makeup. You have to try things first and if they don't work for you send it back!! Second, use moisturizer and watch the dang video to learn how to use the makeup! That's the reason they include it!! It's amazing to me that the people who whine and complain don't use products correctly.

The only con is it is "pricey" but the products last longer than other brands so the value is better! I have used Bare Minerals since 1995 and love it all of it. I still have some of the eye shadows! Must try it...They will refund your money if you are unhappy in any way.

I have tried every foundation out there, from "very well known, expensive brands" to cheap "wouldn't admit to, in a crowded room" brands, and this is by far the best. I have never, until now, found a foundation to match my skin tone (very light with yellow undertones). All the ones I tried looked and felt like masks. They sweated off, settled in my wrinkles (what little I have, but don't want to advertise), and made me break out. I really can't say enough about this product, I absolutely love it. I have clearer skin, and I will never, and I mean never, go back to liquid, non-matching foundation again!!! EVER... However, in all fairness, I do understand that it doesn't work for everyone the same as it has for me. Just as all my friends who raved about other brands working wonders for them...

i have always had a problem with breakouts and uneven skin.I had to layer on foundation before.Tried BM and absolutely love it. It's sheer with a very natural look. I highly recommend this product.

I had seen BM on tv for a few years now & on one of the shopping channels and always wanted to try it. I can only say I wish I had bought it much sooner!!!! I LOVE this and will NEVER EVER go back to using anything else. I have VERY oily skin and it controls the oil like NOTHING I have EVER used before. I can't say enough good things about this!!!!!!!!!!! I would recomend this to anyone and everyone who has acne or oily skin. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR INVENTING SUCH GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!

I have an obsession with make up. If it's out there, I've tried it. I love this stuff. Also, your face is only as good as the skin care product you use. If you have oily skin and strip it completely, it just produces more oil. Use a good skin care line, including moisturizer. I do experience itching when I get sweaty, but anytime I had my old make up on, I felt itchy. I can usually just blot my face with a damp rag, then dry it off and touch up my makeup. Better than the copycat brand, too. I purchased the complete kit and love it! Also, the product is in small jars, but they go a really long way depending on the amount of coverage you need. Try it and give it a month for your skin to adjust. I love it!

I was very impressed with the high quality ad and their stores are really nice looking but don't be fooled by the looks! I have combination skin and I wanted to try Bare Minerals because I had some pigmentation from previous break outs.. So i spent about hundred bucks on the concealer and i had to buy two colors to match up to my skin! so I wore it to a party and after like an hour it started itching so bad. I couldn't even take it off!.. after like 2 more applications of it, I started breaking out so so bad that i was even embarassed to go out and get my mail thinking someone might see me!And my skin felt so dry. I had to put on so much of it I felt like I had 5 pounds of makeup on my face..I almost went into a depression because of my skin looking so bad!

I have roseacia, and tried a different "mineral makeup" first. The other one didn't mention the cream concealer that came with it & was necessary to actually cover anything. Bare Minerals told the truth - 100% mineral powder, and the concealer brush does all the work. My face is actually calming down & is much less red. I just used a little tonight, and my boyfriend looked at me and say, "Hey, you look really good." He doesn't even realize what's different, just that I look so much better.

I have been using BareMinerals for a year now, and I have introduced the line to at least a dozen other women who have converted on the spot. HOWEVER, it must be said that the product's coverage and quality are directly proportional to the skill and attention with which it is applied. The women who don't react well to this product tend to a) use too much, b) use too little, c) don't blend adequately, d)merely dust it over their faces like powder, or e) don't bother to watch the instructional video. For coverage that DOES in fact cover spots, freckles, and capillaries, you have to build it up in light layers. At 38, I HAVE gotten compliments on my skin since throwing away all my other foundations (which never earned a comment of any kind.) Your mileage, as always, may vary, but I have a mom in her 60s who's also a big fan.

I found the make up stuck to any lines or wrinkles I had. The powder set in to any wrinke on my face and made it worse. Its messy to use the powder gets all over. Not worth it. Maybe if your 20 and have lots of time to clean up.

Since I like the "natural" look in makeup, I was interested in trying Bare Minerals. I ordered their basic kit which held a few very, very small containers in a huge box. Ultimately I was disappointed. The coverage is not that great -- you have to put on a lot more than advertised to get an even skin tone. No matter how much you put on, you will not be able to make blemishes or veins invisible, despite what they say. It's very messy and it takes a long time to apply. It is adequate as far as makeup goes, but certainly NO BETTER than what I have been buying for much, MUCH less money in the local drug store. Doesn't last very long either -- by about the 4th hour it was wearing off. Okay as far as makeup goes, but huge ripoff when you consider how expensive it is!

I was skeptical of Bare Minerals at first thinking "how in the world could some mineral powder provide the coverage that i need?" Boy was I wrong. It covers great, blemishes, redness, hyperpigmentation, everything!!! The little concealer brush does great, and my skin has actually imporved drastically since using the makeup, it is expensive, but so worth it!!!! I am so happy with my Bare Minerals!

I was very excited about this product, that is unitl I actually tried it. No matter how much I use, there was hardly any coverage. I have oily skin, and it did nothing for it but made it worse. Beside messy, it made my skin itch. So now it's in a pile with the rest of the products I buy and don't work. What a waste of money!

I have sensitive skin. I bought this thinking I could wear it in the summer and not have my face break out like it would from regular foundation. I put it on and as soon as I would perspire a little my face would start to itch. So bad I had to stop using it. I still have it and I use it in the winter. It's ok. The "warmth" is really dark for fair skin like mine though. Wished they had a "warmth" for lighter skin. Looks like dirt on me.

Bare Minerals is the best! I didn't feel or look like I was wearing makeup and I could touch my face and none would rub off. It does take a bit of practice to get the technique down, but it's pretty easy. My only complaint is it is a bit pricey, but you will see how much more superior it is than mass merchandiser and even department store foundations.
