I actually have tried this products a few times because I wanted it to work. I do have a dryer skin type and even when my face is hydrated and primed, the foundation does look "powdery" on me. I do, however, use the eye shadows and liners quite often. They are now so many other mineral makeup lines on the market, I also feel that this particular line is a bit pricey. Nice pigmented shadow and blush colors. Brushes are also nice. Not crazy about the mascaras, very clumpy. Lipsticks are nice, very creamy, but do not last on the lips.

BE is the best product on the market. When I started using BE, my employees all asked me if I was going without make up because my skin was radiant. I told them about my change of makeup and everyone of them has changed to BE. My family has all changed to BE & everyone that I come across who has issues with their skin I recommend that they try BE.What I like the most about BE it's light and takes very little to cover uglies.I never look like I have on makeup. The secret is to go light. You don't need to use a ton to cover up and smooth out.I also like that if I sleep in it, my face won't breakout. This product lasts all day. My blemishes have completey disappeared. In my prior makeup life, The products last a long time because it takes very little product to get great results.

I had a bad case of rosacia (notice I said had...). This is the only makeup I've used that really took out the redness with no "touch ups" throughout the day. It has evened out my skin tone also. It is messy to use at first and takes some time to get used to as it is a very different technique to apply. Even when I don't wear makeup now, the rosacia seems to have disapeared. Thank you!!

Product dries out skin and magnifies lines. ALSO, it does wipe off on clothing & is not waterproof. Expect to be very disappointed. The auto-ship club will bill for months after you cancel!

I've used Bare Minerals for a couple of years now and was disappointed at first. One thing I did learn early on, and it does make a big difference, is be sure to exfolliate once/twice a week and a face mask once a week. Been using over the counter "cheap" ones and they work fine.

Of all the "natural" ingredients they could put in bare minerals, they put iron oxides in it. I am allergic to base metals. The iron oxides are in warmth and mineral veil. My face is like sandpaper now after using the product ONCE. My face has broken out in eczema and the dry skin is flaking off. If you are allergic to base metals like I am (I know you are out there) don't use this product!!!

I tried BE and it is a great product when it comes to its eye shadows, lipsticks, etc. The foundation did not work for me. I used it as directed, but with my imperfections required just a little more than indicated, adding more product only made my face look cakey and made my fine lines even more noticeable. I tried it for a while, but it just did not work for my. It is a great product, but it is not for every one. Canceling my membership was painless and prompt!

I bought this product back in October and have been using it for about 2 months. I did not receive the max coverage concealer brush, so i have to use my old brush until i buy it. The product provides pretty good coverage for me but it makes me break out into little bumps on my forehead and only my forehead. I am pleased with the entire Bare Escentuals line and will continue to buy it.

I love it! My face is always oily and this seems to be the only product that has not made my skin break out. I have pretty much used every brand out there!!

This does not work for me. Makes me look "plastic" and greasy. Using mineral veil made skin look severly dehydrated. Although it covers imperfections well it brought out all fine lines and caked. Too bad :(

Absolutely the best! Do to other cosmetic products I've used in the past, I have lots discoloring from scarring on my neck and jaws. To try to cover this I have tried every product on the market, some of them very expensive. Most of the money was wasted because I I discovered that I was allergic to those as well, or The coverage was terrible, or the coverage was great, but the makeup was extremely heavy and rubbed off all over my clothes and made me feel dirty. Bare minerals is wonderful. It lives up to all of the infomercial claims and I don't even feel like I'm wearing makeup. I'm hooked for life unless they "new and improve" at some point in time. I like it just like it is and hope and pray the never change it.

This foundation is terrible on me. Though I worked with it over a period of time, hoping to get a better result, it always feels incredibly itchy, and it brings to glaring highlight imperfections I didn't even know I had. If I wanted to pass for someone much older, with worse skin, this is the product I would reach for. Dreadful.

I have issues with dark patches and uneven skin tone. This is the only foundation I have ever used that I don't have to touch up during the day. Coverage is excellent and the feel and look of my skin when using the product is like none I've ever known before.

I love this product, it covers my face without caking, it leaves a nice, even color on my skin, it feel great and it doesn't transfer onto my shirt collars! It doesn't get all caught in my lines and wrinkles so that i look younger! I shall never use liquid makeup or any other type again!

Bare minerals is OK, but there are flaws & I've modified it. Ist,the big brushes are scratchy. I use a MAC brush & it's great. I like the sheer look from the foundation.. it does itch a bit for me, but that was helped a lot by switching brushes. Make sure your moisturizer has fully absorbed before you apply or it's very blotchy. It's sheer coverage, so bad for evening, but perfect for a summer day. I like the mineral veil and take it in my purse at night to use with my regular foundation as a touch up because there's no build-up. I have medium skin & love Warmth!! Use very sparingly. I use it with other makeup base at night or even on bare skin by the pool. I also use their other face colors for some nighttime sparkle. Don't be afraid to use with other makeup. Learn the technique, but then experiment

This is a great product, I have sensitive skin and I am also a black woman who uses this product religiously. It keeps my oily skin under control, no shine breakthroughs at all, it covers well, you only need to use a small amount to cover and to control the flow of the powder, a few tiny taps into the cap is all it takes. I've had no outbreaks, either. It's a great product when used properly.

I have been using Bare Minerals for around 3 years. Every once in a while I run out and buy something quick at the drug store and regret it. I love this makeup! I can use the concealer brush to really apply areas full coverage (have spider veins near eye) or just put a tiny bit on for the weekends and a bare natural look. My advice for those who break out is to keep your brushes clean. Also make sure your face is dry so it goes on evenly and dont keep the product in a really steamy bathroom 'cause it is a powder and seems to absorb the moisture. Really a little goes a long way. I buy 2 shades and mix dep. on the amount of sun Ive gotten. Can put a little more on after work and look fresh to go out. Wouldnt go back for anything!

After seeing Bare Minerals advertised several times, I decided to give it a try. I have sensitive skin and liquid foundations just intensified the problem. I wore Bare Minerals to work and everyone asked me what was different. Did I get a haircut? My eyes looked fantastic, what was different? This product is great, you don't even know you have it on. It evened out my skin tone caused from medications and made my face glow. I would reccomend this product to anyone and have to my family, extended family, and friends. Keep up the good work!!

Seduced by the infomercial, I ordered Bare Minerals. When I first tried it, it seemed chalky and enhanced wrinkles rather than softened them.. As I became more adept at mastering applying the make-up, my skin began to break out in a rash with tiny pimples. My face is still burning and itching. The DVD that accompanies the product is shameless in its attempt to convince the consumer to buy more nnd more products and to layer one's face with a multitude of products at the same time. Coverage is good in that it easily covers the damage it creates while creating more damage.
